Fair warning. This is a big book, the first in a series, and it leads into a massive world. If you like it and keep reading, be prepared to dive into multiple series by the author. That being said, it is a wild, whimsical ride that is well worth taking.
One of the best romantic books with a mix of every other feeling I have read
loved the characters, all the twisted and turns and the suspense.
Loved these characters and this book. Great read!
I couldn’t put this book down!! I had to get the next in the series, because I loved how this book keep me wanting more. Love this author
The language was discusting, good story, but no reason for the F word to be used in every sentence. I never finished the book, got so tired of that kind of talk.
Kristen Ashley is one of my favorite authors! I love a good, hot, steamy, romance with some sit on the edge of your seat suspense. Awesome series!
Loved this book!! Would recommend to everyone!!!!
It was a fast, fun read.
Good read.ending a little contrived
This is one of my favourite Kristen Ashley books. The way she writes a love story is amazing. Makes you want to go right out and find a little mountain town and settle in.
I read a lot of romance, and they are usually fun, short, and sweet. This one went beyond the usual. It was longer so that you could really get to know the characters and it was really enjoyable. So much so, that I actually bought the next book in the series and started it right away.
Deep character development, some unexpected twists. Great read.
Loved the very real feelings of the relatable characters. Great setting and had a mystery along with the hot romance.
The story and the characters were very good, but it would have been excellent if most of the f-words had been eliminated. The book would probably have been a lot shorter and more enjoyable. I’m not prude and can take a little of that, but if I met a man whose main vocabulary consisted of the f-word, I’d know he wasn’t very bright.
A fun read.
It kept me interested from beginning to end.
Great read, typical romance however I wasn’t able to figure out the culprits, which is very unusual for me–so a surprise twist which was nice!
Good reading
KA’s heroines rarely have it easy and this one is no different.
The men in Nina’s life…
1. An indifferent fiancee, soon to be ex, in England, aka the loaded Niles
2. An indifferent father who abandoned the h and her mother, but REALLY likes the loaded fiancee.
3. Dead beloved brother that was paralyzed, committed suicide that she talks to
4. …
