Murdered artists. Masterful forgeries. Art crime at its worst.
As an insurance investigator and world renowned expert in nonverbal communication, Dr Genevieve Lenard faces the daily challenge of living a successful, independent life. Particularly because she has to deal with her high functioning Autism. Nothing — not her studies, her high IQ, or her astounding analytical skills — prepared her … analytical skills — prepared her for the changes about to take place in her life.
It started as a favour to help her boss’s acerbic friend look into the murder of a young artist, but soon it proves to be far more complex. Forced out of her predictable routines, safe environment and limited social interaction, Genevieve is thrown into exploring the meaning of friendship, expanding her social definitions, and for the first time in her life be part of a team in a race to stop more artists from being murdered.

Interesting characters.
I love this series and its quirky characters, interesting plot twists.
Just terrible. Read 81% why I don’t know.
Creativity brings in the stars. Well written without a lot of errors (some books just aren’t readable). Not really that believable but fun anyway.
Enjoyed the mystery aspect combined with female lead on “the spectrum” for different viewpoint.
A good easy read and nice to see how a person with autism worked around her problems and led a very fulfilling life.
Interesting story bad writing. Did not finish
I enjoyed the interaction between the people involved and especially liked watching the main character grow.
Unusual characters, different and interesting. Unique read.
Genevieve is an unusual character. She is super smart
I originally chose this mystery book because the main character is an adult with autism. I was interested in how the author would portray the character’s interpersonal and performance abilities within the work world. I was not disappointed, although the main character special work understanding with her boss, one not typical for workers with …
Really entertaining read
Great “who done it”!
I found all the different facets of the crime hard to follow. I never got a true picture of the motive. But the book was still great because of the characters.
I got this when it was free. Loved it so much that I tracked down the sequels at local libraries. After checking them out multiple times, I realized this series was one of the few I really wanted to own. I’ve bought the entire collection and am eagerly awaiting the next volume.
Absolutely love this series! The main character is fascinating and fun and really unique as a heroine. I’ve learned a lot about this condition through this character.
I truly enjoy reading this series. The characters come to life. I love that the main character isn’t what is expected.
Highly enjoyable, hard to put down. Great characters
Enjoyed the story and the characters.
I love her writing. Not only does she tell a great story, but she allows us a chance to understand a little about Autism and how it impacts how someone who has it. Totally different than any other book I have ever read!
