He didn’t know he was playing.Zack was just living his life.It was really a game. When he started to ask questions, everything changed. Zack wasn’t supposed to figure it out. He could ruin everything.Zack was disoriented when he woke up. They had welcomed him back. He didn’t know where he’d been. He just remembered being 74 and near death. They said he was seventeen. What was this “best score” they … remembered being 74 and near death.
They said he was seventeen.
What was this “best score” they kept going on about?
Where was this place?
Who were these people?
And why did they keep talking about the next game?
You’ll love the first book in the series and get lost in the elaborate world created by Terry Schott. It will keep you turning pages until the end.

I got this book as an offer from Bookbub and just bought the second. As a gamer i very much enjoyed this book. It really makes you think about the new technology that’s coming out.
The story was awesome. It is a story inside a story and you don’t get lost. The story follows zack and his team on his final play through of The Game before he turns …
I enjoyed this story immensely. Detailed and well-executed. Very deep. This story has multiple layers, incredible development, and is simply a brilliant concept.
It was an interesting concept.
Excellent story. Inspired me to read on to book 2.
The story is soooo real
Initially, I expected to leave a stellar review. The concept of recreating “The Matrix” with different parameters got me turning the pages. In this book, Earth is a virtual reality where the players–who are children in the “real” world–are born, experience life in the VR, and die with only minimal passage of time. They then take their …
This book has actually changed my outlook on life…after all, it’s only A GAME.
The book dragged and then I find there are seven books. Wanted closure
Litrpg a catagory I find interesting. If you like stories which incorporates gamING mechanics you may also like this.
Really enjoyed the originality of the story line.
It makes one think about life.
Interesting concept
I kept wanting it to get better, because the idea behind the story is very good…but I wouldn’t bother with book number 2.
I was good until it turned into a religious treatise. I did finish it partially because I never give up and I kept hoping it would stop with the religiosity! It did not. Books like that need to have a warning.
Virtual reality to the nth degree, reminent of Jack Chalker.
I really liked this book and the series. Interesting idea.
Awesome book. A must read. Really gets you to thinking. Not want you would expect !
Challenges what we may perceive as real life. I’m questioning if this is book is actually science fiction or hidden in plain sight reality. Totally awesome read!!
