Very sweet, interesting. Plot may turn out as expected, but has a few twists along the way.
Sweet innocent story
I love the stories of the Amish. In their simple life style, the truth seems more evident and able to come through.
I enjoyed the love story and I learned a lot about how the Amish life and religious customs.
Good book
This was a book that really pulled you into the story. Their was sadness but also happiness at the end.
A horrible tragedy is the beginning of a sweet, innocent love story. Such a happy, feel good book!
A well-written story centered in an Amish community. Enjoyed the story!

I learned more about the amish way of living.
A sweet romantic story with many twists and turns in the plot. Sometimes we make bad decisions how to handle a sticky situation, and then have a hard time fixing the mess. Great read though!
After the tragic loss of her fiance, Veronica meets his best friend. This book tells of their trials before they are fall in love with each other.
A little predictable.
I was really brought into this story by the authors expert skills of writing. It was believable and entertaining, a nice clean romance and held true to Amish tradition ,which I find facinating
at times frustrating but hang in there.
I liked this book and the characters, however, after a.while it got a little boring hearing about how everyone loved her pies. I think it would have been a bit more I interesting if the recipe writer’s story (her grandmother) had been interwoven.
This was a very pleasant book to read. Although the outcome was predictable, it was written well and worth the read.
I enjoyed it. Learned a lot about the Amish!!
A great inspirational book. A good read.
I enjoyed the story of two young people who have a loved one in common and must work through their own misgivings when tragedy strikes. The family support characters add to the entire story. Well worth reading.
