He would take her to the fucking stars…if she’d only let him. Victoria’s life is the epitome of organized. Every moment in her day is planned, which means she doesn’t have room for a social life. She doesn’t have room for love. When she finds herself trapped in the library during a blizzard, she’s stressed because it throws a wrench in her plans. She needs to be working on her thesis. She … be working on her thesis. She doesn’t need to be thinking about the librarian. Besides, he doesn’t want her there. To him, she’s nothing but a distraction. Worse, she knows it.
Graham might work in the library, but he isn’t exactly a good boy. He’s rough around the edges and he’s had his eye on Victoria for a long time. He’d do almost anything to make her come apart beneath him. He wants to dominate her, but she’s much too sweet, much too innocent for him Still, when a snowstorm traps them together, it’s as if fate as brought them together.
But there’s more to Victoria than meets the eye.
And the lovely grad student might not be ready for someone quite so….feisty.

Engaging story. This is a story of Victoria and Graham, whose character is interesting, as during the day he is a helpful librarian, by night, on the other hand, a Dom in a BDSM club. Victoria and he are one night locked in the library due to a storm and begin to have a titillating interest in each other. In the clear light of the morning though, Victoria panics and flees the scene. Without giving the plot away, they both experience a loss and they will be given the chance to meet again. It was a sweet story, an easy page-turner which can be read quite quickly. There is a HEA which they both deserve. I liked the writing style and I can recommend this quick read without reservation.

The Feisty Librarian is a stand alone, contemporary romance, with connections to Ms. Stern’s Anchored series. When a snowstorm strands Victoria and Graham in the library overnight, they make a passionate connection that leaves them both wanting more, and a little scared. Victoria gets a surprising second chance with Graham, but is she brave enough to open her heart to him and his lifestyle?
I have to admit, I’m more familiar with Ms. Stern’s paranormal series, but I had a lot of fun reading this book! I loved the connection you could feel between Victoria and Graham, but I really enjoyed that they had a rocky start. Like real life, more than just a connection is needed to make a relationship work. Victoria is studious and driven, but hates commitment and confrontation. I liked how she had to come out of her own shell to find out what matters most in her life, and if Graham could be part of her future. Graham essentially has two lives, being a librarian and being a Dominant, and I loved that both aspects of himself helped him charm and process the whirlwind that Victoria brings. He also had to learn to open up his heart to the possibility of love and hurt, if it came to that. The main drama in this book is really just seeing if they are compatible and willing to face their future together. Their connection was intense and steamy and a decadent slice that you don’t want to miss!
3.5 stars.
Not really sure what I was expecting going into this story but this wasn’t really it. I liked the characters though but I felt like this story needed more at the end. Graham was definitely an alpha male but also a great guy/librarian.
I was honestly expecting things to go differently in the library overnight but instead the author has other ideas for Graham and Victoria. There relationship moved quickly to me and I wish I got a little more about the future; especially since Victoria seemed to have no idea what she wanted to do, which job she wanted to take or what she really wanted in life.
I did like the little humor thrown in there towards the end.
I thought Holly was a good character but she kinda disappeared after going to the club. Kinda wonder what her thoughts would be on Graham and Victoria’s relationship?
Quick read and definitely steamy! Not sure if I will read anything else from this author though.
Graham is alibrarian and also a dom, and he has had his eye on Victoria. Victoria is a planner and has her life mapped out and does not want a social life. They get stuck in the library during a blizzard. Then Victoria goes to Anchored a club where she meets Graham again,Master Teddy. This is a great book with great characters and it is presented in a great way. Great characters that you could really love.

Victoria has her life mapped out and it doesn’t include a social life, but when her plans are ruined and she is stuck at the library during a blizzard, sparks begin to fly between her and sexy librarian Graham. This is a fast-paced steamy read with lots of drama and emotion. Great characters and an entertaining intense read. I really liked it.
A good heated story that grabs you from the first page. There is quite a bit going on in the story besides the romance including some drama and danger. I so enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more by Sophie Stern.

Well if librarians were like Graham, I would still be a member! Graham is very protective and dominating of Victoria. He is understanding and gentle to her insecurities. Enjoyable. A good read.

Holy hotness! I was pulled into this story the moment I started reading. Page after page I couldn’t stop, the connection and energy the characters felt was pouring thru the pages.
Sweetly romantic
Yes, there is talk of Graham dominating Victoria – of making her forget to be so in control, but this is by no means a BDSM focused novella. This is a very sweet romantic story where the roles are slightly reversed – Graham being the librarian as well as the one holding out, afraid for his heart. Not that Victoria does not have her own fears to face. Sophie Stern did well in making the reader feel part of the inner emotional world of these characters – especially given the shorter length of this book.
In all a very satisfying read.

