Light-weight (what I call a “skinny romance”) but well-written, very funny, and kind of sweet. I read the first six and may get some more.
Loved it. Hated to have it end.
Loved the series, even read the next book!
Wonderful story line, kept you engaged and you wanted to know how the family’s resolved their relationships. Love everything that Ms. Breshear writes.
Enjoyed so much I purchased the second boxed set 4-6
The author threads so many different well developed characters throughout and across her books. There is lots development of story line.
Love Jean Brashear’s characters. Will have to read the entire series now.
Great characters & situations! I am now on books 4-6, & love them too.
Family
When Scarlett left NY city to find her grandmother she ended up in a small town in Texas, but she doesn’t want to bring trouble. She meets Ian when she has a flat & it’s a beginning of a beautiful love story. Then Mackey one of the 4 horseman show up and finds little Rissa a big girl, and they fight how they feel, but a little helps that. Then two weddings and a renovation.
Excellent mix of characters and their relationships. Good read.
