This time, it’s the fight for forever.
The Fight for Forever is the final book in the Legend Trilogy and should be read after The Fall of Legend, book one and House of Scarlett, book two of the utterly addictive Legend Trilogy.

This was seriously the best trilogy I have ever read. I loved every minute of this book and Gabe and Scarlett. This one was full of action, suspense, and plenty of romance. I love the way Meghan keeps you on your toes the whole time you are reading, you never know what is going to happen and you can never predict what will happen at the end. I can’t wait for more from Meghan.
You can only keep what you can protect. That’s all I’ve ever known. It’s the way I’ve lived my life. Now, everything I never knew I needed is at risk, and I’m not letting anyone take it from me.
This final book in these series was a great conclusion to the story of Legend and Scarlett. The characters are amazing together, the story line is full of drama, suspense and hot sex, this was another great series read from Meghan March.
An Utterly Fantastic & Exquisite Performance!
WOW – Just WOW!!
Such a fantastic ending to a phenomenal series. The Fight for Forever is intense, emotional and heartfelt! The plot and storyline masterfully crafted, and the pace is just perfect. With enough twists and turns, to keep you turning the pages until you reach the last page with the perfect culmination to this trilogy. I absolutely loved it!
Moreover, Joe Arden & Erin Mallon brought this extraordinary story to live with their brilliant & exquisite performance, making it 10 times more enjoyable than when I read the book. Through their voices, Legend & Scarlet were believable, and likeable characters. Epic is the word that best defines their performance through this amazing trilogy.
I highly recommend this fabulous listen/read!
5 Stars
The Fight for Forever by Meghan March is the third and final book in the Legend Trilogy. Its the final conclusion for Gabriel and Scarlett’s love story. The book starts right where book two ended.
Gabriel Legend ran away from his past, but his past comes back to haunt him. The book was full of actions and suspense, but OMG it was so full of love, passion, and steam because that’s what Gabriel and Scarlett made it.
Gabriel was AMAZING. He was so sweet, kind, honest so… PERFECT, and IN LOVE.
Scarlett was so strong, she was a goddess.
I must say, I was expecting more action, but I had plenty of action in the love department, but I can’t take my mind off some things, that in my opinion, were left unfinished…Is it just me, or do I smell some future book/story for Q, Mosses, and even for some of Scarlett’s friends?!
The book was EPIC, very well written, and with everything you want in it. Love, angst, passion, friendship, loyalty, action, hotness, funny. Meghan March is a GENIOUS!
Grab this book because it is AWESOME!
I highly recommend this Trilogy!
And what I can say more? The final installment in The Legend Trilogy was definitely worth the wait but oh how whole waiting time was hard, especially after cliffhanger in the end of second book. As with this whole story and let’s face it all Meghan’s books I loved this book from beginning until the end.
If you are new to this author you may wonder why. Her stories and especially this one has all qualities of amazing story such as fast pacing, suspense, sexiness, undeniable chemistry, mix of unexpected twists and turns and amazing characters. Need I say more here? These are qualities of an addicting story. And that cliffhangers that will increase your curiosity about your favorite characters wellbeing is like a cherry on top.
I must admit I was curious about Scarlett from the beginning. But in this book I was so proud how much she grew as her own person. She became a fighter deciding to fight for her happy ending with Gabriel. She stood to everyone that did her wrong and decided that the most important thing is having happy life around people that really mattered even if sometimes #LifeIsMessy.
And as to Gabriel he is really serious contender to The Best Alpha character in all Meghan’s books. He will make you swoon all over him. He as no other person deserved true love and real happiness after all he went through in his life. Who knows maybe by the end of this story he will get of all that and even more…
And as always with Meghan’s book secondary characters were written in such an amazing way that I really hope that we’ll see their own stories as well. As far as I suspect we will see one of them in New Orleans sooner that we think 😉
“The Fight For Forever” had few surprises that I didn’t see them coming. I also laughed, wanted to kick something and felt utterly happy. And when there were those few moments that life of our beloved characters were in danger I wanted in one way to close my reader cause I was afraid for them and on the other hand I wanted to read more because I needed to know that they were alright.
