The finale to a great series is finally here. I enjoyed each book and how it all ends. We get to see all the characters finish this intense journey. Grace is trying to live the life she chose but not everything works out as dreamed. She’s once again faced with difficult problems and has to learn how to choice what’s best for her. Grace is finally acting mature and thinking out her problems; she’s not longer running but instead stepping up to the challenges life throws at her. Ian is now in a place where he has realized he can’t just numb his pain away. Ian has finally learned from his past mistakes and is at a good point in his life, he is content with where his life has ended up at; or so he thinks. Michelle and Jaden each get the ending they chose and it’s great how we get much more of them in this book as they are well developed. As for how it all ends, let’s just say they all work hard for their ending. Overall, I really enjoyed how it all comes to be and look forward to more books from this author
I needed to read this one after having read the previous two. This author has the talent to take us with the characters giving us a overload as she weaves the story. Sewing the emotions that will go with it all takes it and brings it together. Grace stays up front with us seeing all of her. Since we are a range of emotions it is only fitting that she be that too which brings her to life. Fabulous just fabulous is what this one leaves you with.
Man!! This was a beautifully written, heart wrenching story! I may have she’d a few tears on this one. 🙂 The journey these characters have been through, and the ending of their overall story…all I can say is WOW. So good. Give the entire series a read, for sure.
Good gravy this series makes you feel all of the emotions. I’m so glad in ended the way it did! Grace is now a married woman. Her new husband Ben is quite the catch almost to good to be true. Then he goes back to work and the “honeymoon” is over. He’s gone for months at a time, leaving Grace all alone. Finally Ben admits to cheating on her. Then her life has to begin again. She goes through the motions of life but is not really living it till a blast from the past shows up randomly in places. Maybe love does find a way.
The Falling of Hope is book three in this series. Grace is an adult and married in the beginning. Surprise! It’s definitely not Ian either. Ben is fabulous for a time, but when the new wears off, some serious reality sets in and things go downhill. Their marriage is a wreck and ends. Kudos to Grace for being an adult and trying to make it work, although it doesn’t happen for them. Grace has a pretty difficult time for a while as she struggled. I can see where someone would struggle with self image and a feeling of confusion after divorce. But to be hones, I think I connect more with Grace’s sister than Grace in this one. She and Ian run into each other continually. It’s weird how much. The ending is very satisfying and sweet. The last part of the book kind of fell off a bit though. And fair warning, there are some large time gaps in this book. Otherwise, it was a good ending to the series
I love this series so hard! Grace had a beautiful wedding, but was it what she wanted? She had the perfect husband for a year and a half. But could they make it work? Just as she is getting back to where she wants to be, her life is turned upside down, again. (But in a good way.) I highly recommend this series.
