From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a new deliciously dangerous alpha hero in The Fall of Legend, the first book in the brand new and utterly addictive Legend trilogy. We come from two different worlds.I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower.I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch. Our paths never should have crossed. We never … punch.
Our paths never should have crossed.
We never should have met.
That doesn’t change the facts.
I would sell my soul to taste those red lips.
Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh.
Burn in hell to have a single night.
Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will.
If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.

Loved it, the story line was interesting and different and the characters were a wonderful mix of sweet and innocent and hot alpha.
Meghan March doesn’t disappoint!

I feel so lucky to have recieved this Arc copy. I’ve been waiting for this book for a while and was very eager to get started on it.
I rate this book 4 stars. The first chapter had me hooked til the very last page. With a surprising cliffhanger, this book did not disappoint. Recommended to anyone who enjoys reading:
Bad boy
Slow burn
Opposite attracts
Gabriel Legend is tortured and overwhelmed, with the weight if the world on his shoulders. He has a shady past I’m intrigued to know more about.
Scarlet is a socialite that lives a glamorous lifestyle. Shes a social media influencer with a big following. I loved reading the growth of her character throughout this book.
Our hero and heroine are two completely different people. They’re worlds apart; ” . .” As they say opposites attract, and boy was their chemistry off the charts! From their very first meeting there was an instant attraction, to the slow burn that made their connection worth the wait.
Book 1 of the Legend trilogy by Meghan March, written in dual pov, set in New York. Its sexy, emotional and full of suspense. I just know this series will be epic. I’m ready for the next one, bring it on!

I love Meghan March. She is so creative. She creates wonderful characters with depth. They are strong, sexy and dangerous too.
This book had it all for me. A slow-burn romance, hot MMA fighter, and a woman breaking free of her chains and living. I couldn’t get enough of Legend and Scarlett. Their beginning was unconventional but fit them. There is a lot of layers to each character that needs to be revealed but knowing Meghan they will be revealed at the right time and it will be a punch in the gut leaving us all breathless.
The heat between Legend and Scarlett burned up the pages. It was like a boiling pot of hotness. I couldn’t get enough of their growing relationship. I needed to know where it went. I cannot end this review without mentioning the side characters. They added so much to the story. Scarlett’s friends infused the story with humor and Legend’s added the intrigue. Can’t wait to continue reading this series.
Sexy tough as nails Gabe didn’t know he’d met his match in even tougher, wittier and totally untouchable socialite Scarlet. Some people have the perfect life… but then again, do they really. Totally swept away by this very unlikely romance.
Okay so, I truly don’t know how Meghan March could write any better. I truly don’t. All of the other books I’ve read by here have been extremely detailed with excellent description of the setting and all of her characters. But something feels extremely different about this book.
This book is so freaking crazy that it took me a few days to really sit and think about this review before I actually wrote it. We learn about our two main characters Gabriel Legend and Scarlett Priest and we set up the foundation for the next two books. These two main characters are two of my all-time favorite March characters. Gabriel Legend is my new book boyfriend. My god this man is something. He has such a rough and rugged exterior but he’s extremely sexy and also vulnerable. He is conscious of all the decisions he makes and all of the possible outcomes that could come out of them. Scarlett Priest, is the girl I aim to be like. She is so strong, confident, and successful and yet keeps to herself. She has drive and knows what she wants and how to get it. These two work so well together, I love the push and pull that they have with each other.
I cannot tell you guys enough how much I enjoy Meghan March’s writing, it is smooth, easy to read and quick to digest. Her storytelling abilities are just phenomenal, and they only got even better with this book. I don’t know how to explain it to you, but through this book I had to stop myself and say “WOW, how is this so good, what did she do differently this time?” When Meghan March said that this book was her best one, she is not kidding. I didn’t think it was possible for me to fall more in love with an author, but here we are.
I am so excited to get my hands-on book two!!
This is 100% a solid !
I received and eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wow! We’re off to a great start with this first of three book series.
Gabriel Legend is a hot as hell, rough around the edges, dark character with an intriguing past. Scarlett Priest is drop dead gorgeous and so far out of his league. But it doesn’t stop him wanting her. Or needing her help.
The narrators are fantastic and I can’t wait for more!
Ain’t no audiobook like a Meghan March audiobook! Once again March Madness has struck and she’s struck gold. The Fall of Legend was all things sexy, steamy, twisty, and thrilling.
