The idea is excellent, but the book was too complicated for me.
Kind of disappointed in the ending
interesting idea. you know it isnt real and that’s wrapped up tight for a few main characters at the end
I found this book thought-provoking.
thought provoking
Not my usual genre, but somehow I couldn’t put it down. It’s a bit easy to read and I don’t know why I liked it… but I did.
This book, with well drawn characters, gives the reader food for thought. What would you do if you were able to talk to deceased loved one. Could it be possible? Is someone playing a cruel hoax? It is an easy read that stays with you. I suggested it as our next read to my book club.
I have always enjoyed his many books.
Overblown writing, but light on content. I couldn’t finish it.
Too predictable!
Ordinarily I’m a fan of Mitch Albom, but this book was disappointing It felt contrived. He tried too hard with this one.
Worst book he’s written.
A strange and disjointed book that I cannot recommend.
It was a great read. I loved the characters.
I love anything Mitch Albom writes. I’ve read them all.
Great characters. A good message.
I absolutely love all of Mitch Albom’s books.
I don’t read a lot of Mitch’s books, but the title pulled me in so I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. I think my eyes leaked a little. This is one book that I will read again and it’s a keeper. While many of my books find their way into a garage sale, The First Phone Call from Heaven stays with me.
