I just finished re-reading this…it’s so good, I pulled it back off my bookshelf for a second read! Although it’s not a sequel, I haven’t read the first book and that was no problem. I still understood the whole story, and enjoyed the characters and their stories. If you are a dog lover, you will definitely love this story! The main characters are twins who are in different seasons of life. Wanting to support one another while still living their best life is a struggle, and it’s one that many of us can relate to! The story keeps you engaged and wanting to know what’s next. I found this to be a quick read- started and finished it in one day (vacation day!) This book is a great read, and includes a couple of tasty Amish recipes at the end. I highly recommend it!
This is a great book the characters are so real in the book. I could not put it down.
This story by Wanda was a light hearted Amish romance. It’s a story about a twin sister who finally finds love and overcomes all obstacles to be happy. I enjoyed this book!
Finished this book around 3 this morning. I just loved it. The story of twins, one married and expecting and the other thinking she will be an old maid. Meeting men is hard, and when they are from another town far away it even harder, how can she leave her sister who is expecting her first baby? This story will grab you from the start and hold on till you finish!
I thoroughly enjoyed looking in on Elma and Thelma again. They are very well developed and presented. It was fun seeing how Thelma and her husband Joseph have moved on with their lives since the end of the first book in the series. The bond that the twins have is a little strained because of the natural distance with this change. Yet their love for each other is the same.
I found the differences in the men that come into Elma’s life very clear and easy to pick up. It was fun to see how her relationship with each of them progressed. I knew from early in the book who I wanted her to end up with.
I received a free eBook copy of this story through NetGalley. I have chosen to write this review to express my personal opinion.
