This book was a fun read. It is pure escapism which is something we all enjoy sometimes.
I really did like to story and the writing style…but I have to admit I hate cliff hangers. My problem, not yours.
The book was a great story. It let me purchase the 2nd book, which was also great. I wanted to purchase the 3rd book, but for some reason, it wouldn’t allow me to do it. I even tried looking it up on amazon, but no luck there.
The entire series is great
For I found this to be a slow read. Maybe it’s just me. If the book doesn’t catch and hold my attention with in the first few pages I will stop reading. To me it was slow and dragged.
This was a fascinating book, but the sexual content was too graphic for me to recommend it. I was interested enough in the story line that I read more in the series and they became increasingly graphic. I was disappointed.
Great start to the series
I’ve only partially read this story which as the dithering by the main character caused me to loose interest. This is likely due to my preferences.
It was a good story. It got a little preachy at times.
It had charm and a good plot as well as serviceable writing. It was exciting in places and the imagined world was well conceived.
Fascinating
This was a great read with the unexpected twist that the girl was really not the farrier’s daughter but the daughter of a witch who lived in the forest.
I really enjoyed this book so much I was enticed into purchasing the continuing volume. Fun stuff.!
A good introduction to The Irish Witch Series. Not only did U read this but also the next 4 books in the series and can’t wait for numbers 6 & 7. Warning these books do not conclude but leave you wanting the next book !
It read like a first draft. It was awful.
A journey back in time to knights, witches, family secrets and a curse that will leave you wanting more.
A fun read. Good escape.
Didn’t finish it- just didn’t catch me.
I have read the series and totally enjoyed them.
This is one in the series. Just felt in finished