As for characters I was very curious about how Gabriel will handle this definitely not easy situation when his not easy past will catch up with him and try to take everything, that he worked so hard for, from him. And I really didn’t suspect such ending of Gabriel’s past. But was there even one reader who suspected THAT?? Who will win? His past or maybe future that was looking so bright for him? If you want to find out you need to read this wonderful story to find out.
This was the book I was waiting for.. The conclusion of this incredible trilogy. I needed to know how all this was gonna play out…If Bodhi was gonna get his revenge by finally beating Legend and if they were gonna take down Moses for all the havoc he’s created for them.
This starts right up right after book 2. Gabe and Scarlett are pushed to their limits in this book. They have a team who’s out to make sure things fall into plan. There’s some hiccups in this. It’s fight time and the moment we’ve all been waiting for or at least for me it has been..Gabe has worked hard for this moment. Him and Scarlett are stronger then ever and have moved on in their relationship. They have proven they are in it for the long run. There’s so much that happens in this book that I don’t want to ruin it for you. This is seriously the best way to end Gabe and Scarlett’s story! I mean you have some much action in this book that you turn the pages so fast just to see what happens on the next page. Among all this going on, Gabe’s preparing for the fight of his life and Scarlett is getting noticed for something other then her social media. Her business is getting noticed and sales are skyrocketing. She is also growing as a person. Realizing what’s the most important in her life and who she wants by her side. She has her group of friends who support and has her back but she’s also realizing that she doesn’t need her dad in her life to have a family. Gabe’s family is accepting her into this clan. She grows into her true self and shows her strength in this book. I have loved reading this trilogy so much and I am hoping for a book about Q and Flynn very soon…….
The end of the Legend trilogy has me gasping for breath. OMG Gabriel Legend puts it all on the
line for the woman he loves. Scarlett Priest knows that Gabriel is her everything. Together they try
to fight for their lives, his club and their forever love. I have read all of Meghan March’s books
and this is right there as one of her best. It is the story of what a man will do for the woman
he loves. The fact that Meghan March brings Creighton and Holly into the storyline reminds me of their trilogy which is one of my favorites Dirty Pleasures. Meghan another 5 star trilogy.
I liked it. Not as much as I have loved her other series. It was still a good read though.

~REVIEW~
The Quick and Dirty: The past has come to collect, but Gabriel has something worth fighting for now. He and Scarlett are playing for keeps and facing down their demons in order to ensure a future together. It won’t be easy, but with the prospect of forever on the line, both are prize fighters ready to deliver the KO punch to anyone who stands in their way.
I absolutely love Gabriel and Scarlett as a couple and I love that they worked together to get shit done! Gabriel’s past comes knocking and it puts him between a rock and a hard place. When he makes an unlikely ally (that we’ve met before ) it leads the reader into thinking things are going to head in a certain direction, but if you’re a Meghan March fan, you’d know to expect the unexpected. I kept waiting for it and when I finally let my guard down, hit the fan. True to form, Meghan March delivers a masterful climax that gives plenty of closure and satisfaction, while still leaving room for the reader to speculate on future character interactions (see mine on my blog). Loved, loved, loved this series and highly recommend it to anyone who is a lover of romance, suspense and overall great story telling!
**I was graciously provided an ARC in return for an honest and voluntary review.**

What I always enjoy about Meghan March’s trilogies is that by the time readers get to book three, the conclusion of the hero and heroine’s story, everything comes to a head and the answers that we’ve been scratching our head at…overanalyzing for two books are revealed in ways that confirm our thought processes but also seem to come out of nowhere but make 100% sense when all the pieces come together.
What also seems to be a tried and true characteristic of March’s final book in a trilogy is a few unanswered questions left open-ended, either to prepare for a spin-off series or to allow readers to form their own opinions or resolutions, leaving endless possibilities open, and while I know that is not the preferred way some readers want to finish a three book series, I like the idea that we can have our own ideas about what will be, which works just fine by me.
