Weston Kincaid was my first…everything. My brother’s best friend should have come with a warning label. The man was a cautionary tale and we were the ill-fated cliché. The star quarterback to my loner art geek. But I didn’t listen. Not to the warnings. Not to my instincts. I fell, and I fell hard. Then he left and I was forced to pick up the pieces of my broken heart. A decade and a lifetime … broken heart.
A decade and a lifetime later, he’s back.
Only instead of being the star jock, he’s now a surgeon.
A sexy, irresistible surgeon who happens to save my friend’s life. As if all that isn’t bad enough, he has it in his determined, arrogant head that we should pick up where we left off.
But this time, it’ll take more than devouring looks and the rush of his touch to temp me back into his bed.
And my heart? Not an option.
He’s about to figure out, I’m not the same girl he left behind.

So Much More!!!
A fantastic emotionally heartfelt read that is so much more than I could have hoped for! You feel every emotion hit with a thunderous impact from beginning to end! Inescapable drama throughout this well written read that makes it impossible to put down! Swoon worthy breathtakingly beautiful chemistry that gives all the yummy feels! A thrilling must read!
Wow! I loved this second-chance romance. Weston always has had feelings for Aria since high school. He was off to medical school and she was off to be a world-renown artist. But, when life surprisingly brings them together, they can’t deny their feelings for one another. I haven’t read the first in the series, and didn’t feel lost in the slightest. Highly recommend!
Nothing pulls on your heart strings like a beautiful second chance romance. They always say that you never get over your first love. Well, for Aria and Wes, fate has their paths cross again and they were given a second chance.
“But every now and then, during some particularly dark moments or late nights, I’d relive our time together. I’d smile, wondering about the girl life seemed to enjoy keeping away from me.”
I loved how this book went back and forth between the past and the present. With every new look we got into Aria and Wes’s past, you can feel the words tugging on your heart as you come to realize the pain that these characters felt during their years of being apart. Their story was beautiful, it was real, and it was amazing.
Quick side note- that drawing scene? Holy hell! Talk about hot beyond belief. I literally needed to fan myself because that was one steamy scene!
And that epilogue though! That was pure magic. Truly. I honestly couldn’t have imagined it ending better than that, I was full on crying happy tears by the time it said “The End”.
This is a wonderful book that is sure to tug on your heart strings, maybe even make you remember your own first love, and it will surely make you fall in love with Aria and Wes’s story. It certainly did for me.
**ARC REVIEW**
Wes & Aria
Two people who fall in love at a young age with so many goals in each others lives it’s kinda impossible to see the possibilities of a relationship..
Aria gives Wes her all, even knowing he will be going away to College not having time for a relationship. She still holds out hope thinking just maybe something might change.
“I am nothing. I am the empty man who ruins everything he touches. I’d only break her heart. Destroy her dreams. There is no perfect for us now. Only the hope of forever on the distant horizon.”
Years pass they move on with their lives, even having that dull ache in the center of their hearts. Knowing something is just not right in their lives and there’s a huge missing link.
You learn Aria & Wes’s young story and at the same time you move into present time.
A Slow Burn Second Chance Romance that leaves you wanting more of Aria & Wes.
“Because distance and regrets are a thing of our past. And this is the start of our forever.”
Amazing and fantastic! This book met all of my expectations and then some and I had so much fun reading it! It is well written with a well-developed plot that is consistent, realistic, and emotionally deep. It is funny and the dialogue is absolutely amazing. The characters are really loveable, deep, and sincere; the chemistry is intense and the sex scenes are off the charts hot! I loved watching their story unfold. The unexpected twist and drama make for a wonderful story. This is a very interesting and engaging read that I highly recommend.

I devoured this story as quickly as I could turn the pages. Wes and Aria’s chemistry burned up my Kindle. The Hot Doc had such a sweet, cheeky grin (in my head) and Aria was endlessly interesting with her artist career and her really cool house. Add to that a mystery over who hurt her friend (I <3 Joshie so much) and this is a page-turner you can't put down.
If Saman scribbled a shopping list on the back of an envelope, I'd read it.
Five stars.
The Edge of Forever is the perfect example of ‘the heart wants what it wants.’ Ten years ago, Wes was her everything but being her brother’s best friend made him off limits. Years later, a chance encounter while visiting a sick friend brings Aria face to face with her past. Time and distance might have separated Aria and Wes, but their souls were destined to be together. J. Saman creates believable characters that are full of angst, chemistry and set my kindle on fire!
I honestly don’t know how Ms. Saman does it! These characters that she writes are flawled and so beautifuly human, you cannot help but be drawn into their story! I loved Aria! Everything about her was fantastic. She was young and mature. Artistic and realistic. And Wes…sweet, quietly broken, and hopelessly in love with forbidden Aria. Their story was sweet, heartbreaking, and hopeful! This gave me all the feels! It gripped my heart from the beginning, squeezed, and then didn’t let go to the very last word! This is one of those books that I’ll find myself reading more than a few times!

