When my parents told me that I’d be spending three weeks at a London prep school on a student exchange my junior year, I was furious. I love New York. My school. My friends. And I didn’t want to leave. But after some not-so-subtle insistence about experiencing a new culture, gaining worldly knowledge, and the fact that it was only three weeks, I knew I wasn’t getting out of it. So, I decided that …
So, I decided that if I had to go, I might as well have some fun.
Which was how I met Harry at a pub. His blue eyes, adorable accent, and charm instantly won me over – right after his lips did.
And I started to think that London might not be so bad.
But then I met Noah.
He’s tall, dark, intense, and spends way too much time in the shower. I know this because I have to live with him. And did I mention that he hates me?
My first day at school is more eventful than I anticipated. A boy named Mohammad takes me under his wing, declares himself my guide to the “hostile and hormonal battlefield that is Kensington School,” and lays three facts on me:
He, Harry, and Noah are best mates.
I’m the new girl and bound to cause drama.
And I’ve already got his boys all twisted up.
I’m in way over my head, and it’s only my first day!

I was given an ARC copy of this book and bought a paperback copy. Jillian has done it again. I love every book that I have read by her. London Prep made me wish that I could have done the student exchange program in high school or taken college classes in another country. London Prep was…wow! Fit British boys, high school drama, hanging out with Mallory. Noah may be my new book boyfriend. And his parents are amazing.
I absolutely love most high school drama books. London Prep did not disappoint. Making friends. Making enemies. The sass of the characters are real. This book is witty, hot, sexy and definitely funny
Jillian did it again! I never want to put her books down and trust me, I could NOT put it down. Hot guys and romance, makes you feel like you’re in high school all over again. I thought I was anxious for this book to come out, but I CANT wait for the second one!!
Absolutely love London Prep. Jillian’s writing and story telling is amazing. I love the characters and storyline. Jillian’s books are always a must read.
Oh my goodness!! I absolutely loved this book. Jillian has immersed us into the world of teenage drama. The setting is beyond words.
I love the American sass of Mallory, the analytical mind of Mohammad, the c’est la vie attitude of Harry, and the brooding of Noah. The question remains will the American girl break up the three amigos or will she become “one of the guys?”
This is a must read!!!
Honest ARC review
This book is YA drama at it’s finest.
I fell in love with Jillian’s writing in That Boy and when she came out with The Keatyn Chronicles I was hooked on the YA drama! Love going back to a time when things were fun and all you had to worry about was your boy crush and the mean girl.
Mallory is from NY and won’t take any gruff. Love her spunky character and sexy sidekicks because what hot guy wouldn’t want to me the new exchange student?!
Highly entertaining fast read!
I absolutely loved London Prep, the first book in a new series. Jillian Dodd has a unique way of telling a story. I have been a huge fan since I read That Boy. She quickly became a must read author for me.
Mallory lives in New York and loves her life there. When her parents inform her, she’s going to London for three weeks in a student exchange program she isn’t happy. Her host family has a son her age. She has a hard time figuring out Noah, he goes from hot to cold. When he is nice to Mallory, she likes him.
Noah has two best friends, Harry and Mohammad. Noah didn’t know that Harry and Mallory had met the first day she arrived. Noah isn’t sure how he feels about the close relationship Mallory is forming with his friends. He is worried she will come between them. The only problem is Mallory has chemistry with both Harry and Noah.
After the ending of this book I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen with Mallory and this new group of friends. This was the perfect YA read full of drama and hot boys.
Jillian gives us another fun, exciting YA series!
Hold on to your seats as you get to know Mallory, Noah, Harry, Mohammed, and more!
Full of teenage angst, spirit and confusion as Mallory starts a new adventure in an environment different from her own. Enjoy her sass and spirit as she ventures along, learning a new culture and the excitement of studying abroad.
I love these characters so much and I can’t wait to see where Jillian goes with the rest of the story!!
Jillian has found her niche in this type of book. Her books are fun and full of drama, whether your typical high school drama like in London Prep or in explosive ways like in her Spy Girls series. She is my go to author when I’m looking for something light, fun and easy to read.
This series is going to be very fast paced so lace up and be ready!
Loved the start to the London Prep series! The characters and their chemistry are addictive. Mallory reluctantly agrees to a three week school exchange program but once she’s in London…three guys pull her into their clique. Noah is the sporty guy whose family hosts her. He is argumentative, playful and smart. Genuine good guy. Harry is the cute, flirty playboy. He’s been around the block a time or two, recently single and ready to mingle with Mallory. Mohammad is funny, intuitive and friendly. He gives great advice but is the typical guy at the same time. Their easygoing friendship and potential love triangle had me glued to the pages. Love the angst and YA drama. I have to know what’s next in store for Mallory and what’s going to happen when her three weeks come to an end?
I very much enjoyed this book. I’m not usually one for a love triangle but this was just too good. I, of course, have a favorite guy, one I hope Mallory ends up with but I’m not sharing who that is yet. All the character are awesome. The writing is fantastic and the story is fun and original. Seeing as it is the first book in a trilogy it ends in one hell of a cliff hanger, but the good news is that book two will be here in late May, so we don’t have to wait long. All 3 books in the series will be available in Kindle Unlimited! Don’t miss out on meeting Mallory, Harry, Noah and Mohammad.
**I did receive a free advanced copy of this book from Jillian Dodd in exchange for a fair and honest review**
This is book 1 in a new series by Jillian Dodd. It’s just like her other books full of laughter, drama and hotties. If you love her other books you will love this one as well. I couldn’t put it down because I couldn’t wait to see what Mallory got herself into the 3 weeks she’s in London. I can’t wait to read the next book and get to see more of all the characters.
What a great start to a new series by Jillian Dodd. Great for young adults or those young at heart that like high school stories. Lots of boys (British hotties anyone?) and drama. In true Dodd fashion, she takes you day-by-day in Mallory’s life as an exchange student. It’s only for three weeks, but there proves to be plenty of trouble to be had in those three weeks! This is the first in the series, so buckle up and get ready for the ride.
Okay — super swoony!
I like love triangles, but I don’t read many of them because they stress me the heck out. The back and forth is too intense for me usually, so I just try to avoid them if I can. But man, they’re such a good read if they’re done right.
Harry is all confident sexy Brit boy with a troubled past — he comes on strong and hit and shows no shame for it. Noah is that love interest that just makes sense, ya know? The one where it kind of starts if a little bumpy, but then they kind of just click as a couple.
I love this story. It’s all the YA drama that I find refreshing and intriguing. I love the friendship dynamic of this book. So much! Muhammad is so fun and chill, I love him. I love reading about friend groups.
I also have to say the angst was real, folks. I couldn’t put the book down because I had to know what would happen next. I’m really irritated that I have to wait until May to read the next one. I’m so interested to see what happens next.
And let me just make this statement now… I love Harry. He’s sweet, and affectionate, and sexy, and needy when he doesn’t even fully realize he is. But — I’m team Noah. Periodt.
