What a great read! This book picks up right where the first book left off. Everything is well paced and well written. The book does have some twists and turns you don’t expect. Ian and Grace are attempting to see if they can give their love another chance. Grace is still running from her problems rather than facing them and trying to push her emotions away with impulsive behavior. Ian is keeping secrets and not communicating as he should. Ian want to stay with Grace but is unwilling to discuss all aspects of his life. They each start off wanting closure but their love is still strong even after all these years. Jaden and Michelle are still here and you see how they have grown up. Michelle is my favorite hands down and has her head in the right place compared to everyone else. Jaden definitely love/hate that guy, he seems to only have his ownself in mind. You see every character develop for has they get older. Each character is so well written. And once again this book ends with a cliffhanger of sorts. You’re left wanting to know is this the end and where will Ian & Grace end. Definitely looking forward to how the series ends.
I love the books that make me cry as long as I like the ending . This author has done it again! Wow what an emotional roller coaster. Such a good story. Start with book one and then come here!! You won’t regret it!
Good follow up to book one. Lots of twists and turns and turmoil.
Omg the twists and turns this book takes. I like the story but I don’t like what’s happening in this book! I’m super sad at what happened. I’m on book 3 now because it has to work out between two of the characters! It can’t end the way Book 2 did!!!
Obviously this is a book 2. You need to read book 1 to understand. And this is set 5 years after book 1.
I have fallen in love with this series. Ian and Grace have a chaotic and tragic love story. They love each other dearly but outside influences take precedence over their love. And then there is the introduction of Ben McKay. This book had happiness, sorrow, pain, and regret. That ending gutted me. I cannot wait until the next book in the series.
Wanting to continue on with Grace I got into this one too. She does surround you with what is going on with her. Her and Ian do like to wrap you up in their lives with you thinking it finally will be on the right one but it soon will twist you up again. She pulls out all the stops on this one getting under your skin and over it. Just when you think you are whole get ready to be torn again.
I love Grace and Ian – the storyline hooks you in, feeling everything that they go through. This picks up after Book One. There are definitely some moment when you think did they just do that. You see Ian and Grace work though thing and try to work out their relationship with everything that has happened.
Grace is speechless seeing Ian at the coffee shop, but that soon turn to anger when she also learns that Jayden knew where Ian was the whole time, and denied it . Ian is persistent in getting Grace to listen to him explaining that he wants her forever but needs to return to pack up his house.
Grace can’t wait for Ian to return to Paris and decides to go to him, when she reaches his home she is speechless and ends up at Jayden’s. Grace starts to go off the rails going out every night and ends up with Jayden and her sister having to pick her up from hospital.
Ian is still searching for Grace in Paris, while Grace is in the states and turns to painting and meets a very attractive Gallery owner who is persistent about dating her.
The ending finishes with a twist and can’t wait to read the next book.
Grace and Ian’s story continues and is full of angst, suspense, sadness, love and a happily ever after. But whose happily ever after? Read this amazing series and find out!
