Can Hanna and Will Find True Love Amid the Bright Lights of Reality TV? Perfect for the fans of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette! Six months ago, William stole Hanna’s heart and shattered it in front of millions of people on a reality TV dating show. And now the big-wig CEO is back on Hanna’s home turf in Minnesota and wants her to forgive him? Fat chance of that. But life is swirling around … But life is swirling around faster than snow in a blizzard, and despite her objections, teaming up with William seems like the only option to rescue her reputation.
William has never regretted anything more than the day he gave that ill-fated interview for the reality show, The Price of Love. But while he can’t change the past, he’s determined to fix the future. He just needs to convince Hanna to forgive him—and pretend to be engaged with him. Simple, right?
When the media erupts with even worse accusations, teaming up and pretending to be engaged seems to be the only way to salvage their reputations. Despite the media frenzy that swirls around them, an attraction neither of them can fight off begins to surface. Could this love run deeper than a scandal, or will old wounds tear them apart once and for all? When all seems lost, it’s only with help from above that Hanna and Will may find their happily-ever-after.

Hanna Knight, a teacher from a small town in Minnesota, is living with her father after a disastrous experience on a dating reality show much like what most of us today recognize as “The Bachelor.” After the final episode airs, William Preston, the CEO who was the bachelor, responds with an ambiguous answer to a question about a weekend they spent together just before the end of the show – one that suggests the time spent was not so innocent. That one answer put the public view of Hanna’s values in jeopardy and she calls off their engagement.
William comes back into her life to ask for another chance. Sales at his company are slumping and his Board of Directors think that a reconciliation may change that. William turned his back on the church after a family tragedy when he was a teenager. Hanna is still steadfast in her faith. This, for her, is not a winning combination. She is not at all interested in a permanent commitment, but they agree to a fake engagement. But where will things go from there?

A bit slow paced but not bad overall.
While some of the plot is predictable, it was a fun read
Easy read
Easy to imagine a scenario like this actually happening with all the reality TV these days.
A little slow moving – not very deep, whimsical entertainment.
It was entertaining from beginning to end. An easy read and lots of fun.

“The Engagement Plot” is a romantic tale about a down-to-earth young woman who had her heart broken on national television. She did not want to go on The Bachelor Show to begin with, but she did so under the encouragement of her best friend- now she must suffer with the heartbreaking consequences, including her damaged reputation. Enter in the Hunky Lead Man, he is back wanting to make amends. Instead of the television show raising the revenue for his company, it is tanking it instead, and all because of his over-sized ego!

I loved this book, the reality show theme for me was very original, the characters were likeable and believable. I would liked to have an epilogue where they got married. The detail of his face when he saw her in the DRESS would have been priceless.

I loved it .I would tell every one about it.
