Sacrificed to a dragon as a teen, she was coddled for years. But when her dragon shifter fails to notice she’s all grown up and willing, she may just have to claim him herself.Since she was dropped on his doorstep, Cardi has had the hots for Kimber. Despite prancing around him in her off-the-shoulder shirts that showcase her bare midriff and her assortment of tight skorts that showcase her … that showcase her shapely thighs, he doesn’t take much notice of her. Kimber may have marked her as his, but he has yet to claim her by bopping her brains out. Cardi’s done waiting. Now she’s sure it’s time to resort to drastic measures.
Kimber has his hands full with the upcoming Accords which aims to bring shifters to a peaceful agreement to get the Valkyrie to lift the ban of sacrifices coming into the Veil. The trouble is, his own sacrifice continues to act like a child and demand his attention at every turn. When grounding Cardi doesn’t work, she drops a bombshell by dumping Kimber. It seems like a perfect solution as the peace and quiet settles in… but then Kimber comes to understand that being dumped means she’s going to date other shifters.
Their break up puts the Accords in jeopardy when Kimber has to abide by the new rules; rules that say a sacrifice makes her own choice of mate. With Cardi now a free agent, Kimber isn’t so sure she’ll choose him in the end. If he can’t win her back, and he resorts to ripping out the throats of the shifters sniffing around her, the fragile peace he’s cobbled together will turn to chaos.
If you love alpha male shifters, fated mates, and steamy romance with a touch of 80’s nostalgia, then you don’t want to miss The Last Dragons series!

While the writing was fair and it was somewhat interesting
It failed miserably to be anything other than frustrating characters who never go beyond or grow by chapter 4 it was clear that the spoilt brat was completely unaware she was a spoiled child
A manipulator and childish she doesn’t grow beyond this even by the end sh doesn’t learn anything
Add in the fact that rather than forcing her growth he caves and just continues to enable her
The final chapters or complications was unnecessary

This a well written Dragon storyline. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is undeniable and felt throughout the pages. The flow made this a great book to read.

Another great read, with lots of chemistry and hotness. This is a well written story and hooked me from the start. This is a quick hot read, with a interesting plot and fantastic characters, great emotion and Loads of steam!
The Dragon’s Willing Sacrifice by Ines Johnson is an amazing story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dragon shifters and paranormal romance in their stories.

The third book in the Last Dragons series a well written story with a great storyline, that I enjoyed reading. Cardi and Kimber’s story has suspense, drama, danger, a villain, and romance. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
After books 1 and 2 of the last dragons series, I was worried for Cardinal and Kimber on how they would find their happy ending.
Kimber saved Cardinal from his father and claimed her for his own, but has put off making it official. This story picks up after book 2 with Cardi getting sick of waiting. I have new respect for what Kimber was dealing with. His dragon will do whatever Cardi asks just to make her happy. How can you just give in when you are faced with an expert manipulator? Kimber is solely focused on keeping Cardi safe, even if it is from what his dragon wants to do to her.
The old saying absence makes the heart grow fonder is so true.
We get to see more of the world they live in as the other shifters try to find their own access to mates. Bears, lions, wolves, oh my.
I am excited to see what comes next.

She is fighting to be with the man of her future. He still sees her as a young girl instead of the grown woman that she is. Using some reverse psychology she decides to become independent to make him see her as his mate.

She has to fight for her mate. Using whatever means are necessary. Cardinal was brought to the dragons when she was sixteen and Kimber fought for her to be his mate. But he thought she was child and still does even though she has been there thirty human years. So Cardinal takes a stand, moves out, gets a job, and agrees to go on a date with the son of the alpha lion. She hopes Kimber will wake up and see she is a grown woman and finally claim her, but he agrees to all of her demands. She loves him but if he doesn’t want her than she is through with him. I was so excited to get this book to read, I had read book 1 and 2 and and I had hoped that Poppy and Chryssie would help her mature and get over her childish ways and 80’s fascination that was so over the top. Unfortunately I spend most of the book sympathizing with Kimber having to deal with Cardi’s immature, childish and manipulative ways. I understood where he came from he needed her to grow up so he can claim her and nobody ever told her that. The first sign that she might be maturing he pounced. I enjoyed the read, but I personally feel if she matured more and earlier in the book, we could have had more mature and romantic interactions between Cardi and Kimber. It was a good read and I will read the rest of the series.

More Dragons Behind the Veil!!
Sacrifices in this case are well-cared for mates. Cardi was dropped into the Veil when she was young. Kimber fought his father for her and waited for her to “grow-up”. Cardi is grown and it seems the only one who can’t see it is Kimber. Somewhat frustrating rather humorous story of Cardi working to gain his attention.
Another enjoyable story in this series.

This the third book in the Last Dragon’s. This book was fun!I have been waiting for Cardi and Kimber’s story. You will get to revisit the “eighties” with our lovely Cardi. I had some really good giggles during this book. I love that Cardi wants Kimber to see her as a woman but she is a bit of a brat. I was pulled in at the beginning, the antics of Cardi and Limber kept my attention until I had read the last word. It was great to see their relationship evolving! Plenty of heat, steam, humor and love! Highly recommend! Check it out! Fantastic way to spend the evening reading!
This story is so worth the and so is the whole series. This story is my favorite though. I can not wait to read more from this author.

A nice story, a bit childish.

I love science fiction books that talk about Dragons.
This story is original; that’s what attracted me: to think that in a parallel universe, live Dragons that need human women to survive. Unfortunately, those women are doomed to die or at least to wear physical damages after the pregnancies. And then we have Cardi, taken from hearth and initially claimed by Kimber. Kimber, he has to think about the ‘Accord’ for the sake of Dragons and all Shifters. He has no time for Cardi as he finds her too childish, even after three decades!!!
All the book is about her shenanigans to attract Kimber’s attention.
A nice touch is her ’80 passion.

I am loving each and every book. In this one, Kimber finally decides to go after Cardi. I cannot wait to see if there will be more set in this world with some of the other characters. I laughed and cried with these characters as they finally decide to choose love over everything else.

Spend a LONG afternoon with the NC17 frustrations of Cardinal Sin Ponzi with the dragon alpha Kimber who does not recognize that she is an adult.

She has wanted him to claim her for so long but he shows no sign of doing so but she does not know he does have feelings for her. She finally gets fed up and dumps him. Will this be what he needs to do what she wants? What if it pushes hi. Further away? See what happens

I truly enjoyed this book but not without having a pet peeve. To start this book was really fun. You might even say it was a bit over-the-top with its humor. The writing is high quality and creates a world and characters that easily envelopes you into it and have you feeling invested in their lives and happiness. I loved Kimber. I could sympathize with his thoughts and feelings. Cardi I liked but I did desperately wish she hadn’t been so bratty and childish. If you want to be treated like a adult you have to act like one. Still, this book was so entertaining even that petty annoyance couldn’t submarine it. I am freely posting a frank review.
3.5 Stars
I love the fact that the female lead character had a love of all things 80’s and 80’s Madonna (her earlier stuff is her best). This made for a quirky and entertaining read. The only thing that kept this from getting a higher rating were some spelling, grammatical, and continuity errors.

This book picks up the series-though it can be read stand alone. Cardi had lived behind the veil under Kimber’s protection for years. But where she wants more, he still sees a young girl. Will Cardi get her dream? Or will Kimber lose out because he can not see what is right in front of him? Read it and see!
