The Ghost and The Graveyard is a funny, exciting, and sexy read intended for adults. Due to sexual content, language, and violence this book is recommended for ages 18+
Grateful Knight isn’t looking for love when she moves into a rent-free house on the edge of a graveyard. At 22, all she wants is to recover financially so she can move back to the city where she belongs.
But sparks fly when … belongs.
But sparks fly when the gorgeous cemetery caretaker, Rick, introduces himself and mentions his suspicion that her new house might be haunted. Her attraction to him seems supernatural, and despite her resolve to not get involved, she literally can’t keep her hands off him.
When things in Grateful’s house start moving on their own, another man enters her life, Logan, a sexy ghost with a dark secret. He says Rick isn’t what he seems, and indulging her passion for him could cost her soul.
One thing’s for sure, magical forces are at work in the tiny town of Red Grove, and they’re converging on Grateful. Life will never be the same once she’s forced to choose between the ghost and the graveyard.

This is a great start for a series. Genevieve Jack does an excellent job with world building. The heroine Grateful is an excellent main character. Despite a disastrous former relationship, she is still fiercely independent and determined to make it on her own. I look forward to seeing where Grateful’s story goes.
Original spell-weaving tale that will keep you hypnotized and turning the pages until the very end. I have trouble finding books that aren’t the same old story with names and setting changed. This author thinks outside the box. 5 shiny stars for this series.
I couldn’t put it down! Fun read and the steamy parts are to die for. Must read!!!
Definitely a different type of tale. I enjoyed reading this book. I like the characters they do make the book easy to read.
Well written
I enjoyed this entire series. I would highly recommend this author’s stories to anyone. Her attention to detail and her ability to weave a story is fantastic.
The ghost or the graveyard….make a choice….what?! So I am not gonna lie. I picked this book up solely because of it’s cover. What can I say, it just yelled “read me!”. So, without reading the synopsis I jumped right in. Grateful is our main character. Like most/some women at 22 years old she had her run in with some not so great relationships. The …
I stumbled across this book as a freebie from BookBub. I could not put it down. I loved the characters and story line. By the time I got to the end, I just had to know what happened next, so I bought the second in the series. I’m currently 3/4 of the way through the final book. This is an amazing series!
Riveting!
Grateful Knight (I would have hated to be her in school. What a name.) is a nurse. Due to her ex-boyfriend conning her out of all her money, she moves into a house her father, a real estate professional owns, but hasn’t been able to sell. Pros: It’s thirty minutes from work, rent’s free, and a super yummy caretaker lives just across the …
The Ghost and the Graveyard had so much going from the start of the story. You had ghost and really hot graveyard keeper Rick who Grateful just couldn’t keep her hands off of ever though there were many reason for her to be weary of him. There were so many parts of this book I loved and then there were some I could have done without ever reading …
3.5 raised to a 4. Overall, I enjoyed the story, but I felt like the focus on the romance detracted from the interesting world building.
I loved the narrator!
I am curious about how the story might develop moving forward.
The Ghost and the Graveyard was a great paranormal book. In a way it reminded me of a mix of buffy and a few other paranormal books I’ve come to love, but at the same time the plot felt totally new and interesting! I don’t consider myself a prude, but there was one part of the book that had me cringing a little. Because of spoilers I won’t go into …

This one was not for me! It was fun but sillier than I like. And I’m a very silly person. Premise was interesting though.
Check this out if you haven’t already. An easy, steamy read.
I loved following Grateful’s thoughts and actions as she was introduced to the dark and spooky. 5 stars for this starter of the series!

I have read this series more then twice and love it. ️. .
I liked this book enough that I read the whole series. Including the spin-off series. Genevieve Jack creates a very detailed world and wonderful characters that will keep you up reading late at night.
This was my first introduction to Genevieve Jack’s work and enjoyed this story so much!
Grateful has just experienced the shortens of a breakup. With no money and no place to live, she is forced to seek the help of her father by moving into a house with a graveyard for a backyard. Little does she know that the previous owner has ties to her life …
I really enjoyed this book . Its interesting from page 1 . It’s a page turner and you’ll be sad to see it end .