I loved Scarlett. I can always count on a fierce heroine when I’m reading a Meghan March book and it’s one of the things I look forward to the most. The strength and sass was strong with this one and I loved it. Our hero, Gabriel, was sexy af. I found him a bit mellower than past heroes, but no less swoon worthy. The story flowed well, but seemed to be building steam for the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Narration as performed by Erin Mallon and Joe Arden. Need I say more? These are two powerhouse narrators and they only made Scarlett and Gabriel ever better. So excited for the next book! 4 stars.
Meghan March lures me in without fail! Every damn time. She’s a prolific author of fast paced and suspense filled romances that always feature a strong-willed heroine and the broodiest, protective hero. The Fall of Legend doesn’t deviate too much from this common form she’s established, but that doesn’t make this narrative, with all its new characters and situations any lesser.
“He’s menacing, raw, and otherworldly. Every move he makes, from the way he leans on his desk to the way he offers his hand, is precise, efficient, and carries the impression of leashed power.”
Unfathomable facets manifest themselves into forming Gabriel Legend, a rough ex-cage fighter with a hard, difficult past that was only revealed in tidbits. Strength emanates in immeasurable waves from this man, exuding an untouchable and toughed exterior, but beneath the tarnished surface is someone who possesses an affectionate, tender side. Gabriel’s the broodiest, most appealing of March’s heroes to date!
“Why I’m fixated on him, I can’t explain. Maybe because he lives in the shadows, while I live in the limelight.”
Scarlett Priest appears to be nothing more than a self-absorbed, shallow socialite, but don’t be misled by Scarlett’s surface appearance—she’s determined, self-assured and stubborn; unafraid to pursue her dreams even when they feel trivial and childish, or chase after an enigmatic man who incites her hidden pleasures. Despite these favourable qualities, Scarlett isn’t as fierce as March’s previous heroines and she didn’t have that same strong-willed attitude we admire.
“That one kiss was better than anything I’ve felt in a hell of a long time. Innocent. Sweet. But with a promise of fire.”
Gabriel and Scarlett have a delicious slow burn romance that kindles and crackles into an intense connection. It was a long and languid adventure reaching this inevitable outcome, because when they finally connected they became inflamed; bonded within the confines of wanton desires and ferocious need. No matter how enamoured Gabriel and Scarlett left me, I had an issue with this romance’s development.
I’m used to March creating lust-filled, untamed romances that sometimes border over the top, but the journeys and conclusions are always satisfying. I wanted to love and adore Gabriel and Scarlett, but there seems to be more separation than connection, making it difficult to appreciate this relationship. Regardless of my issues or thoughts, I’m excited to witness how Gabriel and Scarlett undergo romantic and character development, because this is something always guaranteed with the author.
5 LEGEND STARS!
This book is incredible! Meghan March done it again!
I was really curious about this book, but I was waiting for a second book in the series.
‘House of Scarlett’ will be available in nine days, so the time arrived and I could read ‘The Fall of Legend’.
Gabriel Legend is an alpha man. He has a whole world on his shoulders, but sometimes this big, brave man need a little help. And then Scarlett Priest is coming to him.
Both of them are provocative, raw and sexy, but this is only a cover.
Inside they are soft people with problems and doubts in their lives. Scarlett has a problems with her father and boyfriend. Gabriel has a problems with his friends and club.
They are stubborn and confident. They do everything to made their dreams true.
Their first meet so different than we always can read in romance books, but this is something new. Something which aroused my curiosity. Day by day, they are closer for each other, but it is too less to be together or… maybe not?
„The Fall of Legend” is hot and captivating book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, but as I wrote earlier „House of Scarlett” will be live in nine days, so fortunatelly this waiting will be short.
Why I wrote this? Because this ending is UGH. Meghan March knows how to end the plot, that the reader is in shock. You must read this book!
Good start to what I am sure is going to be another wonderful trilogy. Love a romance of two people who come from different backgrounds, the push and pull, the drama, danger and more that lurk always have me hooked.
Scarlett seems to have it all to the outside world but to those closest to her they know that she is lacking is the love. She has the love of her friends but her father seems to only tolerate or accept/love her when she is with whom he deems acceptable. She needs someone who will love and care for her for herself.
Gabriel has had a rough upbringing and has been through something that has changed everything for him. He is alpha, tough, take no crap, sexy as hell man that doesn’t want a commitment outside of the few he lets close. He feels that nothing but danger can come from being with him and puts up a wall around himself.
I can’t wait to see how Gabriel and Scarlett’s story plays out. Meghan always does a stand up job of delivering a truly addicting story and I am so eager for the next!
**Audio Review**
Meghan March absolutely floors me with her stories!! I am always pulled into the series immediately and The Fall Of Legend is no exception…I am hooked.
