Loved this book and read it several times
I enjoyed this book. Perhaps not my favorite English historical romance, but it was lovely. The hero needs some work in the way he interacts with people, but his flaws did seem real and honest for who he is. A wedding of convenience with a few twists to make it entertaining and interesting.

I love this book! There was just something about this book and the relationship between the hero and heroine that you don’t get with every romance novel. My husband even read it and he like it. I know, right? A romance novel? Yes, and he loved it too! Highy recommend the who series!
As many pearls hidden in my kindle, I had this book lost somewhere among too many while I did purchased it because the blurb caught my eyes.
Because of Jason’s attitude toward Olivia, I do hoped he will have a big set down and will have to grovel a lot.
Even if I’m not very fond of knees weak females, I was happy that despite her attraction to her …

Because Jason arrives drunk to their wedding then immediately heads back to London, when he …
I loved the story of Jason and Olivia. Her and Elizabeth’s way of “payback” was pretty poetic! I do wish we could have seen the Ton’s face about the marriage. The house party with watching Jason dealing with Cecily kept me on the edge waiting for the shoe to drop! Loved the outcome of that one. And lastly the villain who showed up would have been …
This is a particularly good story about an Earl, Jason, who marries Lady Olivia so that he can inherit according to his late father’s will. He abandons her after they take their vows and because he was so drunk, doesn’t remember her at all when he meets her later.
She doesn’t let him know that she is his wife and the games begin.
Beautifully …
