People say you can’t find your soul mate at eight years old. I did.I found Reed and loved him more than I loved myself. We were young…beautiful…entitled.Money and private schools, our families’ lavish parties and posh New York City apartments—it was all mere window dressing. What was real was our obsessive love, which grew right along with us as we moved toward adulthood. It consumed me, … It consumed me, and only in his arms did I feel wanted and safe.
But I have a secret. It’s big and to some, unforgivable. And it’s why I let Reed destroy me, or maybe I destroyed us. Either way, I’m worse than broke—I’m broken.
Once upon a time, we were happy…Yet privilege has an ugly underside and in the blink of an eye, my world crashed down around me.
I don’t feel entitled anymore.
The Entitled is the first in The Entitled duet. Their story concludes in The Enlightened.

WHAT. DID. I. JUST. READ?????
One of the most heart wrenching stories I’ve read in for freaking ever! I just cried on my husband’s shoulder! Stomach churning. Heart pounding. Tear jerking! Why!?? I can’t answer that now! Just go get the freaking book and you’ll see!!! I need to go recover now! 5 was totally not enough for this book!!!
Wow. I truly enjoyed this book and my god, am I glad book two of this duet is out! Can’t wait to get more of Reed & Tess!!
Cassandra Robbins, well done!
5 stars. I loved this book. I can’t believe I haven’t found this author sooner!! At first the flashbacks were confusing to me because they were so frequent but as I kept reading I understand what was happening and I love it. Seriously if you haven’t read this, you need to. Definitely one I will go back to and read again.
At the beginning of the story we meet the twins, Jax and Reed then Tess who is new to NY coming from California. Tess’s mom is friends with the twins mom. Tess has a ton of anxiety growing up and her and Reed hit it off right away. Growing up their relationship has some ups and a lot of downs. I have to say Tess’s best friend Brance is by far my favorite in the book. This is an amazing debut novel from Cassandra Robbins! I did not want to put it down. There is so much heartbreak but it is all worth it. It does end with a cliffhanger note the duet in the title but it is so worth it! You will not be disappointed. I couldn’t go into to much detail with this one because I don’t want to give the book away. Just know it is fantastic and worth the read.
This is a very complex read. The storyline spans years and is littered with drama, twists, heartache and angst. This is book one of two and I enjoyed this book but I am still on the fence about this couple. I’ll have to see how it goes in book two to make up my mind.
I am blown away that this is a debut novel, as it is truly brilliant work! Reed and Tess were soulmates, but sometimes life has a way of interfering in the grand scheme of things, and leads to an emotional rollercoaster journey throughout. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will certainly not be disappointed! This is a well written story which if filled with angst, drama, emotion, passion, conflict, twists, and love, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read the second part of this awesome duet.
Tess and Reed, wow I cannot get enough of them! I love how the story starts out in the present day, then transitions to the backstory. It leaves you wondering how it is all going to come together. Just when you think you know, you really don’t. The spark that Tess and Reed have is insane and I can’t wait to see how the story continues.
*I received Entitled ARC for my honest opinion*
I had a hard time putting this book down. Reed and Tess have had an all consuming love since they were 8 years old.
The emotions you get when reading this book is all over the place. This book encompasses all of the emotions. It definitely had quite a few steamy scenes. I wouldn’t read this in public…it’s quite naughty. I’m certainly not complaining 😉
I will say that I wasn’t the biggest fan of either of the two main characters. Tess was a little too damsel in distress for me and Reed was over the top. However, the story line kept me reading and I’m glad I finished it.
This book definitely leaves off with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book!
