This sexy and unputdownable Contemporary Romance can best be described as Cirque du Soleil meets the steamy, athletic romance of Center Stage.

“Don’t love me more than your dreams, myshka. Because I love you too much to let you give them up for me.”
I knew that this book was going to be amazing, I knew that I was going to love it and that’s why I was saving it for the “rainy days” but that doesn’t mean that I’m not mad at myself for not reading it sooner.
I devoured this book, enjoyed every single moment I was reading it. It’s not enough to say that I loved it.
In my eyes Krista and Becca can do no wrong, they never disappoint, and I still don’t understand how they manage to make me feel so many things with their books. This book made me so freaking happy and my heart is full of love for it and the incredible characters in it.
Thora is amazing. She believed in herself even when no one around her did. She never let anyone stop her from chasing her dreams, to bring her down and I love her so much for it! I have no words to describe Nikolai other than to say that I’m so in love with him. There is just something about Russian man in books.. they are just dreamy.
Just like with every other book by these authors secondary characters were as amazing as the main ones. I love them all, especially Timo and John…
A smile stretches Timo’s beautiful features. “So you’re admitting to feeling something from me, John?!” John glares. “Death. I feel death!”
I love love loved them!
“When someone reaches out and gives you a hand—for no other reason than to see your success—it’s powerful. And rare.”
I really enjoyed this book. The writing was so good that I could see the action taking place in my head. Every performance was imagined in perfect detail. This was a unique story to any I’ve read before. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone.
Definitely one of the crazier meet cutes I’ve come across. The premise and setting of this series is so fun. For anyone who has dreamed of running away and joining the circus, this book is for you. The romance wasn’t as passionate and wild as I expected. Their relationship was sweet, stable, and super supportive. It worked perfectly for them. Nikolai was very serious most of the time. He and I both admired Thora for her bravery. Like with other books from these authors, I found myself captivated by side characters. Everyone was great, except for Thora’s supposed best friend and parents, who were kind of infuriating.
Loved it!
I enjoyed the premise of the story and the storyline. I enjoyed all the characters and their differences as well as the 2 main characters. So much chemistry, so much love and so much heat! Unto book 2 of the series!!
I was so nervous to read this book. I make no secret of my love for these authors, the Addicted Series is one of my all-time favorite series, and I was so nervous because I really wanted this book to be just as great. And in a world filled with generic NA books, these author always manage to make their stories unique and beautiful.
The Ritchie sisters know how to write amazing characters. One of my favorite things about the Addicted Series are the characters, and their relationships between each other, whether it’s familial, friendly, or romantic. Amour Amour is no different, this book has an amazing set of characters, and their relationships with each other feel genuine and realistic.
Thora James has one more year of college to go before she decides to leave it all behind and follow her dream of joining the show Amour in Las Vegas. The Richie sisters always write such amazing female characters (I mean they created the Calloway sisters, fucking goddesses all of them.) Thora was wonderful. She experiences so much growth throughout the story. I mean, quitting college to pursue your goals while everyone doubts you takes some serious bravery and I found it extremely admirable.
In her first night at Vegas she meets Nikolai Kotova, one of the stars of Amour. His relationships with his younger siblings and his unconditional support for Thora made him a memorable hero and I loved his brutal honesty.
The side characters are incredibly well developed, specifically John and the Kotova siblings. They felt so real, and you could feel their ambition, kindness, and talent. They bring humor into the story and fill it with heart-warming moments.
With themes of self-discovery and following your dreams, Amour Amour was a brutally honest read. Thora pushes herself, both emotionally and physically to get to her goals and the amount of road blocks she faced was heartbreaking. And while there is a romance, hello it’s called Amour Amour, it never took over the story, and it wasn’t the main focus.
Overall, this is an NA book that avoids the typical NA cliches and I highly recommend it. If you haven’t checked out any of the Ritchie twins’ books, well, you should.
P.S. I really think a John and Timo book is needed after Infini. (I hope and pray for this) But that’s just me.
This book came highly recommended by a friend, and it’s easy to see why. What I really love about this story is that the heroine NEVER loses sight of herself, tempting though it may be. She puts herself and her dreams first- how powerful is that!? It also seems a rare find in a book. Which makes Nikolai’s love truly selfless.
I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to dig into the next one. Please tell me more stories from this “world” are on the way!! Timo, Shay, Katya … I want them all!!
So the main reason this book has a high rating is because of Nikolai. That man is dreamy.
Thora gives up her scholarship to chase her dream which her best friend, Shay, whom I hate with a passion and parents don’t support her on. But she doesn’t it anyway.
Nikolai unlike her parents and best friend supports her.
The story is amazing. If I had a teenage daughter I would recommend this book to her because it shows never to give up on dreams. Dreams just don’t land in your lap. You have to work for it. That made me love this book.
I kind of want to reread it but at the same time I can’t. To many other books calling my name.
Love the story, the family. Just everything!
A must read! I was hooked from the start of this amazing book. I loved the characters and the story line. This book has all the feels, Love, angst and heartache but this book also had me smiling too. This is the first book I have read by these ladies and it won’t be the last. I loved it!!
