Welcome to the life of Finn Fairlane as he goes on a journey of self-exploration all while fighting against the ever impending record release date for his client’s fourth album. With so much still to be done, can Finn find the inspiration he needs in order to do his job successfully? Follow along as he attempts to start a new life in the City Beautiful that is Orlando. What could go wrong?A … wrong?
A modern-day romantic tragedy, The Fairlane Incidents shows that even when you’re pushing forty, life is not as together as it may seem. A man who has been driven by his life’s work and the struggle to reconcile that with the woman he left behind, may have a chance to have everything he ever wanted. If only he doesn’t let it all go awry.
Insightful, cynical, introspective, and dryly funny, the ever descriptive Finn Fairlane takes the reader on a romp of his first few months in his new city.

Very interesting read, different than what I expected. Interesting characters and a very unique way of telling a story. It does put music in your head as you read it.
Phenomenal doesn’t even begin to cover this! I am absolutely enthralled with it and have been from day one and I cant wait to finish the series. The author has a way of using details to really give readers a visualization of the scene. I also really enjoy the multiple musicians and bands getting a subtle nod in the book. It makes it almost more relatable to readers like myself who are into music as much as they are into reading.
Nick Savage is definitely an author I will continue to read and yearn for the nect great book put out. He has a humble way of connecting what he writes into the real world making his books something that can reach more than one single group of readers. He’s really an artist with his words and I recommend him to every bookworm I know!
The Fairlane Incidents is the story of Finn Fairlane, a writer/record producer who moves to Orlando in attempts to find his Mojo. While working with an up and coming band, he finds himself drawn to a fan, while at the same time face to face with the one that got away. The story chronicles the struggle between giving his new love interest a chance, or falling back into the safety or a romanticized but toxic relationship.
This is the first book that I have read by Nick Savage, and I have to say it was unexpected. Nick’s penchant for detail leaves the reader with a crystal view of the characters, scenery and storyline. He emphasizes story points using pop culture references and the occasional statement to the reader. Refreshing male viewpoint to the traditional love story. Looking forward to the conclusion.
These are three individual books, but the read very quickly going from one to the next. They are highly descriptive, in some places, maybe a bit too descriptive. The story is well developed, and surprisingly, quite relatable in the aspect of this is more of the misadventures of Finn Fairlane. These are funny and enjoyable to find Finn in each of these sticky situations. I highly recommend these!
The first book was laugh out loud funny and Finn finds himself in a hurricane wearing only a sock.

I really wasn’t expecting most of it and some parts were a little drug out or repeated. A good read if you like books about music and heartache, I just felt it was missing something, but not sure what. I did have a shocked moment though. Hot scene included 😉 so no one under 18 should read it.
