But when they face a multitude of home improvement obstacles, will these two former adversaries be able to pull off a successful flip? Or did Great Aunt Penny have something else in mind with her bequest?

The Flip by K.L. Montgomery is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. The story is about Andrew and Sonnet who were academic rivals in high school. When both jointly inherit a house ten years after high school can they put their differences aside? Andrew is the underachiever who enjoys his life. Sonnet is the overachiever who wants to continue her education and lead girls into the sciences. The two decide to flip the inherited house. There were elements that reminded me of “The Money Pit”. This was a fun read that kept me from putting it down. I wanted to see where the story went. The characters were relatable and realistic. I hadn’t read the first book in the series but am now going back to catch that one before continuing to the next book. I hope that the stories are as fun as this one.
The Flip by K. L. Montgomery is book two in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This story gave me hours of entertainment, many lol moments, and an immeasurable sense of complete satisfaction. Andrew and Sonnet didn’t see eye to eye. On anything. When they realise the inherited a house together, that began the hilarious, yet passionate journey to their ever after.
The Flip was an energetic read that swept me away with the drama and endless activity. There was always some new dilemma waiting around the corner. It kept me on my toes and thoroughly invested in all that these characters had to offer. Never once was it boring. Never once was there not spirit and desire. It was one of the most brilliantly written romantic comedies I have read so far this year. 4 stars
The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2)
by K. L. Montgomery
I love reading this light hearted romance. This story is about Andrew and Sonnet, they find themselves having to work together to flip a house that was left to them. It seems easy but these two have a past and can’t stand each other and upon further inspection this is going to take a lot of work and them working together to accomplish their goal. As they spend more time working together they start to really get to know each other, not what they thought they knew. I love how Sonnet is an independent, intelligent, and strong character. As I was reading this story I was completely invested in their story and hoping for a happily ever after. You must read to find out how This turns out. This is an awesome story to read and I highly recommend this book!!!
The Flip by K.L.Montgomery
5 Stars!!!!!
I really like finding new authors and delving into their books. This book has such a refreshing storyline and characters. I was glued from page one. The authors use
of little flashes of the past the two shared and the whole total opposites attract plot line was just sensational. I really like how she was able to draw out the
romance and build it slowly. After all sometimes we find the loves of our lives from those that we least expect.
The chemistry between Andrew and Sonnet is just electric. There is so much spark from the beginning. I was quite impressed that the author drew this out and didnt just
go with the obvious. I like that they seem to hate one another at first then by then end realize they are made for each other. I really like books that are more
realistic and mimic real life. I really would like to read more from this author and of this series. I really like the unique refreshing writing style.
The flip is a brilliant sweet romance one that will have you hooked right from the get go. Well this story made me smile and laugh then the next minute I’m having to hold back the tears it’s safe to say it takes you on a emotional journey. I have read other novels from this author and I’ve never been disappointed and i think this is my favourite so far i really enjoyed couldn’t put it down my eyes were glued to the pages!
The Flip is the second book of this series and had a different feel compared to this first, Fat Girl. The Flip is full of comedy whilst showing that opposites really do attract. There’s parts of the story that jump back to when Andrew and Sonnet were in school and did not get on. I felt this added to the story so well and allowed us to know the characters better. This story is a lovely and entertaining read that will have you smiling throughout. The Flip is my favourite of the series so far and I recommend it to anyone who has not yet picked up this 4 star read.
a great read about moving on. When his great aunt Penny leaves him a house, Andrew Clark is excited beyond belief. But when he discovers she also left the property to his high school enemy Sonnet Jayne, he is reluctant. With an old house with several problems that need resolving to sell it, can they put the past behind them and work together?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Sonnet going after her dreams whilst standing up for herself or Drew struggling to find his way but still being hilarious. the use of opposites between their dispositions worked well and was written brilliantly.
I also loved the visual detail throughout the novel with a sense of colour in Penny’s house and vases and wallpaper with small details to emphasise the strange tastes of an old lady. I also adored the natural imagery throughout the novel with the beach and the sunsets in a sense of vivid beauty of nature and especially with the storm and the lightning in colour and danger as if you were actually there. the simple setting of a house and a neighbourhood worked well and was written perfectly with the sense of a small community. Additionally, the flashbacks to high school events worked well and didn’t disrupt from the narrative of the present. The use of different perspectives worked well to display both sides of events in the past and present and was easy to follow. Overall, a enjoyable read and I would give it five stars.
The story The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery is a contemporary romantic comedy book. This is the story of Andrew and Sonnet. This story was interesting for sure. I really liked the concept of half a house for each. The sparks definitely fly and the story builds as it goes. Definitely recommend!!!
The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery a sweet romance story that is an easy, light and enjoyable read. The characters are fun and engaging and will make you laugh out loud and make your heart flutter. The story is told from their different POV’s which gave it more of that pop factor. K.L. has that magic factor when writing her stories and this one had it in spades. Her word building of the characters and the world in which they live have you imagining each and every vibrant piece by piece to make the story a whole. K.L. is one author that should always be on your read list as her stories are easy and connective and just the right amount of bite size to keep you satisfied.
The Flip is a delightful rom-com by K.L. Montgomery and is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, but it can be read as a stand alone. Sonnet and Andrew have been competing with each other since high school and still don’t get along ten years later when they inherit a beach house together. They need to be able to work together if they are going to get the house flipped so they can use the money to follow their dreams. I enjoyed the story of this book, the writing was witty and while it took me a while to warm up to Sonnet, I really liked Andrew! The banter was hilarious and I found myself really rooting for these two! I look forward to reading more by this author and other books in this series. If you are looking for a fun and romantic beach read this summer, I would highly recommend this book!