I think what I most loved about Gabriel Legend was that, while he’s an alpha male at his core, there was a completely other side to him that I thoroughly enjoyed – his softer side…a part of him that was always there but just needed the right woman to uncover it and it’s clear that Scarlett is the woman who owns him, body and soul, and as their connection began to form, continued to grow, and became an absolute necessity for both of them, readers were privy to the beginning and the middles of what they built together and with their families at their back, nothing was going to prevent them from being all they could, not even the danger, suspense, or the twists and turns that March orchestrated around her characters.
There’s a certain supporting character I have my eye on and as conflicted as I am with who he is and wha he does, he’s exactly the character that makes me want to know his true story…the one that only Meghan March can tell because her anti-heroes are so multifaceted that readers can’t help but want to get in his end and unpack all of the baggage that’s clearly there.
The Fight For Forever brings the heat, heart, and drama that I’ve come to expect from every single one of March’s romantic suspense stories/trilogies. It’s a fast-paced read full of passion, suspense, and redemption, and by the time I reached the last page of Legend and Scarlett’s story, it was clear just how much both of them transformed throughout the course of their story and how they found a way to let the past lie where it’s supposed to be and move forward with a future that was fight for and earned.
4.5 Poison Apples
Courtesy of a heart pounding cliffhanger at the end of the previous installment, readers will find themselves on the edge of their seat from the moment this story starts. With Gabe’s past finally catching up to him it’s clear that his future is now not quite so clear. Truths are coming out that have him questioning everything he once believed, and with his upcoming fight taking on new implications, it’s not only his life on the line. Through all the unexpected twists and turns the romance between Gabe and Scarlett stands strong, both showing a protective side that endeared them to me in a tale that raced to an immensely satisfying conclusion.
Gabe’s early years were fraught with danger as he did what he needed to do to survive. Guilt though has weighed on him from the moment he tried to leave that life behind, and with it roaring back now, I feared for what was to come. With the danger throughout this series, it’s clear that Gabe doesn’t have a large group of friends. He has a small circle of people he knows he can count on, those who protect him while he protects them right back, and with each turn of the page Scarlett works her way into that circle. The connection between them sizzles and he would do anything to keep her safe as he knows she’s the one. I loved seeing how solid they were in each other’s love, I loved how protective they were as it added a heartwarming layer to their relationship. On the surface Gabe is a strong-willed man, dangerous with the ability to get whatever he wants….a true Alpha male. Behind that facade though is a man hurt by his past, riddled with guilt over certain events that have now put his future with Scarlett in doubt. He’s a caring and protective man, someone not afraid to show a softer side. His interactions with Bump further demonstrated his protective side and it made me love him all the more as I wiped a tear or two from my eye whenever they were together.
Scarlett was an appealing heroine, an unforgettable one that stood strong beside Gabe. She might’ve doubted her strength early on, but with each turn of the page she became stronger and more empowered. Love definitely fueled her actions and brought out her protective side. She was going to protect Gabe no matter what and her taking charge brought a smile to my face. Her interactions with Bump also charmed me and their connection felt very familial with her as the older sister. Their scenes were sweet and gave readers a moment to relax before amping up the suspense once again.
On a whole this was a well-crafted story with a perfect balance of romance and suspense. Gabe and Scarlett had a lot thrown at them in this final installment, but through it all they had each other. There was no angst between them just assuredness in the power of their love, power that saw them through some very dangerous moments. These two are perfect together in a relationship where both of them shined, both of them were likable and I cheered for them every step of the way. Along with this delightful main couple there was a small circle of friends surrounding them who also intrigued me, and who I longed to know more about. Of these secondary characters it’s Bump who always caught my attention. The depiction of his brain injury was realistic and I applaud Ms. March for how nicely he was integrated into the storyline. When it comes to villains, readers usually end up booing them, but with Moses I’m left conflicted. He seems larger-than-life and is clearly capable of bad deeds but there’s something about him that has me wanting to know more. If anyone is capable of character redemption it’s Ms. March which has me waiting with bated breath for more as this story had numerous twists and turns that were mostly tied up. There was still a few strings left hanging though so we’ll see what happens with that…if anything does. Fans of romantic suspense will find this an exhilarating thrill ride with an unforgettable main couple, and a romance that is both sweet and sexy, that once again shows off the talents of Ms. March!
