“Jean Brashear’s distinctive storytelling voice instantly draws in the reader. She writes with warmth and emotional truth.” ~ #1 NY Times bestselling author Debbie MacomberFrom New York Times and USAToday bestselling author Jean BrashearTHE TINY TOWN WHERE HEARTS GO TO HEALNestled in the Texas Hill Country, tiny Sweetgrass Springs was founded by four veterans of the Texas Revolution, and for … Texas Revolution, and for over a century the town and their ranches grew and prospered. Nowadays, however, too many of the town’s children leave for the big city as soon as they can escape, and Sweetgrass is barely hanging on. The heart and soul of Sweetgrass is Ruby Gallagher, once a scandal for bearing a child out of wedlock and refusing to identify the father. Her daughter vanished from Sweetgrass right after high school, but Ruby, owner of community gathering place Ruby’s Café, remains, keeping vigil, hoping for her daughter’s return. She is fighting to save her ancestors’ legacy, but the town is dying, and it’s breaking Ruby’s heart.

Love this town and the people in it. Can’t wait to meet more.
Texas Wild
Ms Brashear did it again. She continues to hold our interest throughout the entire book. Her characters are lovable, and the storyline is believable.
Love this town and the people in it. Can’t wait to meet more.
Texas Dreams
This is another fast-paced romance story from Ms Brashear.
There are hot sexy men and some very feisty women. There is always some comedy involved.
There is two secret weddings and lots of chaos in this storyline.
A very enjoyable read, can’t wait to read the next one
I love this series. Loved the people of this small town. Can’t wait to read more of her books.
Fabulous story teller! After reading this set, I bought 2 more boxes setsby her. Love the characters and the town of Sweetgrass Springs… I’d like to live there, if it were real.
Awesome series. When completed I recommend 4-6.
good story
I love Jeans writing!
Hard to put it down. Loved all three. Have started Box 2. Thanks for a great read.
Great book!! I enjoyed reading about the characters of each book. I can’t wait to read about Jackson next.
great series–ENJOY
Great read -looking forward to reading the rest of the series
Need more like it.
what a joy it is to visit Sweetgrass Springs. I always read these stories and want to go spend time with all the wonderful characters. It feels like coming home to read these stories.
Read the series, the characters will become friends. I found myself searching for the sequels and spinoffs to find out what happened to all the characters that appear in the different books.
The series is very good but becomes too familiar toward the end. Her characters are real and respond appropriately in the context of the plot. I especially liked that Janette was given respect and acceptance in the community after her years of service. I recommend this book to anyone who likes happy endings and romance.
I did not realize when I got the set that I had read book 1 already. No problem. Good enough to read a second time. Book 2 and 3 were also very good …. and left me wanting to read the next 3 that I bought the next book set at more money than I normally spend on books.
There is a great theme that runs through the first 3 books. The unresolved in earlier books are resolved in the next. I did struggle with one characters unwillingness to we the one they loved.
Texas Roots Review: I liked this book there was some suspense which kept me turning the pages. Jean Brashear let Scarlett’s secrets unravel slowly. I enjoyed Scarlett’s warmth towards Henry and Brenda. I liked how Scarlett dealt with Jeanette. I loved her protective side to keep everyone in Sweetgrass Springs safe. I loved how Ian persistence in finding out what Scarlett was hiding. I could feel the attraction between Scarlett and Ian. In my opinion Ruby was the best character. Jean Brashear brought tears to my eyes at the end. I really liked this book.
Texas Wild Review: I really enjoyed Rissa and Mackey’s story, I just knew there was something bad lurking under the surface. With the tension between Rissa, Mackey and her Dad, I just waited for the blow up to happen. Rissa and Mackey made me laugh with the way they circled each other it was like watching a boxing match. When it came down to it Mackey found away to step up, for Rissa and Eric. I found all the characters grew a lot. Jean Brashear brought a tears to my eyes at the end with Mackey and Eric. I loved this book.
Texas Dreams Review: This was a fun story but not my favorite. I did enjoy bringing all the characters from previous Texas Heroes Gallaghers of Morning Star and the Marshalls. There was a lot of deception, banter and surprises. Jean Brashear gives you suspense will it happen or not. I found a lot of humor in this story. I did get a little teary eyed at the end. There is a big surprise at the end.
Good series
Have nearly all of the series.
I really liked the stories and ended up getting more books by this author.
