A beard-related dare and one hot-as-hell kiss changes everything.NFL center Ethan Dexter’s focus has always been on playing football and little else. Except when it comes to one particular woman. The lovely Fiona Mackenzie might not care about his fame, but she’s also never looked at him as anything more than one of her brother-in-law’s best friends. That ends now. Fi doesn’t know what to make of … know what to make of Dex. The bearded, tattooed, mountain of man-muscle looks more like a biker than a football player. Rumor has it he’s a virgin, but she finds that hard to believe. Because from the moment he decides to turn his quiet intensity on her she’s left weak at the knees and aching to see his famous control fully unleashed.
Fi ought to guard her heart and walk away; they live vastly different lives in separate cities. And Dex is looking for a forever girl. But Dex has upped his game and is using all his considerable charm to convince Fi he’s her forever man.

Loved this awesome sports romance. Give me a hot football player with a beard any day 🙂
Le sigh. Who doesn’t love a broody, sexy, sensitive man?
spoiler alert I totally loved Ethan and Fiona’s story ! it was so steamy and sweet 🙂 i couldn’t put it down .
Omg Ethan is a total catch ! he’s calm and sweet and you can tell that he’s deep ,he thinks things through and he finally goes after what he wants 🙂 which happens to be Fi ,he’s such a good guy and he ended up falling for Fi the moment he met her 2 years ago but he didn’t make a move because the timing wasn’t right but now that Fi is standing right in front of him he can’t help but tell her how he feels ,they have s super hot night together and Ethan makes it clear that he wants more ,Fi doesn’t want a long distant relationship but her feelings for Ethan run deep and she is willing to give it a go 🙂 it turns out to be one of the best things she does 🙂
Fiona is so cool ,i loved character so much ,she goes after what she wants and she ends up not only falling in love with Ethan but she also finds her passion in furniture making, her and Ethan have a great relationship, they have their ups and down but they never give up on each other !
I loved this book ,i have a thing for Sport Romance books 🙂 i love how Kirsten Callihan combined both worlds 🙂 i love her writing and the characters she creates 🙂
An amazing study in opposites, Dex and Fi are absolutely perfect for each other.
First of all, this book is a public-service-announcement for beards. Immediately after reading the first chapter, I insisted that my husband grow one! The opening scene was very sexy, but also had a depth that told us a lot about who Fiona and Dex really are.
Beyond the physical attraction, though, I loved how the author made Dex so thoughtfully intelligent, so much more than the caricature of a big jock. He’s an unusually complex character, especially towards the end when life spirals out of control. The story honestly addresses the issue of making a long-distance relationship work, and on what basis sacrifices can or should be made. The way they each bring out the best in the other was exquisitely portrayed throughout the book.
As much as I’ve loved the other books in this series, this one is my favorite and is one of my top-ten reads for 2019.
Everything in Ethan Dexter’s life revolves around football, he eats, sleeps and breaths it… that is until he meets Fiona Mackenzie. Then his focus starts to change just a little, problem is she doesn’t seem to interested in him, so he bides his time and waits for the perfect moment to make his move. But that all changes when they unexpectedly meet in a bar…
Fiona Mackenzie has known Ethan for a while now, she has always just saw him as her brother-in-laws football playing buddy, but when she runs into him at a bar she starts to see the gentle giant in a whole new light. The moment her lips land on his, the sparks start to fly, and she starts to feel things she never knew were possible… but she also has to face reality they live worlds apart from one another. In a week they have to return to their normal routines, so how will this thing between them ever really work out?
I can honestly say this is one of the best first reads that I have settled down with in a long while, from the moment I started it I was hooked! The story line was very engaging and had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The chemistry between Fi and Ethan was undeniable, their relationship was intensely passionate, and filled with lots of steamy action that left me blushing a few times! This one is definitely going to linger with me for a while, especially a certain sexy center!! I highly recommend you get your hands on this book, you will not be disappointed…it is a VERY satisfying read!
Hell fucking yes! This was everything I dreamed of and more. I’ve read the previous two books in the Game On series and I loved them both. Equally.
I simply love this cast of people in the series. Drew, Anna, Ivy, Gray from the previous books and now Fiona and Dex. It’s like going to a reunion and you haven’t seen your friends in a long time. It was so easy to jump back in and go with the flow.
Ethan Dexter! What to say about this gorgeous, bearded man. I fucking love him. Such a loyal and down to earth guy. Only speaks when he has something to say. And when he does it’s important and necessary. He’s a really good and kind man, who loves the people who are closest to him. And boy, does he loves! His love for Fiona is strong and powerful. He remembers everything about her. From the first time he ever laid eyes on her. Once he has her, he doesn’t intend to let go.
Fiona is a funny and flighty woman. Loves a good party. I really loved the growth and change she goes through. She’s never been in a really serious relationship and the one with Ethan does things to her. In a beautiful way. She’s a loyal person too and doesn’t compromise with herself and her values. Her and Ethan together was funny and sexy as hell. Their attraction was so erotic and just the simplest touch could create sparks.
This was just an all around fantastic book. Everything worked and came together perfectly. I love, just love every character in this series. They are family and love shines through all of them.
Kristen Callihan, you’ve done it again! Just spectacular!

Loved these characters and the story. This is my favorite book in this series. Ethan had me in the first scene. Fiona is sparky and I love how she takes Ethan in hand, at first, at least. I liked the first-person POV, and I don’t always.
