The Foundation is a real page-turner. It is an easy to read action-packed book! You will find Jack is a man of moral conviction and many skills that most people don’t ever have.
A well written book that most will enjoy!
This was a pretty entertaining book if you enjoy political intrigue and espionage books. Jack Emery is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist going through a divorce when he becomes entangled in a war brought on by a group of radical conservatives known as The Foundation.
The story focuses on one particular member of this group, Michelle Dominique, who is running for Congress. Along with paid assassins, she is planning on taking over corporations, the government and who knows what else?
The book is well-written and full of action, but you have to concentrate in order to follow the story. If you enjoy this type of book, you will enjoy this one. And, it makes the reader think about journalism, the media, and politicians in a little different way!
Wow this book was great -I couldn’t put it down-loved it
Loved it! Excellent modern day thriller. Action packed with great characters. The foundation plans to make America great again, and is willing to start World War III to make it happen. They weren’t counting on a particularly tenacious reporter.
Great read about super power nations at war, sparked by power hungry bad guys with money to buy anything.
Great book to read. It’s very well written. This is an author you will want to follow. Great books ahead for this one. Don’t miss out.
Too much time on unimportant details, not enough development of crucial parts. So much narrative, but inane dialogue. Running, running, running but not going anywhere.
Enjoyed every bit of it from beginning to end
Very frightening scenario for what could happen in the current world situation.
AS I read it all I could think about was the CLintons and House of Cards…..This is a great believeable story.
In today’s political environment, a completely plausible attempt by a corporation to take power by fomenting war between the major world powers. It employs a frightening use of the intersection between money and media to control public opinion and drive politics. Great characters. Fast moving plot.
very average
A little on the scary side considering the world today!
Bit too far fetched
Had to suspend my disbelief for a bit, would classify as a good beach book. Not a classic, doesn’t leave you breathless, but still entertaining.
A protagonist who whines and drinks too much. Annoying and boring. Quit after a few chapters.
I think it went a little deeper than the surface story. I see a skewed version of the politics of today – at least I hope it’s not an accurate portrayal. I could do without some of the language
BORING BORING BORING
Fantastic read
Out-dated conspiracy. Shallow, self-indulgent. The main characters was drunk most of the time. Winning a prize was the only motivation.
