Harper and Eric are now faced with trust issues. Can they survive their enemies and find a path to love and forever? The third and final book in the Filthy Trilogy. Book one: The BastardBook Two: The Princess
I enjoyed reading this story!!!!! This is the 3rd book in a trilogy so you need to read The Bastard and The Princess first. This book starts where the Princess left off. There is so much that happens though the story and it kept me reading to find out what is going on and the ending was not what I expected it was better. I recommend this book!!!!!!

Five epic stars! A mind-bending conclusion to an enthralling series.
I’m dead! Damn this heart that is beating so fast. The Empire by Lisa Renee Jones left me breathless and speechless. I can’t find the right words to describe how much I loved this book because they are not enough. Epic finale for the Bastard and the Princess. An intense journey that I want to repeat because series like this are freaking gems! When I started the Filthy Trilogy, I lost myself deep and hard. I knew I was ruined for the upcoming books and I wasn’t wrong. The Bastard went to my core furiously fast. The Princess blew my mind away and the suspense eat me like a candy. The Empire broke me beyond repair. I don’t know how I will recover after reading such intense, dramatic and suspenseful masterpiece. This epic ending is beyond any critique and better than a thousand diamonds. It deserves million stars!
All the lies, secrets and ambitions that created a dangerous web of lies have reached the culmination of a consuming tale that kept the tension building in my guts. I was a goner from the first page. The book was quite demanding and overwhelming that crushed me like a train. The Empire is everything. Story, hotness, characters, heat level. Everything was juts perfection packed with all the feels and unexpected twists that will leave you aching and craving more and more until you devour all the words.
This book played with me and at the end of it I lost a piece of myself. It drove me crazy. All good things have and end and let me tell you that Lisa penned a monumental ending for Eric and Harper’s story. Everything is exposed in this book. It bleeds passion, filthy lust and explicit love. The relationship between Eric and Harper is erotic, powerful, passionate, explosive and seductive with a lot of turns and twists that add intensity and complexity to their story.
Could I take a minute to tell you how dangerously intense and strong is Eric? He is a man and a savant; powerful, rich and ruthless. He is so much more. His mind is a labyrinth created by numbers that only he can decipher and his touch is electrifying. Eric’s need for Harper is provoked by the fear of losing the woman he is falling in love with, the woman who really sees the man and the savant in him, the woman who was made for him to protect, care and love.
Harper is the woman created for Eric. Their physical connection is out of the charts. She is his equal and together will survive the secrets and ambition floating over them. She is the one for him. All about them is intense and the sex scenes are intimate, seductive and lustful.
The Empire and the entire Filthy trilogy are truly can’t miss! It is a hell of a ride, intriguing, spellbinding, and mind-blowing. It will rock your world!

Bloody hell….. I’m in the mother of all book hangovers….. I loved the final read in this series.
Lisa Renee Jones is one of my favourite romantic suspense authors and she finished off the Filthy Trilogy much as I’d hoped.
Eric and Harper have had one hell of a time and to see how everything they faced was gonna shape their relationship and finally find out what the hell was behind all that had been going on until now made for good reading.
A couple of things I thought I’d figured out – one I sort of got, sorta… the main threat was fairly obvious but it was the reasons behind it all that stumped me. The secret that left us on tender-hooks at the end of The Princess wasn’t quite what I expected and not as awful as I’d imagined it could be. I liked how the tension and suspense was kept up at the start of the book but didn’t consume every chapter – and yeah, there was a lot of sex but hey, it’s LRJ, and she writes those scenes really well!! 😀
I love how this series kinda intertwines with the Dirty Rich books (but you could read the trilogy as a standalone and still understand what was going on, you’d just miss out on knowing who the other characters are and where they fit in to Eric’s circle/life) and the addition of the Walker Security team as well as Grayson and Mia added to my overall enjoyment of the reads.
I’ve heard tell that a certain burly Walker Security team member is gonna be getting his own book and I cannot wait to see who snares his attention!!!
IMHO the Filthy Trilogy is a definite must read, especially if you’re a fan of Ms Jones’ books. The Empire gets another 5* from me and I look forward to catching up with Eric and Harper further in the Dirty Rich series.

The Empire is an absolute wild ride all the way to the end. Harper and Eric are challenged to find the answer to the mysterious coded messages. This must happen all before another assassin comes looking for them or one of their family members, both those loved and those hated. As Walker Security helps Harper and Eric solve the mystery, they must also prove their trust for another. Whose past holds more secrets and can they overcome them? As the twists and turns occur in this page turner, Harper and Eric develop a stronger, deeper love for one another. Can their love last long enough to secure their future together?

