This is a story for every woman who has a best friend…Bailey Watters and Koralynn Mitchell consider themselves “sisters of the soul.” Their circumstances growing up couldn’t have been more different; Kora came from a wealthy, privileged family, while Bailey’s home life was hard. They’d do anything for each other. “I’d give you a kidney,” they always say. There are no secrets between them–until … secrets between them–until there’s one secret Bailey can’t share.
This is a story for every woman who’s been in love.
Danny Brown is the only man Kora’s ever wanted, ever loved, and her marriage seems as flawless as everything else in her life. Bailey, however, doesn’t want a husband. She does want a baby–but only by IVF. And the perfect donor, the perfect biological father, would be a man like…Danny.
What happens when love and friendship collide?
Kora might be willing to give Bailey a kidney. But what about a baby?

It read more like something written by an average high school student. The author used words out of context in an attempt to sound more articulate but it read like a high school student whose been asked to write a sentence using a word they’d just learned. The author really needed to do more medical research. The author’s literary presentation of …
I tried to like it. I loved all the hype about friendships and loyalty but I found this book terribly unbelievable. It was very predictable at times and far fetched at other times. I was disappointed.
Yes, it is kind of like a soap opera but it was entertaining and kept me turning the pages until I just read it all in one sitting.
Good book.
It was a page turner and really pushed my threshold of character acceptance
I really enjoyed it his book. The characters seemed pretty real. The ending surprised me.
Kept my interest – certainly a twist but by the time the “twist” happened it was predictable. Good summer read.
Boy what a difference the beginning of the book until the end or finish of the story line. I thought it was sort of slow and predictable at the beginning when the ladies/friends start out their lives it was always the same they were growing a bond to be tested later. Covered some situations that in todays world are different from how I grew up …
Not having been able to establish a life long friendship like the one in the book, it is hard for me to comment on if it’s realistic or not, but it was entertaining and an easy read.
Great friendships. Could relate to the friends.
Kept my interest. Good, easy read.
I love complex characters that have issues that are relatable.
Didn’t finish it. I was not drawn in by either the writing or the characters.
