Loved this! The writing in this book just sucked me in!
There were a few slow places in this novel initially, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this sexy, steamy romp on a fairly staid Ohio university campus, and once the action began, it did not let up!
Drew, a consummate professor who has moved from California and is now teaching second-year biology, and Sunny, a pre-med student, whose father is a well-known sheriff not four counties over from the university, is taking his class. As the classes, assignments, and projects start mounting, sparks really start to fly in the vicinity of Professor Andrew and Sunny, even with their seventeen-year age difference. When things get even more convoluted, enter Drew’s son and ex-wife to stir the pot to boiling.
I totally recommend this novel to anyone who’s looking for a novel where people are trying to figure out ways to live normal lives against all odds. Kudos to Author Victoria Snow!
I read and enjoyed this book in the Forever Daddies Series by Victoria Snow is a sweet and sexy contemporary romance collection of the following five books: Baby Daddy, The Ex’s Daddy, Best Friend’s Daddy, Sugar Daddy, and Next Door Daddy. Each of the individual books in this collection features a different couple who end up in a younger woman older man relationship. These stories explore what happens to these couples who find their perfect match regardless of the age difference. This series is full of sweet and sensual love stories that will appeal to any romance lover. The Ex’s Daddy is a sweet and sexy contemporary romance.
Professor Drew Richards moved from L.A. to try to reconnect with his son Jacob. Jacob had been dating Sunny for a few years but they had broken up. Sunny goes to her first class and sees Drew and falls in love with him. The feeling is mutual. Well it will be interesting to see how this all falls out.
This is a sexy hot contemporary forbidden romance between a professor and a student. The characters are amazing and you can not help but become engaged in their story. There are some sexually explicit scenes that work well into the storyline. There is enough emotional drama for anyone who loves romance, as the two main chapters try to overcome their past, family stresses, their internal struggles and several surprising twists. It is a page turner. If you like steamy romances, you will enjoy this one.
Wow, talk about the different types of daddies… I didn’t think there was so many kinds. Some a little more strange than another but all very well matched.

All Sunny had her mind on was completing her courses and getting into med school. She and Jacob ended their relationship because he wanted her to stay home and raise his children not wanting her to advance her studies. When the school term began she found herself in Drew’s class and boy did he ignite sparks none of them had to do with the class material. He was drawn to Sunny as well what the didn’t know was that Sunny had a history with his son. When everything comes to light old wounds will resurface and battle lines will be drawn. Who will win this round?

This is not my favorite by this author. A college professor of 37 years old should not be interested in a student. I know it happens but it is not the norm. The second thing I have issue with is not using protection of any kind and no discussion of it. The writing is good but story was just not for me.

Another book by this author that fell completely flat for me. I had to push myself to finish this book. I had a hard time liking the characters as well as the storyline itself. Now that I said that, just because I didn’t enjoy this book doesn’t mean that you won’t. Please read all the reviews as well as the authors synopsis to see if this might be your next read.
Our heroine wants to be a doctor, but gets no support at home. When she develops an attraction for her older professor who support her efforts, nothing ca stop her now.
This is a steamy romance with a student/teacher motif. The story is very well written with an easy to follow plot and well developed characters. I particularly loved out heroine, who is a gal with a plan, although she stumbles a bit towards the end. Our hero is also a good guy, but a little too obsessed with what others think. Our characters have a couple of bumps in the road which they have to navigate, but they eventually get it together on their road to an HEA. Overall, a highly enjoyable read.
Highly recommended.

What would you do if you had a second chance to get everything right? Professor Andrew, Drew, Richards is in for another life altering experience when he meets Sunny. At 37 years old, Drew has dealt with the horrible pain of chances lost, a relationship failed and a lonely life. After plenty of soul searching, he packs up his life in California and relocates to Ohio to try to form a bond with his now 20 year old Son. On the first day teaching in a new college, this is one Professor who is reduced to carnal thoughts surrounding his top student, the very mature and beautiful Sunny. As they continue to dance around each other, the tension builds between them to an explosive level. Sunny is everything her namesake implies as well as fiercely independent. Only Chris, her best friend and college dorm-mate has ever supported her dreams, not her Father or her recent ex, has ever seen her potential to become a Doctor. Meeting her newest Professor only helps her commit to herself and her dreams and somewhere along the course of this class; they now include the unobtainable Drew. Or is he? Find out right here in this superbly designed book. Ms. Snow has crafted a beautiful storyline surrounding these two fated characters and I loved everything about it. What happens when all you have ever wanted is forbidden? Would you do what makes you happy or what is expected? How about discovering that Sunny’s ex and Drew’s son are one in the same?
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of The Ex’s Daddy in exchange for my honest opinion and voluntarily given opinion. I couldn’t put this book down.