By now you’ve read the first two books…or you should have to get to this review. If you haven’t stop now and go back to The Bastard. You can’t read this out of order or the book won’t read smoothly for you.
The Empire fills you in on all the family secrets. Players you think are in the game might not be. There are some characters that might surprise you even. It’s up to Harper and Eric to stay strong against the onslaught that’s coming after them.
I enjoyed reading this series. I thought that Harper repeated herself a bit too much though. It got old after awhile. You’ll probably want to shake her and say just spit it out already!
Secrets are never good for any relationship, be it friendship or lovers. Sometimes secrets seem bigger than their reality as well. I think Eric takes all the unveiling pretty well in this edition of the Filthy Trilogy. Having Harper by his side definitely helps. I can’t imagine how anyone deals with a savant brain!
This book, the trio of them even, read really quickly for me. I enjoyed the characters and their piecing together the puzzle of “who done it?” Give it a try. Let me know what you think!

This is the 3rd installment of the Filthy trilogy and you find out if Eric and Harper will ever get their happily ever after. After The Process leaves you totally hanging, this book pick right back up with suspense and around the clock determination to keep you guessing how this story will unfold. I was so happy to see the Walker Bros. in this final installment and even happier when Savage shows up. This is some of the best work yet by Lisa. There is so much suspense you just don’t know if there happily ever after will ever come. Great read!

The stakes are high and lives are on the line. Danger is simmering, just under the surface, ready to execute its hidden agenda. The mystery is woven throughout the story, revealing little pieces as we’ve read. With the final installment of this trilogy, we are finally getting the answers we’ve been desperate for.
There’s an element of repetition in the dialogue that can grow tiring, but the mystery is so captivating that it’s easy to stay engaged and overlook that aspect. I couldn’t put the book down. Shocking twists and exciting revelations had me picking my jaw up off the floor. I really loved the way everything played out. I’m excited to see what she brings us next.

The Final conclusion is here, this is one hell of a series. It’s addicting, filled with a web of lies and deceit.
Through all the drama Harper and Eric learn they are ment for Each other and will do whatever it takes to protect each other.
Now without saying anything else that may give something away, all I will say is get ready for a drama filled ride. This series is really worth investing in.

The Filthy Thrilogy has come to an amazing end with The Empire. The Empire picks up right where The Princess left off. This story has so much to it money, sexiness, hot couple, and dark mystery. Harper and Eric have so much so much chemistry. You will sit on the edge of your sit trying to figure out this who did it. Lisa has such a knack for writing dark mysteries with a lot of ups and downs. You must read The Bastard and The Princess before you read The Empire. A really good series.

The Filthy Trilogy finally got its ending. If you haven’t read the trilogy, I highly recommend you do, especially if you were introduced to Eric in the Dirty Rich series. This is one trilogy that takes you through a ride of family drama.Lisa Renee Jones wrapped up the trilogy perfectly in this book. There were twists and turns into the madness of Eric and Harper’s world. At the end of The Princess, there was a huge cliffhanger, but Lisa gives a quick overview of what happened to let the reader know where The Empire is picking up at in the beginning. Poor Eric and Harper can’t catch a break in their relationship, and both are going to be tested with their relationship in this book continuously. Readers will get a little bit more of Eric’s ‘Savant’ ways, where he digs deeper into the messages that are left for Harper to figure out about what is going on in the Kingston family. Harper is being told not to trust Eric. Harper, of course, knows that Eric is the one to believe and she will do anything to prove to Eric she trusts him more than anyone else. Both characters are learning that the Kingston family will do anything to keep secrets buried and may even kill to keep secrets hidden. Although, Eric has Walker Security and Grayson on his side to help him reveal those secrets. There are also some others that are coming forward to disclose those secrets finally.Although this book only received 4 stars from me, I did enjoy it. The second book will remain my favorite of the trilogy though. I loved Eric and Harper’s relationship and how they fought for each other. They didn’t let the drama get in between each other. Harper was even stronger in this book compared to the last two books. I’m going to miss Eric, but I’m glad that both Harper and Eric finally get their HEA, especially after everything they went through. Now, I’m anxiously going to wait for Lisa Renee Jones’ next books that are coming out this year, which happen to be quite a lot. :)Story Rating: 4 starsSteaminess Rating: 4 starsStandalone or part of series: Part of the trilogy and highly recommend reading in order.Do I recommend this book? What a great ending to Harper and Eric’s trilogy. Lisa Renee Jones brings it all to conclusion with romance, lots of intrigue. What I love about Ms Jones’s characters is that they are far from perfect and Eric and Harper are no exception. Eric with his trust issues and Harper’s blind loyalty, but what is great is as the story goes on they both learn to move their trust and loyalty to each other.
The Empire kicks off right where The Princess left off. We get to see some of my favorite characters (Grayson & Mia, Blake and the ever fantastic Savage). This however is Eric and Harper’s story from beginning to end. With fantastic dialog and dual POVs this is a fast paced story with a great payoff. If you are in need of a great series that you can pick up right now don’t look any further than the Filthy Trilogy.

