Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.
Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

This book was great.
I really wanted to like this. However the dialog of the characters felt forced and unrelatable.
Warning: get your tissues ready. I knew this book was going to be emotional, but I wasn’t fully prepared.
Hazel Grace is a 16 year old, only child, who has been diagnosed with cancer. She has essentially been given a death sentence. Her doting parents have made it their life mission to provide the best life they can with what time she has left. …
Very enjoyable book. There were times I laughed out loud and other times I was reaching for a tissue.
A tragic teen romance where characters grapple with terminal illness.
The thing about ‘ The fault in our stars’ is that it manages to tackle something as sensitive as cancer without being too cheesy. It doesn’t aspire to inspire or motivate, it just narrates a story and a very good one, mind you. This book was the “real kind”. Not only was it a tragic love story but it was also a book that teaches you wonderful life …
After reading dozens of WIP every month, I can tell how hard it is to keep reading, to keep turning the pages, to flow along the lines the author wrote. Ever since I joined critique groups, which is more than two years ago as I write it, I realized what makes a book readable. And subconsciously or consciously, I end up judging a book, not based on …
I found this book when I was working with teens and there were many copies floating around. I found it to be endearing and a great representation for disabled teens.
This isn’t my first book I have read by John Green. I read Looking for Alaska first. So, I was really anticipating a great read when reading The Fault In Our Stars. Once again, this book didn’t disappoint. This book follows Hazel who has lung cancer and her adventure with Augustus Waters who was in remission when Hazel met him. This book had major …
I felt really sad for the people in the book and would give it a 9/10!
I read this book during my son’s battle with cancer. John Green’s characters helped me as a mom see my son’s illness from his perspective. In the end I was able to let my son make his own medical decisions that were best for him for his life. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story and evolving characters.
Isaiah is everything. This is a balance of funny and tragic. I’m here for it.
I absolutely love this book, I read it a few years ago and watched the movie and still to this day the characters are so wonderful and such a beautiful bittersweet story line! 🙂
Great book
A truly moving story, I believe this is the first book that has ever made me cry!!
This is one of the most engaging books I’ve ever read. I loved it.
I ABSOLUTELY love this book with all my heart I have read it many times and it is just phenomenal!!!
I love this book. it made me laugh at times. I liked the relationship she had with her mother. and the romance with Gus was so sweet.
This is my all-time favorite book!! I love everything about it, especially the realism portrayed throughout the book. If you love witty and funny, yet heart-wrenching and emotional reads, this one’s definitely for you. 🙂
This book was beautiful, but heart-wrenching. It was excellent and Hazel and Augustus’ relationship was not rushed at all like some other books I’ve read. It went at its own pace, not too slow or descriptive but not too fast or rushed either. I highly recommend it if you’ve read Twilight (Twilight saga book 1) or Glimpse (Retroact saga book 1) or …