Gabe is one of my favorite characters so far by Meghan and I am not sure why cause I have loved them all but there is just something about him. He is dark, rough around the edges yet sexy as hell. He is brutally honest but will put his family or those he considers family above everything else.
Scarlett is a high society girl that can rock anything, she is strong and keeps her composure even after being kidnapped. She didn’t let fear stand in the way of her negotiating a better outcome and that was impressive. What I loved most about Scarlett is her need for the simple life, her funny coffee mugs, her working with her laptop in bed, and her fluffy pillows. She knows what makes her happy and even though she is in the spotlight most of the time she values her quiet more private time.
When Scarlett meets Gabe, she should be much more afraid of him than she was. Not that he would have hurt her. Gabe could never hurt a women!! But instead of her being afraid she found herself having thoughts about him that were on the dirty side. Gabe was no different, he wanted to do things to Scarlett that he knew were not appropriate and she was way out of his league but man oh man these two together are epic. I could not get enough and to know there are two more books yet makes so very happy. How things will play out is unknown but bring it on… I need more now.
As for Erin Mallon and Joe Arden, they were amazing. I loved both Scarletts and Gabes voices come to life. The narrators made the story even better even though I didn’t think it could be any better.
Meghan March never fails me. Her books are the perfect blend of alpha-male, sexiness, strong females, and unputdownable storylines. She is one of only 2 or 3 authors that I will read books in a trilogy as they release instead of waiting. And I’m so glad I read The Fall of Legend , because I can’t wait for House of Scarlett.
When Scarlett wakes up realizing she has been kidnapped, she vows to do whatever is necessary to get out alive. What she doesn’t expect to see is a gorgeous hunk of man-meat who needs her to save his a$$.
Gabriel Legend was an underground fighter turned legit after sinking every penny he and investors had into a hot new nightclub. On grand opening night, there was a big shooting, effectively killing the club. Nobody wants to go back. Scarlett Priest is a social media influencer. Born into money, desperate for a connection with her father, her life isn’t as perfect as her glamorous image depicts. Gabriel knows that all she has to do is come to his club a few times and show it on social media, and he may be able to bring the club back into the black.
Gabriel and Scarlett have an immediate incendiary connection. She has a crappy boyfriend and he knows that she is out of his league, but that doesn’t stop either one of them from wanting the other.
“Stop f***ing staring at her legs, man. That p*$$y might be gold-plated, but it’s not for you.”
This book was a little different than most other Meghan March books in that Gabriel Legend wasn’t really as much of an a-hole as most of her alphas are at first. It also moved a little slower. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed it! But after the initial kidnapping, it was more getting to know the characters than action, but it really picked up in the last third and I want more NOW.
Likes:
•It is a little different than her other books.
•Gabriel is a bad boy with a good heart.
•He is far from cocky.
•As always, Meghan March leaves me dying for more.
Dislikes:
•A little slow in the middle.
The Narration:
With two of my favorite narrators, Erin Mallon and Joe Arden were amazing, as always. Erin Mallon does the male parts so well!
The Down & Dirty:
I can’t wait to see how the famous society girl and the elusive street fighter come together! Once again, Meghan March has me waiting on the edge of my seat for the next in a delicious and sexy trilogy. I can’t wait to read the next two!
Rating: 4 Stars, 3 heat (I can tell, this will go up in the next book!)
Q: I would trade burning in hell for a single night with her.
Meghan March has long been one of my favorite authors and I was so excited about the new Legend Trilogy. After reading the first book, The Fall of Legend, my anticipation for the remaining books in the trilogy—and let’s face it, my love for her words—just quadrupled. You see, Meghan March absolutely NEVER disappoints. And I do mean never. Regardless of where her storylines take readers, you can be assured that the journey is going to be angsty, sexy and supremely entertaining. And let me be clear, The Fall of Legend? It was all of that and so much more.
Q: I don’t know who Legend is to everyone else, but to me, he’s a beacon, drawing me in.
Over the years I’ve spent blogging, I’ve learned that Meghan’s work is one that I can depend on to capture my attention from the get-go and hold it until the final page has been turned. And even knowing this, I started reading The Fall of Legend at nearly midnight…and stayed up all night to finish the story. (The extra coffee necessary to survive the lack of sleep was well worth it!) Did I expect a cliffhanger? Absolutely! Meghan March is the Queen of the Cliffy for a reason…but regardless, this book was a nonstop ride leading me straight into heartache and putting my kindle in jeopardy the closer and closer I got to that final page. And boy, did I want to throw my kindle after I read that final sentence! Trust me, you’ll be poised on the brink too once you pick this up and get sucked in!!!! The storyline is one that captured my heart, just as it broke it. Gabriel Legend is a hero that will turn your brain to mush and your panties into a lake! Scarlett Priest never stood a chance!
