Very good read. You need to read the whole trilogy.
From the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo to this book – a completely engaging and fascinating journey.
Dark
Don’t just read this book. Read the whole trilogy. Lagercrantz’s sequels aren’t bad either. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is one of the great characters of modern fiction.
Characters are great
This is one of the Elizabeth Salander books. In this one, she confronts her father with tragic results. The main character is unusual in that she has a mental illness caused by trauma at the hands of her father.
Another great chapter in the series.
I quite enjoyed listening to this book.
I loved this whole series but the girl with the dragon tattoo was the best.
You definitely need to read these books in the right order. Although the books are works of fiction, the characters are so very real.
It is impossible to write anything about the books because spoilers would just ruin it for the next guy. All I will say is that if you read THE GIRL WHO PLAY PLAYED WITH FIRE, you will have to read THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET’S NEST.
All three books are great. I couldn’t put it down.
Give credit where credit is due! This whole series of three books by Steve Larson is amazing.
The “dragon tattoo” series were all first rate. The adaptation to movie by the Swedes was just as good. It’s so sad that Larrson died so young. He still had a lot of stories to tell I’m sure
Great book.
The book is always better than the movie. Lisbeth Salander is one tough cookie for such a small woman. Better than Wonder Woman!
A thrilling series. Full of unusual characters and situations and the writing kept me spellbind.
Love this series. Have read them all.
While the story started at a slow pace (the IKEA shopping scene comes to mind), the author once again delivered a fantastic last third of the book that was fast-paced, action-packed, and a definite page-turner. For a while, I wasn’t sure if Lisbeth had killed all three victims, just the one, or none at all, so I really enjoyed the end where some of Lisbeth’s past is finally explained and the “all the evil” (mentioned in the first book and this book) is finally explained. If you like your books fast-paced like I do, you may have to push through a tedious beginning and middle but it WILL deliver in the final third, in good old Larsson fashion. Great story.
Love the series … well written in that you get to really know the characters and feel what they feel
Great
