I wished this story was longer but alas it is just a short story. It ends somewhat abruptly. I wish it had a better ending.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
I really enjoyed this short novella. It was sweet and sexy with fantastic narration from Shane East and Olivia Thompson who was new to me and I enjoyed very much. Definitely would recommend if you need a quick listen.

The Duke’s Twin: A Regency Short Story (Kindle Edition) by Lauren Smith …A Cute short story of twin brothers and two sisters… who is in love with who? and who is the Duke?
This is a quick and very enjoyable read. Twin brothers and two sisters reaching out to see what their future could be. I loved the H/h personalities. They were lively, fun and forthright. Simple premise of the four of them falling in love was entertaining to read. I felt bad for our heroine as her mother favored her younger sister over her. When the mother would speak with her it was almost mean and cruel. But in essence was pity that she was not as accomplished or beautiful like her younger sister. It broke my heart. Thank goodness our hero could see past all that and liked her for who she was. She was fun. witty, loved to read, played the harp (which he loved because his dearly departed mother played the harp also) and she never walked away from a challenge. She blossomed around him without her mother around. A great short story. I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A short fun read that I read in a sitting. The characters were very likeable & had plenty of depth, not easy to do in a novella. I love it when a rake falls & Miles falls hard. The pace is good & I loved it from the moment Justin asked for help.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
