“I have a huge favor to ask.”Chloe Clark, a thirtysomething waitress, and Liam McGeary, her socially awkward bestie of seven years, were close. Movie nights with popcorn, coffee shop catch-ups, and take out Tuesdays. Their friendship was unique. Zero sparks. Perfectly platonic. Until Liam asked Chloe for help with a problem. A problem he only trusted his bestie to teach him: help with kissing. He … help with kissing. He had a date with a former high school sweetheart and he was embarrassingly…inexperienced.
Although Chloe was shocked by the request, Liam wasn’t hard on the eyes and she did love to kiss. Helping him was a no-brainer. He just needed the first 100 kisses under his belt, then he’d be all set for his date.
What Chloe hadn’t counted on, was liking it. A favor that started out as a play-book of moves quickly turned into something dangerously steamy.
Something neither one of them were prepared for.

I liked how Liam needed his friend Chloe to help him with his 100 kisses. I really enjoyed this story.
Liam and Chloe… What can I say… I loved this book. Watching relationships unfold is my favorite. This book has me laughing, crying, and at times hot as hell. At moments it’s tastefully steamy. Danielle Bannister totally hit this one out of the ballpark.
The First 100 Kisses by Danielle Bannister is an entertaining book to read. As I did so, I hoped for the ending I wanted and was not disappointed. Ms. Bannister did an excellent job in introducing me to Chloe and Liam. I felt their best friendship was real and liked how they interacted with one another. They trusted and felt safe enough to try what Liam wanted. Again, the ending of the story was spot-on. I really liked this book. Great job, Ms. Bannister.
The First 100 Kisses is Danielle Bannister’s next standalone. When I found out she was releasing her next book I was so excited. I have been following her since her first book Pulled was released and I will never forget it made me cry for the first time in public while reading it. I haven’t read every book but I have read most. She has fantasy ones that I haven’t dove into yet since it wasn’t one of my go-to genres but it’s one that I found to enjoy recently. Anyway, back to The First 100 Kisses…
Liam needed help. His high school sweetheart was back in town after fifteen years and asked him to dinner. He was not a ladies’ man. He didn’t have relationships. He didn’t have one night stands. He was an awkward but good looking man who wasn’t into the whole dating scene. But, for Angel, he wanted to show her that he was not that awkward teen she once knew. So he asks his best friend and neighbor for help. In the kissing department. In the how to know the cues department. How to not look like a total idiot in front of a woman department.
Chloe was in shock. Sure, she hadn’t seen him bring dozens of women home over the last seven years but there were a few. And he was good looking guy. She even tried to hit that at one point but friend zoned that very day. And now, he was just a guy she watched tv with, talked to, and annoyed. So, she said yes. She would help him get the girl. Except, she didn’t realize how much she would enjoy it. His kisses lit her up. His nervousness turned her on. She knew she was playing with fire but she couldn’t stop it. Was it worth losing their friendship? That was what he came down to. He wasn’t doing this for her. He was doing this for Angel. The woman of his dreams.
I fell hard for this book in the very beginning. Chloe is hilarious, daring, and snarky. Liam. Poor, poor Liam. He is clueless in the sweetest of ways. I loved him. I thought it was so refreshing that he was the one that needed the lessons. The lessons in seduction. It’s usually the other way around so that was so fun! To see the guy lost. Will he get the girl?
Overall… I loved every minute of it! The characters are a great match. Complete opposites. The lessons went from sweet to sinful. It says it’s a novella but it feels more like a full-length book to me. It’s not short but not too long either. It was perfect.
Quotes:
“Take your hands out of your pocket and come closer, moron. I can’t kiss you way over there.” His eyes grew wide.
“Now? You want to do it now? Don’t we need to talk about the techniques first? A flip chart maybe? Or perhaps a drawing to illustrate movements?”
Remember. He’s a Ken doll. And Angel is his Barbie. I was Skipper, the homely, lonely doll no one played with.
I had a feeling this was going to be both the best and the worst decision I would ever make.
This was a fun and exciting romance between two best friends, Liam and Chloe. When Liam asked his best friend to help him out, they never conceived their unimaginable ending. Good, sweet read with sensitive issues thrown in.

A new author for me and I like her style. It has great characters and the chemistry is popping. It has you reading till the end to see what will happen. It sure was funny at times. I think you’ll enjoy it.

This story was sizzling and steamy hot as Liam asks his bestie Chloe to teach him how to kiss. I couldn’t help but to feel for Liam as he is so lost and so totally shy. And I couldn’t help giggling at how bold and confident Chloe is. This romance as fun, funny and quite entertaining.

This is a cute story about best friends that fall in love accidentally. Liam is adorable and well written as some on the spectrum. Chloe has some real self esteem issues that we don’t really a backstory to, but suffice it to say that she doesn’t know her worth. What started out as a friend helping another friend turned in to both heated and heartbreaking moments. It was an enjoyable read (not too long and not too short) and I couldn’t put down.

In The First 100 Kisses, a contemporary romantic novella by Danielle Bannister, we meet Chloe Clark and Liam McGeary. Best of friends for the past several years, the two of them “get” each other—all the warts, flaws, and quirks. They trust each other like no one else, never crossing the lines, never asking for more than the other will give. Sigh.
Until…Liam admits a former girlfriend—maybe the one who got away—plans to make a grand return to his life. He begs for help from Chloe, the woman who knows everything about. . . sex and stuff. Because, like he’s a virgin and never done the deed and since she has—many times over—who else does a guy turn to?
Our Review: Get ready for the ride of your life with this steamy friends-to-lovers romance as Chloe teaches her Best Friend how to win a woman’s heart, mind and body. The fact that Chloe has a secret crush for the nerdy Liam puts a wrench in this particular monkey works. Watching the two come together—literally if not figuratively—is an adventure.
On a scale of 1-5, The First 100 Kisses deserves a 4.
Kat Henry Doran, Two Wild Women Reviews
This is a fun read. I loved Chloe and Liam. They are best friends and neighbors. Chloe is a little wild but seems like a super fun girl and I would totally be her friend. Liam is the opposite of Chloe. He’s a virgin and doesn’t have much experience with girls. Chloe and Liam have great banter and I loved them as friends and so hoped for more. Liam’s high school sweetheart, Angel, is back in town and they have a date set up. I didn’t like Angel from the beginning. Liam needs help with learning how to kiss and not be awkward with Ange so he asks Chloe to help. With each kiss and the more time they spent together, I got more and more attached to the idea of Chloe and Liam as a couple. I loved the ending of this one.
The First 100 Kisses was another great book by Danielle Bannister. Chloe and Liam have been best friends for the last seven years. Everything has always stayed platonic for them until Liam asks her for help on kissing. Liam is a virgin and the only woman he ever loved has come back into his life, and wants to go on a date with him. Chloe agrees and figures that after 100 kisses he will be all set for Angel. Neither one expected to fall for the other. I have always loved reading all of Danielle Bannister’s books but I absolutely fell in love with Chloe and Liam’s characters. This was a great book that is a must read for everyone. I can’t wait to read more books by Danielle Bannister.