Loved it!
First of all, Victoria is precious- if a lot stubborn, LOL! I adored her dynamic with the main male character, Graham. At times it was adorable and other times it was sweltering hot!
It’s so refreshing to see a Dom that isn’t incredibly creepy and over bearing.
I also appreciated the time put into explaining the rules and protocol when it comes to BDSM. It’s definitely not a complete guidebook, and you should always do research of your own but it’s definitely refreshing. It showed the amount of time and trust that can and should go into a power exchange type of relationship.
Definitely will keep an eye on this author!!

Completely and utterly taken captive by this story! It was EVERYTHING!!! This story was completely addictive and intoxicating from the very first page, and I never wanted it to end. SO MUCH ALPHA! Graham was the librarian in a small town, he loved his job but most times he felt unseen.. invisible to most. Victoria was an educator and she was working on her Masters and the library was the one place she can get the most done without interruptions and Graham and Victoria notice each other an attractions from the start but neither would acknowledge it until one night of studying she gets locked in the basement during a storm and Graham finds her giving them the chance to get know each other better. Well after that night in the basement Graham doesn’t hear from Victoria again she pretty much just left him without any indication, information, and no communication. She is invited by her friend to go to Anchored and yes of course she runs into the one person she didn’t expect Graham and she leaves with a very sore bottom compliments of her being a brat and stubbornness. She wanted to take care of Graham give him what he gave to her and he refused if she wasn’t all the one in then he wasn’t willing to accept anything less. I love her best friend who did the job as a best friend should in other words a true best friend will call you out when you are being a little stupid in that best friend way once Victoria realized how silly she was being and apologized to Graham but will it be enough for him ….will he accept her apology and will they find their HEA?

SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION!!!
Sassy minx! Sophie rocks the beat, spinning this incredible, mind-blowing, chart topping, delight that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. A tightly coiled vortex of inadvertent contingencies and daunting events, blasts this baby to life beautifully. Action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, block buster, blazing a path and seizing the reigns, running the show, throwing this little fella into a tailspin with a startling culmination. The attraction and chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. Combating the drama, intrigue, tension, danger and soaring suspense, keeping you riveted on a razors edge. Add turmoil, distress and perplexing situations along with a boatload of trouble, blasts this baby to a whole new level. The characters are authentic and realistic with qualities and traits that blend into outstanding personalities. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Fantastic job Sophie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I really liked the role reversal and that Graham was the librarian. A very enjoyable read.
It all starts with one little snow storm and then heats up to melt everything
*** 4 1/2 Stars ***
The Feisty Librarian is really not feisty but instead is majorly edgy and dominant. The feisty one is actually Victoria, a college student who meets the librarian, Graham. This story is a little edgy and kinky but not full on. It is really a story about a young woman and an older man who start on a journey together after being locked in the library together during a snow storm. He realizes that night that she is submissive but does not know about the life. While she is attracted to him and would not mind playing. He will have to teach her and realizes that he will not be able to rush her into being his sub but instead will have to explore at her pace and accept what her boundaries are.
I liked this story and found it to be a very enjoyable and engaging read. The characters of Graham and Victoria were very interesting and the way their romance/relationship was written was very believable. I would recommend this book to others.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Victoria is very organized when it comes to her life. She’s in the basement of the library looking for a book that will help with her thesis and is hoping to find it and get done before the snowstorm hits. However luck is not on her side. Graham doesn’t know that she is down there when he starts hitting the lights off but when he hears her beating on the door he immediately opens it. Graham is the librarian and wasn’t expecting to get caught in the storm especially with a gorgeous young woman. Victoria is stunned by Graham and attracted and once she finds out he is single she is open to whatever may happen. Things heat up between them but never go too far. Victoria’s friend takes for to a sex club and she is surprised when she is introduce to a Dom and its Graham. Will Graham claim Victoria for his sub? Can Victoria see he is the one for her?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

And a Half Stars
Can I just say that I loved this book and that it was different from what I was expecting, in a very good way. Graham is a strong, sexy, powerful man. He is passionate about his job as a librarian and it is at the library that he meets his match. Victoria is smart and sexy, she is hardworking and determined to complete her education. She is older than most students and works hard at trying to improve herself. She’s attracted to Graham and they spend one night together locked in the library during a snowstorm. Unable to face her attraction to him, she runs away. She can run but she can’t hide as the two are fated to meet again and to get their much deserved, sexy, happily ever after. TBR this book, it’s one helluva a sexy read.
