From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a new deliciously dangerous alpha hero in The Fall of Legend, the first book in the brand new and utterly addictive Legend trilogy. We come from two different worlds.I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower.I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch. Our paths never should have crossed. We never … punch.
Our paths never should have crossed.
We never should have met.
That doesn’t change the facts.
I would sell my soul to taste those red lips.
Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh.
Burn in hell to have a single night.
Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will.
If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.

If you’re an avid reader of Meghan March stories, you know that she creates such fantastically complex heroes – ones who may not always be on the right side of the law, but always work for the betterment of himself, even if it requires some untoward behavior. What I like most about March’s newest leading man is that his complexity comes with him dealing with things that are out of his control…his past…his guilt…his motivation to do better to be better. And, I appreciate his flaws and his need to prove himself.
Scarlett Priest may not have come from Legend’s world, but she is bound and determined to be in it. She’s risk taker…a woman who knows what she wants, and I can’t wait to see just how far she’s willing to go in order to claim everything she has in her sights.
Because The Fall of Legend is book one in Meghan March’s new Legend Trilogy, there’s a lot to layout for readers in the onset, which means that there’s a large amount of world and character building required to allow readers to truly visualize where the story takes place and gain insight about who the hero and heroine were and who they are meant to be when they finally come together.
4 Poison Apples
This is a page-turner!
Gabriel Legend is a serious alpha male, with some mystery and sexiness that makes you want to love him without question but also want to know all his secrets.
Scarlett is young, popular and very influential. However, she is not happy.
They meet, the sparks that ignite between them make them question the past, present and future!
I can’t wait for Book 2 to learn more!!
4.5 Stars for this SLOW Burn Romance with an incredibly tortured alpha, that breaks all his rules for the right woman!
Scarlett is a social media influencer. She helps others to create the perfect posts to share with their followers. And if she loves it…it sells! Her life seems perfect. She’s gorgeous, successful, comes from money and has the preppy boyfriend to match. She even thinks her life is great until she meets Gabriel Legend.
Their meeting is unconventional. His club is going under and he needs her help to revive it. She should feel intimidated by him, but all she feels is a sizzling attraction.
What seemed like the perfect everything, just got obliterated with one meeting.
Scarlett is ready to live. She’s tired of living for hat everyone else sees or wants. She’s willing to work her butt off to give Gabe what he needs and in the process she hopes to get the man too.
The chemistry and sexual tension were HOT! Gabe has ghosts that haunt him and weigh him down. He’s trying to run from his past and make sure he takes nothing else down with him if he falls. He just never expected his fall to come at the hands of Scarlett. Gabe struggles with what he wants and what he feels is the right thing to do for her. He’s willing to sacrifice what he wants most to keep her safe. I cannot wait for book two! I’m hooked on Gabriel Legend.
3.5 stars for – Fall of Legend – book one in the Legend Trilogy by Meghan March. Book two – House of Scarlett will be out in December 2019 and book three – The Fight for Forever – will be out in January 2020. Scarlett Priest is the ultra successful daughter of a supermodel and a high-profile businessman who chose to forge her own path instead of following in either one of her parents footsteps and became a social media influencer and style icon. Scarlett opened her own store in New York where she excels at what she does having made a name for herself in the industry.
Gabriel Legend grew up dirt poor in Biloxi, MS and fled shortly after hurricane Katrina. When he arrived in New York he used his fists and survival skills to make a living in the cage. He ran a underground fight club with dreams of going legit once he finally had enough money. Gabe opened a upscale, elite club that never had the chance to take off because of an incident that occurred on opening night. He needs a miracle and she just fell into his office in the most unexpected of ways.
This book has so much potential and I seriously can’t wait to read the next two books. Once they finally got together it was great but the waiting was what was killing me! I have long been a fan of this author’s work and it hurts me giving it a three star rating but this book was slow paced with no real interaction between the H/h and I hated reading how they aren’t right for each other over and over again. Many connections and characters were introduced that show great promise to turn this into an awesome story so I’m betting books two and three will be amazing!
I AM OBSESSED WITH LEGEND! I cannot WAIT for the next book. I need more!
I might need to extend the star rating for the next two instalments of this trilogy, because The Fall of Legend was OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS!!
I’m so sure Meghan March secretly likes to destroy us while reading her incredible novels; there’s just no way of being able to miss the rest after getting a taste.
Gabriel Legend is used to living in a different world, one that he’s had to fight for everything he’s always dreamed of. However having fists of steel can only get you so far.
Scarlet Priest is a well known socialite, someone everyone wants to follow or be.
When their paths collide, there’s no denying the temptation that lingers – even if it’s wrong.
What a build up, and the rawness of the characters felt so real. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is, indeed, only the beginning of something extraordinary. Bring on House of Scarlett – book two!!
This comes highly recommended.
Every time I read a Meghan March book, the one thing I am positive about is there will be strong characters. There will definitely Alpha heroes and strong heroines.