Oh, my heart! It’s so full from this wonderful story. I fell in love with Wes he is everything anyone would want in a man. This story is a second chance romance with a first love. It has several emotions packed into this beautiful story. J. does not disappoint with her stories they are so refreshing compared to a lot of the same old stories that are out.
I just got to say…amazing. The way to write a story just gets us hooked. I don’t know what it is but we get transported and feel as though we are in it as well. The way you describe every little detail makes us feel awed by it. In this stoey we watch as two people who have known each other for most of their lives find it hard to say how they feel after always being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Aria and Wes are so cute together it’s magical when they finally get their HEA. I can’t wait to read more about these characters we were introduced to. Thank you J. Saman for another fantastic read. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Oh my, this book was so good. I couldn’t put it down once I started it, so I finished it in one sitting.
J. Saman is one of my favorite authors and this book, The Edge of Forever, serves as another reason why. She does such a great job writing well-thought out storylines that are full of characters that are multi-dimensional. And Wes and Aria’s story is no exception.
There are moments that are heartwrenching and sad, even in the midst of hope and moving forward. The author pulled out all the stops to write an excellent romantic tale.

Weston and Aria grew up together and he was best friends with her brother but that still did not stop the feelings he had for Aria. He was her first and then he disappeared. Now it’s been ten years and they meet during a traumatic encounter involving a school friend Josh. She could not believe at first who she was seeing and then pent up feelings start to take over. Will they be able to get beyond their past and begin again or will she walk away and leave well enough alone? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I have only read a few books by J. Saman but with each new story of hers that I read, she burns yet another scorching, angsty fictional couple into my heart that will remain there forever. From the moment I was drawn into Aria and Wes’s world in The Edge of Forever, J. Saman kept my heart beating double time and me on the edge of my seat to see how these two were going to end up together after loving one another for years and years. She takes us back in time to see them fall madly for each other and experience every casual glance and touch that mean so much more. J. Saman shows us that love has no expiration date, that the ebbs and flows of life bring us together and some times tear us apart but if it is meant to be, it will be.
Aria had me intrigued from the get go with her brainiac, soft spoken ways and her star filled eyes and never ending crush on Wes. The more I got to know about this heroine, the more I realized that she has a steely strength underneath all that softness that most of us could only hope for. I loved watching her grow into a young woman who knows her own mind and self worth but yet still believes in the magic of love and forgiveness.
Wes Kincaid kept my emotions in knots and had me singing his praises one moment and wanting to shake the stubbornness from him in the next. But yet, he still won me over and stole my heart right along with Aria’s. If you are looking for a hero that is the complete package, with charm, good looks, brains, and a mouth and sexy moves that often get him in trouble, Wes is most definitely your guy! I couldn’t resist him and fell for him over and over again whether he was wearing a football jersey or a lab coat.
J. Saman delivers a love story that weaves us in and out of time and shows us all the ways that these two fell for one another. I highly recommend The Edge of Forever for a romance that has our hearts invested from the first page and keeps us waiting impatiently for the mystery and passion to unfold. I cannot praise J. Saman’s writing and characters enough. She knows how to keep a reader enchanted and begging for more with each chapter and moment of drama that unfolds.
Aria is an artist living in Boston. She gets a call from General Hospital. Her friend Josh is there and she’s the emergency contact
On top of that, his surgeon is her ex, Weston Kincaid. Her first everything and her brother’s BF.
Will twelve years later be so different from how they ended in high school?
Recommend.

Loved this book. Wes and Aria are neighbors in high school. He is older and her brother is his best friend, so she is hands off. She has always crushed on him and he is in love with her. They run into each other after 10 years and they finally want to have a second chance. I would give it 5 stars!
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done. I look forward to more!
They have been on The Edge of Forever before……but will they finally get their forever?
The Edge of Forever is the second book in The Edge Series and is the story of Aria and Wes. Their romance and happy ending story is years in the making and has a couple blow-outs along the way. There are a lot of emotions involved in this story so get ready with a box of tissues before you start. Also make sure you block a day as you will not want to put this down until you get to the last page. But when they finally do come together it is wonderful, sweet, sexy and will bring more tears to your eyes.

Wes and Aria had a history in school, but Wes left for college and became a surgeon. She had her broken heart and continued in art. Years later, they meet again and reconnect does not go smoothly, with the heartbreak she has already had. This storyline grabs you from the beginning and keeps you on edge, crossing your fingers for these two. Some twists and surprises along the way to keep up the tension. Loved the kindness and support, the intense feelings and emotions, as well as the trust that develops. Beautiful story of rekindling a deep love that is finally forever.

This book was so wonderful and we are privileged to witness the stories of not one but two examples of true love. We meet Aria on what could be the worst day of her life as she rushes to the hospital after learning her lifelong best friend Josh has been critically injured. Josh, who is gay has been there for Aria through all the joys and disappointments in her life and their love for each other is something special. She gets a shock when she finds out that the surgeon who saved Josh’s life is a person she hasn’t seen in over 10 years and the man she lost her virginity to. Weston and Aria only shared two nights of intimacy with each other but the time they spent together talking about life and their hopes for the future as well as them being the other’s one “true love” but life just kept getting in their way. There are flashbacks that show earlier times together as the experiences that shaped Aria, Josh and Wes and showed how their lives were forever entangled and eventually led up to their meeting again 10 years later. This was an emotional and deeply moving book that left a lasting impression with me that I won’t forget for quite some time.
