I enjoyed this book. It brought home the truth of how important it is to forgive others. Although the book had a few predictable parts it was still a good read with an excellent message.
So true to life, yet with some unexpected twists and turns. We all need to forgive. It’s a choice, but oh, so hard!
A great read and lesson about forgiving and the benefits. Wish my sister would read this.
Wow,until I got to all the forgiveness and that’s when the metal hit the road wondering how can this be.may be worth rereading,,,,,with a higher power only can this happen…
For completely different reasons than this book’s plot; I have been struggling with unforgiveness towards someone. This book equal parts convicted and encouraged me. I LOVE how real it was. No pat answers. Life is hard. God is faithful. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness and bondage, but Christ has come to set us free! I LOVE this author. She’s a wonderful story teller, but more than that she gives her readers Truth.
This was a very different story! Very interesting to see how the troublesome dilemma would be resolved. I enjoyed the book and always like this author’s books.
I enjoyed this book so much. Good story and kept me wanting to read more by this author.
Emotional book about the ultimate Forgivness.
I love Robin Hatcher. This was one of her best.
Great example of forgiveness.
Very well writen book on a sensitive subject
From the beginning I kept asking, “Who could have conceived of a story line like this?” Obviously Robin Lee Hatcher did. The situation is jaw-dropping, defying imagination — mine at least. I loved the story, the way it wove through each character, binding them all together in an unbelievably complicated situation, leading finally to a soul-satisfying conclusion. Wonderful, amazing book!
I have read several of Robin Lee Hatcher’s books but this is by far the best one! There is depth to her writing and the characters she has created. A very spiritually encouraging book, plus interesting in reading about the sinking of the Titanic. Highly recommend this book!
Wonderfully developed characters with a crazy story. Loved how the writer captured how real relationships with the Lord work.
I almost didn’t continue reading the book after reading the beginning. I couldn’t imagine how it could possibly work out. It was an excellent book describing the importance of forgiveness, the freedom in doing so, and the pain in holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness.
The topic of forgiveness was addressed in a compelling and intriguing way. The book made me want to look into what God says about a son and a father having a physical relationship with the same woman. I would like to see after the history was revealed, if the young couple could have shown more love to each other by not pursuing a romance. Human romance is not always God’s answer, but it seems a foregone conclusion in most novels. I would also have liked to read what the father’s regrets were.
A new favorite author(to me)….like her style very much!
I enjoyed this book. It made me think how I need to forgive others. Most things are not as hard to forgive as what the character had to forgive. Unexpected story line.
This story is one of forgiveness that is only possible through the miracle of God’s grace. Sara, Claire, and Dakota have a long journey through their pasts to come to a place where they can be a family without bitterness. Robin Lee Hatcher always shines in her ability to create characters that her readers can love and see themselves in. This is a story that everyone can understand because sin has broken every heart and divine forgiveness is a gift any believer can have through Christ’s sacrifice.
I really liked the story and the reality of unforgiveness and the bitterness that it can cause and the spreading of it but I think it went on a little too long I think it was little bit too much but the story itself is good and I love the wisdom of some of the characters and it is a reality