The Empire is the third book in the Filthy series. Once again this book started right where the Princess ended. I felt that this book was not as intense as the first two. I kind of felt like I was just coasting along from chapter to chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved the book! I just didn’t get as excited! I definitely feel that you need to read both The Bastard and The Princess before reading this one. You need to have the whole story all the way to the end. Even though a few people tried to have things come between them, Eric and Harper stood strong and together and made it! This is a great series that I recommend reading.

This is the 3rd book in the Filthy Trilogy and the conclusion to Eric & Harper’s story. Eric & Harper have to work to find a balance in their relationship where they can truly trust each other as they fall deeper in love. So many of the the pieces of the puzzle come together but at first you are wondering who did what and how will it possibly end. With the help of Walker Security, Eric is trying to solve who tried to kill his father. Was it Issac, Gigi, or maybe Harper’s mom, possibly the mob, and what about the birth certificates? Lisa does an amazing job of tying everything together and then throwing a twist in to keep things exciting. An incredible HEA!!! Loved it!

Lisa Renee Jones can definitely write a story that keeps you flipping the pages and hoked to see what happens next.
Eric and Harper – I absolutely loved them together.
Who needs enemies when your own family comes stocked to the brim with them. Eric and Harper had so many issues fighting against them, but I am glad that they made it.
Eric is the entire package: amazing, smart, gorgeous, thoughtful and ruthless just to name a few. I love how him and Harper fought to stay by each others side through all of their problems. Harper is loving, smart, beautiful and I love how she embraces Eric’s savant side. She loves him for who he is and not his money, which means that she stands by him when he needs thinking time and never holds it against him.
If you haven’t read this series – all I can say is, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? This is an amazing series and the chemistry between Eric and Harper is off of the charts.

The Empire is the third and final book of the Filthy Trilogy, so in case you didn’t get the memo, YOU HAVE TO READ IN ORDER, The Bastard (Book 1), and The Princess (Book 2) FIRST! If you do not, you will not understand the whole complex journey at all, and you would miss out on Lisa Renee Jones’ diabolical genius, and that would be a crime. Now, it all picks up where The Princess left off with Harper demanding that Eric tell her what he’s been keeping from her. And will it make them or break them, because seriously, there has been so much that has happened to this point, so you know, you’ll have to read it to find out, because I’m not saying another damn word about the description. I will say that the themes remains the same. So many f-bombs worthy twists that I barely had a voice left by the end of it from my screaming & dropping them, and the hotness factor still lit things on fire like nobody’s business. The cast of secondaries still fall into 3 categories, the good with whom I love so much as they kept me very entertained (some from previous books & others are new), the bad that I frowned upon, and the oh so ugly who needed to die immediately in very painful ways. So there you go, that’s all I have to say about this EPIC ending because in this instance the less you know the better! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Empire wraps up the suspenseful and sexy story of Eric and Harper. In The Empire, there are new revelations, surprises, and secrets that are finally revealed. While Eric and Harper have been drawn to each other in spite of their circumstances, they have struggled to truly trust each other, reveal necessary truths, and be truly vulnerable with each other. They are tested as they get closer to uncovering the lies, betrayals, and secrets threatening to rip them apart. This series is meant to be read in order and Lisa Renee Jones provides a recap of the action at the beginning, which is really helpful.

The highly anticipated conclusion of the Filthy Trilogy is here. This book cannot be read as a standalone.
That said after book 2, I had high expectations for this installment.
Well written, overall I enjoyed this read. Harper and Eric’s story continues as they struggle to uncover the “big secret.” However, after the big secret was revealed, I was somewhat disappointed as it was minimized and it seemed anti climactic.
This trilogy could have easily been incorporated into a 2 book series.

The Empire is book 3 in the Filthy Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. This book is the conclusion to Harper and Eric’s story and picks right up where The Princess book 2 left off. I love this author and her writing. She keeps us guessing and on the edge of our seat with all the mystery, suspense and twist ant turns. I thought she gave the perfect ending to Eric and Harper’s story. Their passion and love for each other kept them going through it all. I highly recommend this book, this series and especially this author.

3.5 stars!
