The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is a wonderfully written fantasy that I loved diving into. What made me want to read this book was the darkness I read in the synopsis. Fantasy with darkness truly is has become a favorite and this book quickly became a topped my list. The author gave us storyline that was creative, intriguing, well written. The characters full you right in right along with the vivid details. This was my first book by this author and I have to say I want and need to read more!

FIVE STARS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
THE DREAMERS VENGEANCE is the first book I’ve read by this author and I enjoyed the visual writing. It is a story with great world building and lots of detailed character. There were several times I found myself backtracking to figure out what was going on, but for the most part the story flowed well.
This is a book I would recommend to my younger cousins. I will definitely be reading this author again.

The Dreamer’s Vengeance
by Helen Tyree
This book drew me in right from the beginning. It is an original plot that I found intriguing. The author made this book so enriched with details that I could feel like I was right there in the thick of it. I read this book in one sitting because I so hooked I needed to know how the prophecy would be fulfilled. The characters came to life for me as I read and it wasn’t until I got further into the story that I could discern between who was good and who was evil. This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be my last. The author did such an exceptional job weaving a wonderful fantasy world full of magic and so much more. I highly recommend this book.
The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree. This is not my usual type of book to read but it pulled me in and before I knew it I had read the whole thing. Its the story of the Mystical Winged people of Israa who are very peaceful until a army of vicious humans invade their land. Affiza their leader takes matters into her own hands and before she is brutally murdered she speaks of her prophecy for revenge. 75 years later and the prophecy long forgotten, a mysterious illness is taking out the Israani tribe. In search for answers to this illness 17 year old Caexia goes on a journey that leads her to Syrus a human who charms Caexia resulting in the birth of a child at the same time his forgotten wife has a child as well. Does all of this play into the foretold prophecy? Aliana may be part human but a certain wrath can be brought on at any give time. This is a fast moving read that will keep you guessing til the end.
Helen Tyree is a new author to me and for my first read from her, I read the brilliant Dreamer’s Vengeance. I was totally drawn to this book just by reading the synopsis and then it made it even better by it being a fantasy read. I’ve been reading a lot of books lately that are very mentally visual and this book is no different. This book has action and adventure and it flows from chapter to chapter with a great pace that was easy to follow.
Another brilliant thing with this read was the characters I couldn’t wait to see where their journey would take them.
I’m so glad I got to experience this read it is a book that holds you captive until the very end!
I cant wait to see what else this author brings. I will be on the lookout for all of Helen Tyree’s future books.
The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree – Review by Sam Sheerin
4 Stars
My first read by this author and very intriguing indeed. YA fantasy with a synopsis that has you hooked from start to finish.
All characters are beautifully written, and so full description that you can almost feel like your in the world with them. Truly magically. Cant wait to read more from Helen
A great read about vengeance. Many years ago, a fleet of humans invaded a magical island of winged people, the Israami. Now, seventy five years later, the Israami are dying from a mysterious disease. Desperate to something about it, young Caexia sets off across the sea. But as danger follows her flight and events unravel, can she save her people?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Caexia determined but kind underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the reluctant Jaisa or the uncertain Graythen.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the crimson sunset or silver moon or the black wings in vibrant colours bold and beautiful, adding more of a sense of 3onder to this world, perfectly written. Or the sense of nature in the jungle and underground with its sights and sounds and smells so vivid its as if you’re actually there.
A wonderful addition to the fantasy genre with magical creatures in a beautiful setting trying to right an ancient wrong steeped in their own lore. I also liked the use of suspense with the story of the daughter with details revealed slowly to keep you reading to find out what happened. I also liked the use of pathetic fallacy with the storms giving a sense of unease with foreboding bad events to the reader. Fast paced action and high stakes in a fantasy world made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.
The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is my first read by this author. Her style is vivid scenery, easy to get wrapped up in the characters, and the presentation of the story. With these three things done by Helen Tyree, makes the book that much more enjoyable to read. I would say that this is a YA book, on the other hand I would as an adult read this story. It has a fast pace movement to keep you on your toes. Since it was so easy to follow, I did not realize that I had read the whole book. I love it when you can get that involved with the story to lose all sense of the world around you to the world inside your imagination. The story is about people of Israa having evil humans take hold of their land. There is a prophecy about a Dreamer who will free them from the evil humans. It was a long time since the prophecy has been proclaimed and now there is a plan. Will the Dreamer hold true to the prophecy? Will the prophecy come true? Is there something there that wasn’t there before? All of these questions will be answered and more. I would recommend this story to forget about the world for a while. .

This definitely falls into the YA Fantasy category. I’m giving the book four stars because the idea behind the story was original. The author has a way of writing in such detail that the book nearly comes alive. It feels as though you are there experiencing her world. The characters went on an adventure filled with action, betrayal and revenge.
The story had a lot of information to tell from the beginning to the present. I believe this story would have made an excellent three book epic adventure. The first explaining the beginning, the second being Caexia’s story and the third when the curse came to fruition. It would have given readers a chance to connect with the characters and care about them. I found the first half of the book to be heavy and tedious with the information but then the second half picks up with more action. It’s a story filled with a web of lies that keeps you wondering what will happen next.

