One of the best series I’ve ever read, I HIGHLY recommend this book
At this point, I’m all in…..there is no way I can stop reading/listening. How will all of this end?? Is there an end??
I fell in love with Ronan Lynch in book one of this series. Not despite all his rough edges but because of them. In that story, the first of the series, this is pitched as Gansey’s story as he is the ringleader of their little band of adventurers. In a lot of ways it is also supposed to be Blue’s story with her being the missing piece for this …
I think the Raven Cycle series might be some of the strangest books I’ve ever read — that is, strange in the very, very best of ways. I had the same experience with book 2 as I had with book 1; for the first half I barely understood what the hell was going on, and yet, I couldn’t put it down because it was just so intriguing and darkly magical. …
This was a good book! I’ll admit, at first I was a little bored and it felt repetitive, but the last 100-200 pages were soooo good, it made up for the beginning. This book is my least favorite in the series so far (I have read up to #3).
I love everything that was explored. The magic type system in the series really grew with this book, and it …
After how much I loved the Raven Boys I had high hopes for this book and was absolutely overjoyed to see them exceeded in every fashion. This is what excellent storytelling is all about. The storyline introduced in the first book continued on, this time with the focus on Ronan, and his ability to pull things from his dreams. He is by far my …
another brilliant adventure in this ongoing tale.
I don’t know if any character has ever been more real to me than Ronan Lynch. I can see him so clearly, his facial expressions and body language, his razor wit and aura of laconic ferocity. Whenever I read about him, it seems like he’s just going to leap off the page at any moment. No author crafts characters like Maggie Stiefvater. She is MAGIC.
Wow!!! So much wow.
The saga of Blue and the Raven boys continues with this original and engaging story. Each character is so fully-developed that you find yourself wanting to know more about them and their backstory. The dialogue is realistic and witty. The world building keeps getting better and more immersive. This is a series that will keep you turning pages and …