What a fun summer romance. The plot developed in a predictable way, which was not detrimental. It was a fun, charming read, one that would be perfect for a lazy, summer day. I continue to enjoy this series and author. Definitely recommended reading!
The Flip, Book 2 in the Romance Rehoboth Series by KL Montgomery
4 out of 5 stars
What a saucy book! This book was very lighthearted and super fun. I fell in love with Andrew, and can I complain right now to the powers that be that he isn’t my neighbor? I mean, honestly. My isn’t my block filled with men like him? I digress. Sonnet is absolutely adorable and her name is beyond suitable for her. I loved their quips back and forth. Their playful banter always had me snickering and, at times, downright laughing. The body positive vibe and the, love yourself movement that you get from this book along with the hilarious interaction and relationship of Andrew and Sonnet will complete is amazing book. The writing of this book is very smooth. Not once did i feel that it was rushed in any of the scenes, nor was any of the dialogue drawn out or lengthy. Highly recommended!
The Flip, Romance in Rehoboth 2, by K.L. Montgomery
This is not the first book that I have read by this author and I can not wait for more from this series also.
Sonnet and Andrew have known each other since they were kids. That is when their academic rivalry began. When they are both left a house at the beach in Bethany, will their rivalry come back full force or will they be able to work together and get the house renovated and sold. While they are at it, maybe even have a summer of fun or maybe even longer…. I truly enjoyed this book and the chemistry between the characters. I can not wait for more.
I just inherited a house, how awesome you think! Wrong. You just CO- inherited a house with the one person you simply couldn’t get along with in high school. The Flip by K.L. Montgomery was honestly hilarious and simple. Two former high school enemies are gifted a house by a wonderful woman who was the great aunt of one and the neighbor of the other. Andrew and Sonnet must work together to figure out what they will do with Aunt Penny’s house. The story was cute and funny. There are a ton of obstacles that the pair has to overcome and the story itself felt realistic. I loved nerdy and incredibly smart Sonnet and Andrew reminded me that though it may take a little longer you can always chase your dreams. The great thing about this story is that it shows that dreams change and it can be something you never expected and right in front of you. The ending is perfect and I loved how everything came together. I can’t wait to read more from this author!
The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery. This is book 2 in the series but can read as a standalone. I LOVED this book. Its the first book I’ve read by K.L.Montgomery but for sure not my last. The Flip is the story of Sonnet & Andrew (Drew) who hate each other in high school but get brought back together by Drew’s Aunt Penny who leaves them her beach house. They competed in school over grades and just being the best at everything. After they are brought back together by the beach house they find out they actually might like each other. They both have big dreams and this house flip is the key to those dreams. Read The Flip to find out if Sonnet & Drew’s dreams come true and to see if they end up together. This is such a fun book!
GREAT BEACH READ! This was such a fun book. Sonnet and Andrew are great together. They may have been rivals growing up but that only adds to their chemistry as adults. Together their goal is to have a little fun while fixing up a house they both inherit, so they can flip it. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong! You’re going to laugh and maybe even cry a little as you read their story. You don’t want to miss this one.
Book Review: The Flip
Author: K.L. Montgomery
FIVE STARS
K.L. Montgomery is an author that I started reading over this last year and let me just say I am IN LOVE with her books. Her body positive points of view and her real as life characters. There are no perfect faces, bodies, careers, lives. This is all plain and simple REAL life. I feel like I could be next door neighbors to the characters in the K.L. Montgomery books. These books are appropriate for anyone to read as there are no sexual encounters described in detail. Yes she hints at it but you do not get the “full frontal” assault that you may from someone else.
In all of K.L. Montgomery’s books you laugh. There are solemn moments and moments that make you reflect, but there is most definately laughter. I think this is one of the reasons that K.L. Montgomery has fast become one of my go to authors when I am having a rough day. The characters can laugh at themselves and their friends and still go on like you would any normal day.
Be warned you will get sucked into Flip. The story of Andrew and Sonnet and how they are brought back together is sweet and sentimental. Dear old Aunt Penny really did pull a fast one on the two of them. Left the house by Penny, Sonnet and Andrew have to figure out what they are going to do with it now. The decisions they make and the steps they take. The things they end up doing for each other. It is suprising the way things turn out. I am in love with them.
This is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth. The first book was Fat Girl, another great book and the first book I read by K.L. Montgomery.
WONDERFUL book and wonderful author. I look forward to many more!!

Be prepared to fall in love!
As you read through any of K.L Montgomery’s books, it’s like walking through life. Her stories are so well mastered that you forget you’re reading and feel as though you are part of the world that’s laid out before you. The Flip is no different in this aspect.
Sonnet and Andrew are two characters who fight their way into your heart with witty puns and bursts of aggravation as they are forced to work together to flip a house left to them by Andrew’s late Aunt.
It’s no easy feat to flip a house, and when the person you’re forced to spend so much time with is someone you’ve hated since high school, there’s bound to be sparks.
Sonnet and Andrew’s story doesn’t disappoint as tempers flare, sparks fly, and the battle of wits between them will leave you laughing and asking for more. This is a beautifully written story.
This book sucked me in right from the beginning. I loved the humor and honesty of the characters. Sonnet makes me want to go back and be a scientist – her passion for it is so real. Drew really matured as the story went on to become a sweet guy (happy sigh). There are great, quirky characters that add even more fun to this charming read.