The men you lay at our feet are full throttle. They encompass every attribute women don’t even know they want. Strong, sexy, authoritative and Gabriel Legend is all of that!
The women are dedicated, and loyal to their men. Truly the definition of being your ride or die. Scarlett Priest is all of that.
Though as opposite as night and day, Legend and Scarlett bond and with that bonding comes a ride we are not soon to forget. I am on the edge of my seat awaiting the next book!
4.5 Stars
I have come to love Meghan’s writing style and characters over the years of reading. I love how she draws me in from the very beginning and has my full attention until I have finished the book. Even knowing that with these trilogy’s she is going to leave me hanging, begging for more now instead of later. Once again that was the case with Gabriel and Scarlett.
Gabriel has worked his way from nothing in Biloxi to fighting his way through the underground in New York. In an push to finally be on the legal side of things opening the dream club. Only thing is that isn’t working out quite like it was planned and he needs something to draw in the crowd again. The disaster of a grand opening has him sinking fast.
Scarlett has had life given to her on a silver platter, if you ignore the father who really wanted a son to take over his empire. With the fame of her high fashioned mother, she has created her dream job and doing pretty damn good at it. Finding gems that others are missing out on and showing them how to make them work in their space. She also uses her socialite status to help draw attention from time to time.
Gabriel and Scarlett’s meeting was anything but conventional. There is instant intrigue and curiosity between these two from opposite ends of the spectrum. Scared but also a little wiling to see if she can do as asked, she is going to try and bring life back to the Legend. Gabe or Scar never dreamed that the chemistry between them would have such a pull. Pushing them both way beyond the comfort zone.
Can Scarlett save the Legend? Will Gabe be able to keep his distance? Is the media presence putting them in danger? What will happen next? I need to know now…….

Meghan March has done it again. A strong heroine and an utterly human, injured man.
He’s not broken, but he has not and cannot heal. His past will meet his present but he knows not when. He must not succumb to his needs and she is the finest temptation. She is everything he cannot have. Walk away Legend. Walk away.
She’s done being told what to do, being belittled and pleasing her father. At the cost of what? She will put it all on the line for the man who kidnapped her. Yes, kidnapped. She can’t stay away and she wants a taste. She wants more. He’s nothing like she’s ever met before but that won’t stop her. He’s sin and sex and freedom.
There is something there neither can deny. It pulls and sparks. It’s more than just chemistry. She’s having fun and he’s smiling, for the first time in many years. But there is too much at stake…
I cannot wait for House of Scarlett!!
Another fantastic start to a trilogy from Meghan March. I can’t even describe how much I enjoyed this story. Gabriel Legend is the ultimate bad boy with demons, and secrets. We are left with a perfect cliffhanger, to definitely make you yearn for more. I cannot wait to see what is coming next.
I’m dying…I’M DEAD! Legend is EPIC! I’m not sure what I just read in the last 12hours but be sure of this…this trilogy is going to be Meghan’s best yet! I’m totally engrossed, captured, and BLOWN AWAY by Legend and Scarlett!!! Immediately, these two have a sparkling energy that drew me in. Separately and together, there’s so much to discover, to much of them to uncover as the story evolves. I NEED the next book in my grabby hands ASAP!! I cannot wait another month, my mind is spinning with what’s next!!
Meghan March has totally ramped up her writing, storytelling and characters. Nothing is as it seems, nothing will be the same after that ending. Hot damn!!! House of Scarlett needs to be here now
This author’s writing is addictive and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book because it keeps me glued to my Kindle!! Gabriel is the ultimate alpha male with the right mix of tenderness thrown in there. And Scarlett is a bad a$$, feisty female that every woman strives to be. The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing and I can’t wait to devour the next book in this series!! This author leaves you with a cliffhanger that has you anticipating the next story and I am going to pick it up. I highly recommend this book!!
What a way to start a trilogy!!!!! Scarlett and Legend are just !!!! Talk about two people from completely opposite ends crossing paths with each other. Legend is so closed off and thinks that Scarlett is way above his league. Scarlet thinks the dangerous brooding hotness is bad for her but everything she needs and have been missing out in her life. These two have lots in common even though they don’t see it. There’s lots of obstacles and Legend demons doesn’t let him see a future with Scarlett. But she’s no wallflower and after that ending the ball is in Legend’s court because I don’t know what will happen and how Scarlett will overcome that hurt. I can’t wait!!!!
Before I pick up a story by Meghan March, I already know I am going to be not only entertained but also probably left scratching my head in total awe…or something. The Fall of Legend covers all those bases and then some. This is book one of the Legend Series. Let me say “that is a good thing” because how this story ends will have you thinking about that…or something… I spoke of.
He goes by Legend, and his history in the big city is well noted. What most don’t know about him is his compassion for others, his love of family, or his commitment to protecting those in his circle. In other words he is that strong alpha male that is so hard to find. One thing alphas alway have is the pizzazz on the outside that they use to cover the turmoil inside. He is no different, and his battle scars run deep.
