This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. The Dragon’s Witch – The Chosen by Lola Gabriel reads as a stand alone, but could seriously be the opening salvo for a new series. Lola Gabriel has a knack for breathing life into characters and developing addictive storylines and while I liked the storyline and thought that the characters were well written, I thought that the development of the story rolled a little slow for my taste. Despite this, I thought that the story was definitely worth the read and would definitely read a follow-up.

Natasha is a Gaia witch but she is dying unless she can find a lost artifact. To make matter worse is there is a dragon in town hunting her and she knows it won’t be long before he finds her. Dragons are the enemies to Gaia witches and want them witches dead because they can kill them. Natasha meets Felix and he is everything she has ever wanted in a man but she’s dying so she knows their time is short. Felix wants to get rid of his immortality and that is why he is looking for a Gaia witch. What will they do once they discover what each other is? Can they find a way to be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

What an epic storyline. Natasha is a Gaia Witch who is literally dying. The only thing to save her is finding an ancient relic. She’s also the camp counselor who ran into Felix on her way to her car. Felix is a dragon, tired of his immortal life and wanting to die. The only problem is a Gaia witch is the only one who can pull this off. Have you read the teaser? Yeah, there is so much tension, angst, lies, secrets, drama, and a fate induced love. All the elements needed to an epic paranormal romance. Lola Gabriel has been known for her world-building and I can’t wait to see which character will star in her world next.
The Dragon’s Witch by Lola Gabriel is a book about the chosen. In this book, a Gaia witch named Natasha believes her uncontrollable power is a symptom that proves she is dying. As her powers give off large spikes of power, Felix a dragon member of The Chosen goes looking to destroy the powerful Gaia witch before she can come after and destroy any of the dragons. By accident these two meet by accident and begin a relationship where they fall in love while each withholding who they really are. This is a wonderful tale of star crossed lovers who need to realize what is really important before it is too late. The Dragon’s Witch is a surprisingly sweet enemies to lovers romance.
Gaia witch Natasha and dragon shifter Felix are mortal enemies and neither one knows why. They meet and fall in love thinking the other one is just human. I really liked their story and was saddened when they truly tried to kill each other when they found out what the other one really was. Can they ever find forgiveness and reignite the love they had for each other? A sweet romance and a worthy addition to my shape shifter collection. Nice!

I love that two strangers felt a pull. It led them to get past some fears and try to get to know each other. But one misunderstanding will leave destruction and hate. One witch fighting what she believes is her death and one dragon who wants to end his immortality. Both are enemies that could mean death. The story goes pretty fast and is very exciting. The romance starts out so sweet.
When Romero and Juliette fell in love, they were both aware that they were in love with someone of the opposite clan. But what if they did not know? Then you will get the story of this book.

This was a terrifically emotional story about sacrificing for loved ones and overcoming painful pasts and finding happiness. Natasha is a witch whose life is literally ending. Felix is a dragon looking to remove his immortality. When these two meet the attraction is instantaneous, as is the love they feel. However they are both hiding a side of themselves that could tear them apart. The Dragon’s Witch is a thrillingly well written story filled with heartache, danger, secrets, passion, hatred, anger, healing, forgiveness, and love. A captivating new paranormal romance from Lola Gabriel with wonderful characters readers will love and won’t want to put down. I really loved this book and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This story is a different concept for a dragon shifter and a witch. There isn’t a lot of action or sexual tension, but a lot of emotional scenes. Natasha and Felix are sympathetic characters but with a good amount of baggage. When will they discover the other’s identity and how will they react? Great story that kept me turning the pages.

An immortal dragon wants to die and seeks out one of his creeds arch enemies – a Gayan witch, only to find out that there is something worth living.
The witch has something that looks like a health problem and she believes she is dying… Falling for the dragon was never the plan.
The book is quite interesting, as the story starts nearly at the end of the narration and than flashes back into the past, so the reader is left hanging at a cliff hanger for most of the story. It gives it a certainty that you want to continue reading to find out what will happen.
An interesting approach to a well-written book.

Natasha is a Gaia witch and Felix is a dragon shifter. The problem is that a dragon killed Natasha’s parents and Gaia witches kidnapped and tortured Felix as a child. The story is interesting and engaging with strong characters. Good read!

This is a well written book with strong , likable characters in Natasha, a Gaia witch and Felix,an immortal dragon. Both are hiding secrets and the fact that they have the power to kill each other makes this an intriguing story. The author does a great job developing their story and pulling you in with all the drama and sexual tension. They have an instant attraction that despite their secrets grows into a powerful love. The scenes are described in detail and the story moves quickly and smoothly. I was hooked from start to finish and would recommend this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book…
This is a wonderful well-written story, I did find the beginning to be a bit slow but once I got into this paranormal romance between a dragon and a witch it definitely got more enjoyable. The feud between dragons and the Gaia witches goes back centuries and now Felix is close to getting and eliminating the most dangerous one until he realizes that Natasha, the sweet human he fell for is actually the Gaia witch he’s looking for.
A sweet romance with some intrigue and mystery, no cliffhangers and a wonderful HEA.
