March 11, 2004. The Madrid train bombings kill 193 innocent civilians. What the terrorists didn’t know was on that fateful day they also succeeded in creating their worst nightmare. No one knew who he was, what he looked like, where he came from, nor who he worked for. He was a sniper who could take a target out from eight-hundred yards to a mile. He could kill with a long gun, short gun, or no … long gun, short gun, or no gun. He was lethal with edged weapons, explosives, poisons, or no weapon at all. Targets could be executed from afar or die with his breath in their faces.
Among his enemies he has many names: El Gato, the cat, Alshaytan, the Devil in Arabic, the Ghost, and many others.
His real name is Rex Dalton. He has no friends. He has no family. He has no girl. He has only one motto; don’t hate the terrorists. Instead kill them, so they can’t kill again.
THE FULCRUM is a full-length novel, a nail-biting thriller by best-selling author JC Ryan. It is the first book in the electrifying new Rex Dalton series.

The main character is a man whose family died in a terrorist bombing and becomes a secret agent going after terrorists.
Good story, sometimes descriptions slow the action, but well worth the read, I liked it.
This novel moves at a fast pace and is entertaining. It was almost too far out to be believable but I enjoyed it.
Must read for suspense readers
One bad event makes the lead character an unbeatable angry violent opponent of Islam. Too angry and too full of nonense. Read at your risk
Ryan is up there amongst the best when it comes to weaving intrigue with heroic characters.
The book reflects, what I assume are the author’s view, that everything wrong with the world is due to illegal immigration. The book is poorly written since every obstacle the “hero” runs into is easily surmounted within a page or two.
The fulcrum was a fun read. It’s a little predictable and a bit farfetched on the military point of view. Usually I get bored with a story like this but the Fulcrum kept me in there..
Loved book , want to read more from this author!
A very good book; quite a page turner. Both my wife and I liked it. Good characters, good action. Not full of sex or bad language. I’d wanted to give it 5 stars but the ending was more abrupt than I’d like and clearly set up for the sequel.
Could not put it down.
I enjoyed the book very much. Interesting how the author managed to get todays events into the story line and many comments he makes are very true in my opinion.
I loved the character. Kept my interest from page one
I enjoyed the book very much! I have found a new author!
oved it. Don’t miss it…
Weren’t sure until the very end how it would end, then the hook was set nd needed the next Dalton book.
A Phoenix rises …
Very interesting plot. The action was fast moving, never boring. Enjoyed it!!
Great characters, involved plot. enjoyed.
Jeez, what a waste. This book has no connection to reality. The situations are possible, but Rex is not. Wow, not even Superman can compete with this guy, since he isn’t a genius and doesn’t speak fifteen languages.
The book is too over the top to be enjoyable. I didn’t even like Rex. I thought he was a jerk. And, sometimes, the book just wanders off on a tangent that, as far as I could tell, had nothing to do with anything.
Won’t be reading anymore of this.
