When Colin Cavendish, the new earl of Drayson, informs Lucy Beresford that she and her mother need to vacate the house they’ve called home for the past two years, Lucy is fit to be tied. They have no money, no relations they can turn to for help, and nowhere to go. How dare the earl break the promise his father had made to the Beresfords without so much as a twinge of conscience?Fate plays her … plays her hand when Lucy discovers the earl unconscious and injured in the middle of the road. When he awakens with no recollection of who he is, Lucy seizes the opportunity to teach the earl a much-needed lesson in humility and tells him that he is nothing more than a mere servant. Her servant, in fact.
And thus begins the charming tale of a pompous lord and an impetuous young woman, caught together in a web so tangled that it begs the question: Will they ever get out?

This was a fun and easy read. The story was cute, but predictable. I would read another by this author.
I enjoyed this book very much. Loved the way the characters were described.
I really enjoyed this book. I found myself laughing out loud several times, and enjoyed the characters.
Excellent! I love a romance novel with no sex!
Funny and entertaining. Like it a lot.
I absolutely love this whole book series
Just lots of good reading !!
Enjoyable read… She starts out hating the man she’ll eventually love…
Good enough for if you are bored but nothing special. The development of character’s feelings for each other felt forced
Suitable for everyone. H&h made for each other. Obvious to everyone but them
Great book definitely recommend reading.
I truly enjoyed reading this story because the heroine was so witty and resourceful.
Towards the end, the story seemed to drag as though the author were trying to lengthen it, as opposed to the length being what it is because of the story. I became impatient with the pace. Otherwise, good storytelling.
fun characters who triumph in the end
Lucy and Colin had great chemistry together.I really enjoyed reading this book it was funny entertaining and kept you interested in what happen to the characters.
This was an entertaining romance novel.
A delightful romp, throughly enjoyed!
I didn’t finish this book,bI couldn’t even make it through the the chapter. I have no idea if the story became any less contrived, and had no desire to persevere and find out. Nothing about the story or characters engaged my interest.
Sweet, fun romance. Got a little slow at the end, but a nice happily ever after ending.
This truly unrealistic fairy tale was a fun quick read. Fun!
So whimsical!