Q: Did I just put it out there to the world that I want this man? It wouldn’t be a lie. But that’s not something I would normally do. Not the perfectly polite Scarlett Priest.
Except I just did.
The Fall of Legend offered readers an epic slow-burn romance with characters that will warm your heart and a storyline that was incredibly original! Meghan March is a skilled storyteller who wrote a beautiful contemporary romance which is meticulously arranged to keep readers completely spellbound. The Fall of Legend sweep me away to NYC by an author who pens stories about cities with an amazing eye—Meghan truly accentuates the beautiful and glosses over the grimy—she depicted a city I’ve yet to travel and nevertheless, with the skill of her pen, creates a world that I feel exceedingly familiar with; it’s as if I’d lived there all my life. Legend and Scarlett are sure to entice anyone and combined? They make up a dynamic partnership that will long live on in the eyes of Meghan’s followers. While there is little that I can offer about the story itself to keep this review free of spoilers, I can say this is an excellent book to pick up if you are new to Meghan March’s work—or if you’re like me, a longtime fan and avid reader looking for your next five-star read. One-click now before The House of Scarlett releases so that you’re caught up and ready to dive in!
Q: Legend isn’t a normal man. I’ve seen what he can do. He’s capable of ending a cage match in just seconds with a dominant display of brutality and skill.
Not my first read by author and well I can guarantee not last! She kills me with cliffhangers every time but every time I get excited to read it even if I know I will be thorn apart…it’s just THAT AMAZING! Not just the story, characters but her writing, so smooth and easy!!
The best beginning EVER! When you’re immobile, have music playing in your ears and it’s pitch black…who wouldn’t freak out?! Nope, not Scarlett…cool, calm and collected hehe always the planner. When she was handed a unique situation, Scarlett keeps her head high. Best part about their meet is that the mystery to it, get’s you riled up. I love how much affect Legend had on Scarlett before she even knew it.
Legend lives in the shadows while Sharlett lives in the lime light. She comes from famous parents and a father she just wants approval from. Two people who couldn’t be more different yet have so much in common. This pull they have to one another, it’s so strong but they both are so strong headed and stubborn!! Except Scarlett hehe she had some colorful dreams and imagination that ran wild involving him. But what is the most beautiful is when Gabe let’s go and let’s her in, letting her be HER and no one else. It’s really beautiful! Also their first kiss was FUN & also he calls he ladybug, so come on now. A big, dark, scary, sexy as sin man who fights and lives in the dark, calling a woman ladybug! *swoon!*
The ending killed me, I…I feel for Scarlett, my heart! *breaking* I can’t wait for Book #2 because this will be killing me not knowing…!
A MUST READ!

MEGHAN MARCH, has another 5 star trilogy. Scarlett Priest is followed on social media and the people who follow her posts as to where the hottest place to be follow her there. . Gabriel Legend opened a club called LEGENDS . The first night his club opens a masked man shoots up the club. Business comes to a halt and Gabriel is on the brink of losing the night club.. Scarlett agrees to try to make the club successful again. Scarlett has lead a good girl life always stayed the epitome of class and privilege. Everyone wants to be where she goes.. Legend knows she is out of his league but is drawn to Scarlett and she is drawn to him. Life is about to take her on a journey she does not want to come back from. This first book in the legend trilogy grabs you in from the first chapter. The story has you hoping Scarlett busts out of her shell. The book ends on a wtf note. I cannot wait for “The House of Scarlett” to continue the story of Scarlett and Gabriel.
I devoured this book. I loved Scarlett and Gabe. I absolutely hated Chadwick. I loved this storyline, it was different and refreshing. The chemistry between Gabe and Scarlett was jumping off the pages and I was loving every minute of it. I liked watching Scarlett come out of her shell and finally start living instead of worrying about what others like hervat her would think of her.
I cannot wait till the second one comes out. December won’t her here soon enough!
OMFG! BatMAN!!!
I just last myself in a new a seductive and so forbidding read!!!
The Fall of Legend is just mind-blowing, superb!!!
I just can’t!!!!!! So good! That at a loss for words!
How do people from two different worlds find a common purpose?
Legend has brought himself out of the drudges of life to try and make something of himself. He has a dark past and regrets that haunt him. This makes him singularly focused on his business and making it successful.
Scarlett comes from the world of celebrity, the daughter of a super model who has made a name for herself on social media. She is an influencer, who also runs a unique business of her own. Secretly though, she longs for a different life.
The two of them come together in a circumstance that could either make or break either of them and what follows is a ride you will not want to miss! Sexy and enjoyable.
