My new motorcycle riding soulmate is half-demon, half-witch and all douche.A douche who hates my other three soulmates. He’s a tattooed bad boy with a bad attitude, and he’s definitely not into thrice-married me with four kids under four. He’s also in desperate need of an erectile dysfunction spell. Seems the dickhead can only get hard when I’m around.Owning a potion shop, running a coven of … running a coven of witches, and spending time with my four kids and their half-vampire, half-werewolf, and half-fae fathers is a lot–even for a superwoman like me. But if I have to give the demon asshole what he wants to get him to help with a spell for my cursed mother, I’ll do it.
Even if it means my family will never be complete, that the Oracle’s prediction of me having four soulmates, four husbands to share a life with, is all a lie … I’ll do it. And I’ll do it with my witch’s hat tipped, my little black dress pressed, and my broom in hand.
THE FAMILY SPELLS (THE FAMILY SPELLS #1 of 3) – this is a full-length, reverse harem, paranormal romance novel with a ‘why choose’ ending, meaning the main character gets a happily ever after with more than one man. It contains naughty scenes, magic, witches, demons, vampires, faeries, and werewolves as well as four unruly kids, spells for just about everything, and plenty of cursing.

******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
I feel like I’ve read about these wonderful characters before reading this book. I just can’t remember what book. I love the characters and chaos that is the family. Family chaos is something I can relate to. I have one true love so I can’t relate to Grace having 3 already and the 4th walking into their lives.
Hex is a half-witch half-demon that rides a motorcycle and is a total douche. Grace has ups and downs with Hex. Grace’s 3 husbands, Caine (half-witch half-wolf shifter), Spectre (half-witch half-vamprie), and Argent (half-witch half-fae) don’t like Hex at all. Unfortunately, they need Hex to help them work a spell. Things get crazy! At the end, all 5 of them are in Hael getting items for the spell when things get very bad. Hex gets summoned away, no idea were. A demon named Monster takes Grace, leaving her 3 husbands in Hael. That’s how it ends, a cliffhanger. But I need to to know what happens. Can’t wait for the next book!

Not The Usual RH
This was more of the what happens after and I am hoping we get a prequel from when they met and fell for one another, this is an established family who find the last piece.
The last soul mate is reluctant and this is an overwhelmed heroine trying to juggle this new discovery with motherhood, husbands, coven responsibilities and a mom who is ill, while I won’t further spoil the story I will say it was a refreshing view on a preffered genre.
I really got interested in wanting to reading this story after I read The Heart Catrip in the Love Potion Anthology. So with that being said I really like this book I like the whole concept of Grace and her 3 husbands. But found it to be really strange that her harem was already established with kids and all in the beginning of the story. Would’ve like some backstory on how the harem came together. I also like the unique idea of her potential mate He’s having a erectile dysfunction problem. It was freaking hilarious!!! Everything that he went through to try to fix the problem on his own. I definitely like the other mens in the harem as well they were all unique in their own ways. I especially like the constant tension between Hex and everyone. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read definitely not your typical PNR. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series.
Holy witch hats!!
If C.M. Stunich could please stop releasing so many epic books, that would be amazing. Just kidding, just kidding! I only say that because this book had me tied up in knots and threw me for a tailspin! And of course, now that the last page has been read (gasp!) and I am literally going to lose my mind waiting for the next book!!
Seriously epic storyline, amazing variety of sexy as hell characters. And that freakin ending, talk about unpredictable! I’m gonna need that next book out right about now, mkay?
Grace and her husband a awesomely developed chracters along with Hex. The storyline is amazingly detailed and entertaining. I love how Grace is older, which is refreshing compared to the usual 18 to early 20s main characters we normally see. I also love how she has kids and has to deal with the day to day life of motherhood along with the shop and coven duties she has. Fabulously written with all the drama, action and emotions you could want along with all the paranormal creatures and supernatural settings you could ask for. Thoroughly enjoyable read, pulled me out of my book slump a bit but now I’m waiting for book 2 to see where this story is going to go especially with that ending. I didn’t see any of the twists throughout this book coming and that kept me engaged throughout the story. I’m so excited to continue this series when book 2 releases!
If you’re a mom, who is into RH, considering RH, or who just wants a “mom” character to ACTUALLY be able to relate to in a romance book, then this. book. is. it. Like, I’m not even mad about the cliffhanger at the end of this book, because of how on point this novel is, and I mean, it’s a cliffie, a big one. So many people get hung up on cliffhangers, though, that it’s the only reason I feel the need to mention it. I get people not liking to wait for a series to be complete, but I genuinely think you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not reading this book ONLY because of that reason.
This story spoke to my soul as a mom who is 32 and the same age as the protagonist. It touches on everything moms face today in this tough @s$ world for moms today – mom-shaming, getting overwhelmed as a mom, feeling like a bad mom, and sometimes just needing time to enjoy yourself and your partner without feeling guilty, etc. The FMC in this book is a sassy, no fox given, unapologetic but not arrogant, strong character. Chuck in three husbands and four kids, and wow, she’s a freaking super mom, even though she doesn’t feel that way. This book was so on point for a whole demographic of women who I, personally, feel get overlooked. As much as I love a lot of the RH and romance novels, sometimes it feels that no matter how cutting, how sassy, how funny, etc, the FMCs are, it feels like once you have kids, all it really is just a fantasy because no one writes about moms. In a lot of ways, you can enjoy the characters you read, but you can’t totally relate to them, or you don’t feel like you relate to them anymore (i.e. that you feel like you might have been BFF’s with them at a younger point in your life). I enjoyed this book because it was a as well-written and deliciously descriptive as all of the author’s other books, but I LOVED this book because it was about so much more than just a typical RH/romance novel. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing and how beyond being phenomenally entertaining the story really is. I am so looking forward to book 2 and seeing what this protagonist does.
This was a fantastic story with humor, magic, demons, sexy men and steamy times. The whole story and it’s characters are amazing as we have all come to expect from C.M. Stunich and this story too is completely engrossing just like all her others. Grace is such a great character and not one you would expect. She’s a mom of four, dealing with a hectic schedule, chaotic emotions and all. But she just happens to be a witch and has three hot, half witch husbands, and then Hex stumbles into her shop. Things get interesting when Grace’s fourth soulmate comes out of nowhere and fights it every set of the way. Hex’s life just got complicated, well more complicated and he’s fighting to figure out what is right for him, what path to follow, but he’s hurting Grace in the process. I’m too of all this, there is a more pressing matter, Grace’s mother is dying due to a curse and Hex’s participation is the only thing that might save her. Oh my goddess, this is a fantastic story that I strongly tell at you to READ, you won’t regret it! And with an ending like that, I can’t wait for the next book!!!