The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree
The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is wonderfully written YA / Fantasy book that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the last page. This is my first read by this Author but won’t be my last. Her style of writing is creative and her characters are very well developed .I at times was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Get ready to be taken on a magical journey and find out what happens next. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this Author.
I must stress, I rarely gravitate so quickly to fantasy novels. The Dreamer’s Vengeance however, was an impulsive choice that I am so glad I made! Helen Tyree is a new author to me, but when I saw this cover and read the blurb I was hooked already. The novel that lies between the covers is a fantastic journey that I became lost in. Tyree writes with a vividness that is rare. I felt as if I was visiting this new world, following right along with the characters. I smelled and felt the air as if they did, her writing really transforms you that much.
The plot is original with characters that you can’t help but falling in love with. Honestly, this book checks all the boxes and it is hard to say anything to the contrary. However, I will say that there were several times I did become lost in the transitions. It was complicated to decipher which character I was reading, and I found myself re-reading at times to sort it all out. The story and descriptive writing makes that an easy thing to deal with though. I can’t wait to see what else we will get from Helen Tyree. I am gonna go get some of her other novels while I wait!

The Dreamers Vengeance is a really great fantasy by Helen Tyree. It has an original premise and the story was quite fascinating. I loved The Tunnel, and so I was quite excited when I discovered this book in my recommended books feed, I couldn’t one-click fast enough. As expected, the story is well written and the ‘world’ is beautifully crafted with vividly descriptive scene setting which brought it all to life.
The story was interesting, and I was intrigued to see where it would lead. It has a great pace and a fairly smooth flow- the only minor issue I had was that it became a little choppy as we moved from one perspective into another. And at times it wasn’t completely clear as to who was speaking, and I had to re-read bits to figure it out and then get back into the flow.
With prophecy, action, revenge, discovery, adventure, betrayal, surprising developments, emotion, and magic- this story made for a great read. I am looking forward to more from Ms. Tyree!
Thank you, Ms. Tyree!
This YA Fantasy read was a great one. I was pulled into the story from the very first page. The characters were great and i thought the authors writing style was creative. The action in this story is what really kept me reading because i was one the edge of my seat and i thought overall the story was an awesome way to spend my afternoon. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend to a friend.
This book is a departure from my normal genre but I have to admit, I did enjoy it. Tyree is skilled at making her readers form a bond with her well developed characters. You think you’ve got the plot and ending figured out only to have twist after twist. The writing seemed a bit heavy at times. I wish the story had been divided into multiple books to allow for a bit more development between parts. Fun plot with an exciting, cathartic conclusion. Nice job. 3 stars.

The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree was an excellent read! I loved this novel and enjoyed the author’s creative characters and scenery. The main characters and supporting characters were developed and described well. It was easy to visualize them and relate to them as the story progressed. I also enjoyed the vivid scenery the author created. I had no issue picturing myself in the novel. This is the first book I have read by Author Helen Tyree and I sincerely look forward to reading more of her work. This novel was very enjoyable and an easy read. I highly recommend it.
The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree was an epic YA fantasy that hooked me right from the start, and before I knew it, I had this wonder read in one sitting.
My first read by this author, I was pulled in by not only the cover, but the intriguing dark synopsis as well. I had a good feeling, and I’m glade I followed my gut. This book pulled me in, and it wasn’t long before I was engulfed in this magical world. Detailed and well written, this book takes you to another place, makes you feel like you’re there, and it gets all the feels fired up. The only thing that I would say, I could fault, was that, there were some transition issues between voice changes and MC’s. I did have to backtrack at times before I got what was going on; there just needs to be a clear break. Other then that, this book was everything I hoped for and more.
I loved the connecting MC’s, and the way everything played out. That hovering darkness kept you on edge, and man, this book got me in so many ways, that I can’t even get them out. There’s just so much good in this book, that it’s wroth the praise, and it’s worth your time and energy as well.
So yes this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval
Happy Reading

The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is a YA fantasy story that is action packed and a little dark in some places. This is my first read of Helen’s work and I enjoyed the story and I found her writing to be creative and unique and the well developed characters. Helen wove her tale that takes you on a vivid journey. There are many main characters and each of them tell their story throughout. The only problem I had was that there is no clear definition of when the characters are telling their story so I had to backtrack a little at times until I got the bones of Helen’s writing. It is a story that you will sit and devour as you need to know how it will all end. What happens when greed and lies call to you?
It is an enjoyable read and any YA who loves fantasy will like it too.
One thing I love about a well written novel is how you can completely lose yourself amongst the pages and forget about everyday life and just feel like your part of the story and this novel certainly delivered that! I couldn’t put it down the character’s were brilliantly developed and the storyline was amazing I just couldn’t pull my eyes away I wanted to devour the book and can’t wait to read more from this author! I love how I was taken on a incredibly magical journey all I was missing was a cheeky glass of wine and I would of been on cloud 9!
What an action-packed story! I found this was one book that once I started I had difficulty walking away from. This was my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of detail provided in the plot as well as the characters. This YA fantasy is very well written and will captivate audiences of all ages. I truly enjoyed it and will gladly recommend it to others.
The Dreamers Vengeance by Helen Tyree is a brilliant example of a YA fantasy novel. It has a familiar feeling of a YA novel but is also unique in itself.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. The first thing that caught my attention was the stunning cover. I was instantly drawn to it. It was simple yet completely mesmerising. I immediately wanted to know who that person was and what their story was – and I think this fit in really well with the story.
Once I opened the book I was drawn in even further. The story was well paced, it was exciting and captivating. I thought the characters were really strong and they each had their own role to play.
I thought this was a great way to be introduced to a new author. It has made me exciting to read more of their work and I would love it is we could one day revisit this brilliant world she has created.