Oh My Goodness. The much awaited final book of the Legend Trilogy. I didn’t review the other two, I should have, and I will probably go back and do a re-read and review, but once I finished this one, I knew I had to review.
The Fight for Forever is the third and final book in the Legend Trilogy and it was EVERYTHING! I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation after the first one, and then the second one comes out and once again, I was left on the edge of my seat. And then Meghan March comes in and KILLS it! LITERALLY! I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to such an amazing trilogy.
Before I get into this, you will NEED to read The Fall of Legend and House of Scarlett before you dive into this one. Seriously, you won’t have a clue what’s going on if you don’t.
Now that I’ve said that, let’s talk The Fight for Forever. Gabe and Scarlett are seriously #couplegoals. They are probably at the top of my couples list, with a few other couples, because let’s get real, you can’t have just one. But these two. They set my heart on fire. Gabriel is beyond words. His alpha man mentality, his tenderness, his LOVE for Scarlett. It knows no bounds, at all. Scarlett is everything you want in a Heroine. She knows what she wants, she knows how to get it, and she isn’t taking no for an answer. She is seriously my girl crush.
I won’t get into the storyline here because, hello, spoilers… but if you want a trilogy that will keep you on the edge of your seat, enthralled by every single word, to be captivated by the characters, and just all around have you wanting more, even when it’s all said and done… then the Legend trilogy is what you are looking for.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would because this book seriously is at the top of my list for my January 2020 reads so far!
Legend could not fit this book any better. Everyone of the books before lead us up to this story. We were left on such a massive cliff hanger I didn’t and couldn’t ( not with Meghan March) even begin to know or even imagine what to expect with this final installment. I feel like so many pieces to the puzzle finally fell into place. I just love Scarlett and Legend together. I think as two characters they play of each other so beautifully. Even though they come from totally different backgrounds and might not have everything in common they share so much more with how they are together. Legend would do anything for Scarlett and the same goes for her. I love the relationship these two also have with everyone else in the story. I also love the fact we get to see alot of lightheartedness among all the crazy that is going on in there lives. Meghan March has a way of torturing us with these story but as her reader I don’t think I would want her any other way. She keeps us guessing and we never know where a character or their story is going to go!
I have to say, Gabriel Legend is my new favorite hero!
I came across Meghan March late, so I still have a few more of her amazing heros to meet, but so far, Legend has stolen my heart! This man is good down to his core. He’s a good man who was given a raw deal in life and has risen to the challenge to make something better of himself. For me, that’s a huge part of his appeal. Watching him grow over the course of this series has been amazing. He’s smarter than most give him credit for, he’s business savvy, he’s unbelievably sexy, he’s undeniably charming, and he has this surprisingly sweet side underneath all those brawny muscles that you’d never expect. The man is simply irresistible.
Scarlett is still amazing! I love the fight she has in her. She’s tough when faced with adversity, but she still has this vulnerable side that she deals with. She’s the light to Gabriel’s dark, and it’s fun to watch the two of them together. They bring out a happiness in each other that neither has had before. And a huge part of my love for her has to do with how much she fights for Gabriel. He’s never had someone in his corner before, and her ferocity for him makes me happy.
If you couldn’t tell, I LOVE this series! MM has a way of making you fall in love with her characters, and these were a slam dunk for me. Even the supporting characters stole my heart, so much so that I’m hoping we get a peek at some of them in her later novels. This one’s full of heart, heat, and plenty of action. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this series for your binge-reading pleasure.
Epic ending to an Epic trilogy! Meghan March can create a world that pulls you in and doesn’t let you go. I could hardly stand waiting to see how Gabriel and Scarlett’s story concluded. The Fight For Forever was my favorite of the books. I was on the edge of my seat! My son is an aspiring MMA fighter and Megan was spot on in her attention to detail in describing Gabriel’s final showdown. I enjoyed this book immensely 5 stars!!!