Doesn’t the name Scarlett always bring up memories of some sort. Either good or bad, just saying her name does it. This Scarlett is underestimated power. Sometimes she doesn’t even know her own strengths. But for all the pluses we see, she too has skeletons of self-doubt in her closet. What a difficult life to live for someone adored by all her friends. But sometimes the stars align just right and all the pieces fall into place.
STOP! This is a Meghan March story, and as anyone who has read her stories should know, NOTHING is ever that easy. And just when you think all the pieces are coming together, that …or something… rears its ugly head. It left me cheering on this pair and now waiting for the next installment to be released. Captivating, and very powerful Meghan and well worth all the stars I can post. Well done!
The Fall of Legend is book one of this new series of Ms. March and man, I need the next book like yesterday!
Without giving away too much, we got introduced into this new intriguing world with characters of opposite backgrounds; a hero with a dark past and a strong, feisty heroine- their intense chemistry enough to heat up my e-reader. With the way things end, I hope I don’t have long to wait because this girl needs to know what happens next, gah! A definite must read for every romance lovers. Loved it!
The Fall of Legend, book one in Legend Trilogy, by Meghan March is a very intriguing book filled with sexual tension, raw chemistry, and a deep longing. Scarlett and Gabriel’s story completely hooked me from the very first page and left with a broken heart and unanswered questions.
“You’ll always be what I want most. But I can’t have you.”
I love the role reversal in a relationship developing between Scarlett and Gabriel. Where the hero, although being very protective, dangerous, strong and ambitious was a very vulnerable and closed man. His tragic past has a great hold of his current actions and people he let get closer to him. And the more he pushes Scarlett off the more she pulls him in.
Scarlett is a very assertive and smart woman. She worked really hard on her success and own brand but there is one thing she craves the most, her father’s approval. But meeting Gabe, the feelings and needs he evoked in her, gave her the courage to go after a man she really wanted. I loved how, with a little help from her friends, Scarlett changed into a confident woman.
The Fall of Legend is a great start of the Meghan March new trilogy. The author gave us a little insight into Gabriel and Scarlett’s past, their issues and hopes. The consequences of heroes’ actions and dangers are lurking around the corner and I can’t wait to read what patch the author will take with Scarlett and Gabe’s story.
I think I may have just found my favorite Meghan March hero! There’s something about a self-made man from the wrong side of the tracks that instantly makes me fall.
I think part of the draw I have to Gabriel Legend is that, even after the first installment of this book, he’s still such a mystery to me. I want to know more about him and find out all of his secrets. He’s brooding, standoffish, dangerous, and insanely sexy. And deep down, he’s a good man who’s been on the receiving end of some bad luck.
Scarlett is the lightness to Gabriel’s darkness. she’s business-savvy, as well as determined and independent. She’s also a social butterfly through and through. But her bubbly and bright personality helps hide her own moments of unhappiness. And it isn’t until she meets the mysterious Gabriel Legend that she realizes just how unhappy she truly is.
This story is the beginning of something great. The more we delve into Gabriel, the more I know he’s only going to get more amazing as the story goes on. And Scarlett is a breath of fresh air from the beginning that’s fun to watch take ownership over her own happiness. Cliffhanger haters beware: this is a standard Meghan March trilogy, which means we have a long way to go to get our happy ending. But man, does she make it a fun ride. I highly recommend this book.
The Fall of Legend reminds me of the early years of our current romance resurgence—it’s got that feeling of impending big drama and big romance but flipped– in earlier years men were the all powerful and women were fighting to get a foothold in the power structure. Now, Legend is the one trying to gain power and Scarlett is the one who seemingly holds the power. I love it. Taking all the things that those books in the early 20-teens and modernizing it made it a fun read.
Another thing that made this a fun read? The humor. Take the first scene–it was an interesting mix of intrigue and humor—Bump is endearing and sweet and hilarious–and yet WTF was going on with someone being rolled up in a carpet?! I was officially hooked. I wanted to more of Legend and Bump and Scarlett.
Legend and Scarlett did not disappoint. He was broody and intense and on a mission to prove a few things or perhaps find redemption by being a success. She was confident and bright and had nothing to prove to anyone and I loved her for that …and her business (what a brilliant idea, Meghan March!). I’m so ready to see how these two battle the obstacles that March is going to create for them.
This first book sets us up for the drama to come and I am so here for it–a furious ex, not so good family dynamic, and a public image to uphold on one side, and a past trying to catch up to a a present, a present that’s in economic peril on the other. And the most important: a fledgling romance that’s on shaky ground. Get to writing Meghan March, we need more of this brooding Legend and his lovely Scarlett.
This book is hands down the best book Meghan March has wrote and by far one if the best books I have read, one the first word the book played in my head like a movie and that has never happened to me before, you will fall in love with the hero heroine and the side characters
I can’t say enough about this book. It’s different. Refreshing. Meanwhile, Gabriel and Scarlett’s story has all things I love from Meghan March. Great plot. Original, colorful characters. Steam. And one hell of a wild ride. This is one of my favorite series ever.
