Vydor is riding a wave of success, but now his ship, the Dragon Claw, is being sent to investigate a mysterious event deep within the Empire’s space. A secret research colony has fallen silent and the forces sent to investigate were never heard from again.
A new enemy has come to the Empire bringing with it dark powers that were abandoned long before the Empire was born. Powers that were … were thought to be legends and myths.
It’s up to Vydor to keep this force at bay and protect the Empire, but it may come at the cost of his faith and shake the foundations of the Empire itself.

So good
Good read
Loved the book
Absolutely loved it.
Loved it,recommend highly.
Poor writing. Repetition and poor use of pronouns. Gave up after a couple of chapters.
Truly awful.
A very interesting mix of sci-fi gendres. Technology and magic and romance. I enjoyed this book but did not go on and purchase the next in the series.
Good story, keeps moving along
I really enjoyed this series. There were enough twists and turns to keep me turning page after page and book after book. Between the books, I was left feeling that there was a lot I had missed out on. They were good enough that I kept reading book after book!
Enjoyed this one, plenty of action and very likable characters.
Interesting story premise.
This had a little bit of everything a Sci if fan would want.
Well written main character finding his supernatural talents and how best t use them.
Entertaining read…
One of the best sci-fi’s I’ve read in years. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I’m HOOKED!
Interesting blend of technology and magic.
Excellent read. Not as dense and hard to follow as many fantasy/sci fi type of novels. This is a fun series with many interesting characters to follow.
Vincent puts twist in the story that only unravel as the story unfolds. Excellent read!
Very entertsining. A good read.
