Actually I chose this one but I loved all of the books in the series. The main character is a non-nurotypical or simply put autistic. She is a multifaceted, complex and utterly fascinating character. Her relationshipe are complicated and heartwarming with a cast of equally interesting friends and co-workers. I read the first book and was hooked, bought the rest and gorged on great storytelling. I can’t wait to read Ms. Ryan’s newest. As an aside, I often get books where the story isn’t bad but the grammar, punctuation, and spelling are abysmal. Not so with these books.
I have read every book in this series. Each one held my interest. I am invested in the characters. Through the series the supposed misfits core group enlarges as the characters grow individually.
I really like this author. My local library doesn’t carry her and I have to request books inter library from all over the U S. Just pre-ordered and bought her latest novel.
What an exciting story! I just love this series. Other than a few curse words it is clean. It has amazing characters and keeps you on your toes. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
Love this whole series
I loved seeing the world through the eyes of a woman with Autism. Very unique and hopefully it will educate some of us.
A good read. A different story line, one that isn’t tried and true. Lightly humorous in a way, but very respectful of autism.
The development of the character with compulsive behavior was lacking… story line was good, but a lot of little things that broke the character.
I love this series. Genevieve makes some profound breakthroughs in dealing with the humans she finds herself engaged with. I love seeing her unfold!
I have read the whole series, I like the characters and their relationships to each other.
Not quite as entertaining as others in the series.
This is one of a series that have an interesting and different protagonist. That alone gives a unusual view. The mystery isn’t bad either.
A good read in a good series, and not as violent as the last book that had me questioning whether i wanted to continue.
Formulaic junk.
This is part of a series. Best to begin at the beginning and watch the growth of the sleuth.
I enjoy every book in this series. They are superb.
Always a good mystery
The characters of this book and as well from the first three are very likeable. It’s fun to read how they interact and as well it gives another perspective to understand autistic persons. All this put in an interesting plot makes those books so readable.
I love this series and have read them all. The character development is phenomenal. The tie in with art is original. The plots keep you up all night reading.
I have read the first four books in this series. It has a unique plot in each one even though tied together by art. Gives insight into someone functioning with autism. It is always a good sign when I want to read the whole series and you hate to see a book end.
An intelligent mystery series with an atypical female protagonist and her group of friends that keeps me coming back for more. If you enjoy art and/or learning something along with your mysteries, this might be a series for you, too.
