TALK ABOUT STEPPING OFF THE DEEP END!!!
I have to give credit where credit is due. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started to read this little guy. I’m now glad that I have. Its a unique spin on one young woman’s life. What paths she must endure when women were nothing more than chattel. Bartered, sold, tossed away. And what she brings on herself. But it’s so much more. I love the main female, she has spunk, sass, feisty as they come, a strong sense of duty. You’ll get your quota of pulse racing, nailbiting, nerve racking moments that you can’t wait to take the blinder’s off to finally see whats coming at you. Only you’re just more confused. Talk about stubborn, hardheaded, disobedient and never follows orders. Huh! I wonder if this is a package deal. Maybe I can get a 2 for 1. The characters are intriguing, complex and realistic. The scenes are vividly detailed and descriptive that it paints a majestic backdrop that leaves an impression for a while after you’ve finished. I like that the main female wasn’t afraid to speak her mind or that she has a spine of steel. Twists, turns and unexpected surprises that seems to be lurking around every corner. Once you pick up this page turning bombshell you won’t be able to put it down. What lenghts would you go through for love? What sacrifices would you make? Dana has an amazing talent for making the suspense feel so real your body is humming with adrenaline. You never know whos friend or foe. Who you can trust and who you can’t. Sometimes its those closer to you that you need distance from. Dana did an incredible job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Dana, thanks for sharing this remarkable read with us.

The Earl’s Daughter will hold you spellbound as it comes to life with a web of danger, intrigue and secrets in this romance. Dana Arpquest has filled this story with a strong plot, with remarkable emotions, unforgettable characters, and great dialogue that bring this together perfectly. Lady Alys is stubborn, unruly, into mischief most of the time and is a spitfire who only wants her father to pay attention to her. A story filled with drama, danger, mystery, heartbreak, trials and tribulations, turmoil, and while the suspense builds and tensions escalate with so many twist and turns abound that ends with a Cliffhanger!! Looking forward to reading The Duke’s Lover to see what Alys will do next!!
It is a cliffhanger! That said, I found it very good. I picked it up and did not put it down until it said, “The End”. Lady Alys is the daughter of an Earl and they live in Ireland. Tristan is her not quite four-year-old horse. He is all white, beautiful, and formidable. He goes everywhere with her. Even when she steals on a ship and goes from Ireland to England. She doesn’t follow orders well and is in constant trouble.
Edmund, son of the Duke of Latham, is fighting along with his father. Who is a contender for the throne.
I have to give credit where credit is due. It has a lot of action, a fight or two and is exciting, especially if you try to keep up with Lady Alys.
I recommend this book if you don’t mind the cliffhanger. Even if you do you should try it
Secrets & Lies!
This book is written in the first person, a refreshing touch. We meet Lady Alys with complicated family ties and social standing in medieval time Ireland. You’ll enjoy her spunky personality and that she goes against the grain…like caring for her horse herself. There is a web of deceit that Lady Alys becomes embroiled in, hence the mystery and suspense. It’s a chess game with dire consequences. She embarks on a serpentine journey with a bittersweet love thrown in. The ending will leave you keen to see what happens next!
