Haven’t read a western in years but I will definitely read more of this author’s books.
I enjoyed the characters and their lives.
Classic western.
Good western will read more of his books
Following path of Jim Bridger as he crosses the Mohave the first time. Entertains but no Louis LAmour.
GOOD READ TYPICAL OF JOHNSTONE
Great read, just like the rest of his books.
As always with a Johnstone book, good story line, well written. Would have liked a little different ending.
Ending came unexpectedly. Of course it sets the continuing saga which I am not fond of.
Really enjoyed the book.
A fairly good story with realistic characters and conversations. Not quite the quality of Louis L ‘Amour or Elmer Kelton but not a time waster either.
An excellent western story that is well research. The chartecters are believable. A very good story line.