A perfect ending to an awesome trilogy! I think that, like a lot of others, reviewing the last book in a series is the hardest to do. These books are so good that I do not want to give anything away. I want everyone to experience it for themselves.
The Fight for Forever picks up right from the cliff hanger in book two. The flow of the story line keeps you sucked in making you not want to put it down. I found myself saying just one more chapter and then I am going to bed a few too many times, lol. Being told from the dual point of view of the main characters keeps it fresh. And I love the way that Meghan writes her characters. It makes me feel that I actually know these people. Plus she has a way of weaving in snippets of your favorite characters from her other books. Incredible! This book wrapped up the trilogy with a big bow on top! Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.
The Fight For Forever is the highly anticipated third book in the Legend Trilogy and it blew my mind!
Gabriel’s past comes back to haunt him and now he is literally in the fight for not only his life by Scarlett’s! This story is faced paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat because just when you think you have it all figured out, you will find out you don’t!
This is a must read trilogy! Take a chance! You will not be disappointed’
This was a great ending to this trilogy. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
While I did enjoy this a lot, and I thought it wrapped up Legend and Scarlett’s story nicely, I wasn’t really surprised by anything that happened. I was expecting much more drama, and twists, especially after the cliffhanger ending of the previous book.
Scarlett was once again a great character, but I felt like her story took a backseat. We barely saw anything about her situation (not saying what) until everything was revealed (I wasn’t shocked), and in my opinion, some major plot points were dropped when they should have been explored. She also hasn’t kept up with her lessons, but honestly, if she was around Legend all the time, there wasn’t much need for it. I just thought it would make for some cute moments for them!
I loved the relationship Scarlett developed with Bump, and even Legend’s chosen family. As much as I didn’t like Moses, I was intrigued by his story line. Maybe he was in previous books I haven’t read yet? As for Legend, the focus of this book was definitely on him, and I wasn’t mad at that. His backstory was explained a little more, so that was a nice touch. I wanted to see more Bump, Q, etc.; I’m hoping there will be a spin-off series with Q based on what transpired. The epilogue was cute, and I would love to see this group of characters pop up in future books.
This is Book 3 of the Legend Trilogy.
This book is amazing. You’re on edge the whole time. There are not enough words to say how much I enjoyed this final book, and the whole Trilogy. Everyone will love it, I just know it. The title fits the book perfectly. The love Legend and Scarlett share is outstanding. The writing is superb. I wanted more when the book ended. I give away no spoilers. If I could, I would give the whole Trilogy a 10+, that’s how great it is. Please, please read.
Oh my gawd, the tension! As the plot develops, and the end of the series is getting near, the future looks more and more uncertain. We’re waiting all the time for the bogey man to hit. Meanwhile, Gabriel is preparing for the fight of his life, to defend the woman he loves against all his enemies and they are a few, and obtain the means to have a future with Scarlett. Gabriel and Scarlet are now a fully committed couple, they are secure in the love they feel for each other. What is not certain is the outcome of their future. There’s a lot to gain, and a lot to lose, and yet they are determined to win, in this game of love and in the stakes of the game.
This book has so many wonderful moments, like when Scarlett realizes that family is not a father who ignores her unless she fits a purpose and a gain for him. She finally realizes that family is what you make of the people around you that care for you. She embraces and adopts Q’s family, who are Gabriel’s and Bump’s family. She realizes that her mother was a woman, just like her, with defects and qualities, that just did the best she could and made her the wonderful woman she is today. And Gabriel realizes that home is wherever Scarlett is.
With all these truths, this couple is in the fight of their lives, but also with the strength of their love and their convictions and with their collective family behind. This includes Gabriel adopting Flynn, Scarlet’s little ex-stepsister, as his own “lil sis”, and absorbing Scarlet’s gang of friends, who don’t seem uppity anymore.
There’s a lot of support, even from unexpected quarters, like Creighton Karas and Silas Bohannon, and all help lead into the spectacular finale where I almost bit my cuticles through. This was the perfect final book of a trilogy. Where lessons were learned, plans came through, and good beats evil. The plot was fantastic, the characters all shone, this book was full of goodwill, of goodness and determination. It was very uplifting in spite of the tension.
