She’s a sorceress sworn to protect a young Were whose very life is on the line. He’s an Enforcer charged with bringing them in.
Garren Strengest is a man of honor and principle, but when he discovers his lady fair in Isabeau Rose, all bets are off. Her safety is the most important thing. Can he get her to give up the one thing she’s promised to protect in order to keep her out of danger?
This is a great new world! I know it is listed as a stand alone, but I can dream. I would love to learn more about the Council and the Enforcers and Knox! Garden and Beau were great. Some great sexy time while still having some feels. I really enjoyed that even though this had some fated mate aspects, the characters still made choices. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Gorri is still kicking ass even when it’s not her normal writing style! While not working with the way the world is right now, staying home with all the kids going crazy, sleep schedules all out of wack. It was so so nice to get lost in this amazing read! A wonderful added bonus with Camelot and Avalon. Would love to read more tales of Beau and Garren.
An Enforcer is the last thing Beau needs right now. Knox, a young Were in her care, is going through his first transformation. She made a promise to take care of him. Garren never expected to find his Lady Fair during this assignment. But that is exactly what happens. Their story is magical. Danger, action and romance make this an amazing read. I think this could turn into a very exciting series. Ms. Gorri has done it again. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy I received.
The Enforcer is different from most of the books I have read from C.D. but is just as wonderful. Beau and Garren are at odds about what is the right thing to do, but not about the attraction they have for each other. With a few twists and turns they can find their way out, but will it be together?

The Enforcer uses Arthurian legend in a story of a sorceress protecting a young were prophesied to rule them all. An evil wizard has been killing off young weres to try to prevent the prophecy coming true while a Lady sorceress protects him. The enforcer sent to stop them discovers she is his lady fair, just as in King Arthur’s time. It’s a quick read with fun parallels and engaging characters. While I loved the premise it felt rushed and I felt like it could have been the first book in the series rather than what I can only assume is a standalone
I recommend it but be prepared for it to feel rushed you will have a story hangover though mild