She has her sights on the delicious looking professor, and when Sunny is determined there is no stopping her. She doesn’t care that he is older than she is; she only knows that he will be hers. He will be the one she wishes to lose her V-card to. He is also the man that is in her dreams now, but soon he will be the only man in her life for real. First day of class is here, oh boy, let the seduction begin.
He recently moved to this town in hopes of connecting with his estranged son, not that his ex has made it easy for him at all. He takes the job as a Professor at the university, finds a place to live close by, all to make a fresh start. When the first day of class arrives, he enters the classroom, looks at all the students. He already knows who will or won’t pass this class by looking at them. He is stopped in his tracks by those eyes, belonging to a beautiful young woman sitting at her desk, the eyes that are taunting him at every angle. This is so wrong, and yet there is no stopping what is already in play.
An after class meeting to go over the study material in his office, the sharing of secrets from their pasts, the line of Professor and Student become very blurred. It goes to a point of no return one evening, things progress to hot and heavy and oh so heavenly. Just as things are about to happen, Drew is informed that Sunny is still a virgin, her secret revealed. The blurred line has been crossed, then it is uncontrollable, and it draws them even deeper to one another.
A surprise visit starts a lot of events. These events lead to changes, separation, and time to think. Some thoughts form a plan and Drew realizes he cannot be without Sunny, and he will stop at nothing to convince her that she still feels that same way for him. It takes a sit down to talk moment for them to realize there will be no more separation, no more secrets, no more hiding, it also reveals a wonderful bit of surprises and once very special happy ever after.
This a great book I loved the chemistry between the couple. Characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly.

A much better novel written by this author that at least had realistic situations and reactions. Drew and Sunny have an intentional one night stand that leads to much more. I like the fact that Sunny did come off as being mature for her age and handled herself gracefully when confronted with Drew’s bitter ex. Readers weren’t subjected to long internal personal conversations of recriminations and what ifs. There’s many obstacles in their path, one of which is that Drew is a Professor at the College Sunny attends. Next hurdle is the age difference in which he is of age to be her father. If that’s not enough to run someone off how about Sunny’s ex boyfriend is Drew’s son. Can you guess what else happens? Jaw dropper there and if this doesn’t grab your attention to at least make you interested in reading this, then this is not the book for you.

Professor and Student but there is a slight issue that no one knew about………….what to do now?
The Ex’s Daddy is a fun story by Victoria Snow in her Forever Daddies series. This story is about an older professor, Drew, who is tempted to take a bite of the proverbial “apple” in the form of Sunshine, aka Sunny. She is a student in his class at college and she has the hots for him big time. Sunny has an anterior motive with pursuing Drew as she thinks he is the perfect man to give her V-Card to.
Drew does take that bite and they have a really good time, even starting a relationship. But as with everything that seems to good there is definitely a worm in that apple. It turns out to be Drew’s biological son, Jacob. Drew did not know that Sunny had dated Jacob and Sunny did not know that Drew was Jacob’s father. So the question becomes………………what the heck do we all do now?

I really like Victoria Snow’s writing. This book has two very interesting main characters who are not perfect but the reader can’t help but find them both perfectly likeable. The story line wasn’t what I expected and when I figured that part out, the whole book became even more interesting. Very good writing and editing, a great story and memorable characters always make me a very happy reader. 🙂 Highly recommend.

Sunny is in her third year of college and is ready to make her move on a professor that she is finally out of his class. However her ex won’t get the hint that they are over and keeps coming around bothering her. Drew transferred to Ohio to be closer to his son and try and build a relationship with him not that he is an adult. Yet he still doesn’t want anything to do with him but Drew refuses to give up. Drew had been fighting temptation in class but has managed to survive without acting on it however he has no clue that Sunny has plans for him. After final grades are posted Sunny goes looking for Drew and makes her move. She is tired of the men that she has wanted putting her off first her ex with wanting to wait until marriage to have sex and then having to wait until she wasn’t a student to go after Drew. Drew was stunned when Sunny made her move and wasn’t able to stop himself this time. Things heated up between them quickly and soon she was staying over night at his place. When she came back from beak early and went to his place to be with him Drew was pleasantly surprised and didn’t turn her away. However neither could’ve been prepared for the shock the next morning would bring when his son shows up with his mom. Sunny walks in and sees her ex boyfriend who is Drew’s son standing in his kitchen. Will they be able to be together? Will Drew go after Sunny when she leaves? What will happen at school?
This is an amazing story that once you start it you won’t want to stop until you are at the end. The chemistry between them is electrifyingly hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
