Callius and Fred’s story is like a whirlwind and I loved it! Fred’s insecurity jumped off the page, just as Callius’ assuredness. It’s an amazing story and I’m anxious to get to book 2.

It is simply too good, I read the whole thing in one sitting, just couldn’t put it down. And it is a quick read. I loved the story, and characters are, as usual, pretty amazing. C. D. Gorri just knows how to pull readers in, her books are always so good. This is story of a Dragon shifter who is looking for his ‘mate’ and a ‘Castle’ and then he finds them both. It’s time that he starts his new, free life, but first he needs someone he can share it with. Dragons are not meant to live alone for long, he has already waited for too long because of his circumstances. Now he has his freedom and soon he will have his mate and a home, where they will start their own clan.
Winifred has moved to Maccon city six years ago. She loves it and wants to stay here for good. Although, because of her ex-boyfriend, it now seems a little difficult. It’s Valentine’s Day and she is still pissed off at her liar of an ex, plus she is not having really a good night. There is too much noise at the bar where she works, she just wants her shift to end so she can go home and relax. Then she meets someone who literally takes her breath away. But who is he? Or more appropriately, what is he? And why is she attracted to her in a way she has never been attracted to anyone else?
It’s a fun and interesting read. Story is lighthearted and flows smoothly from the start until the very end. I think it’s a must read for all readers. I’d definitely recommend it to all my friends.

Well written story with great characters, lots of steam and the solid beginning of the tales of the Falk Clan. Love the tie in to the Macconwood Pack. Looking forward to reading more. Highly recommended.

This was such a sweet story! Although I’m doing it backwards! I need to totally read the wolves story after this to understand being locked awake from their wolf. Fred was slightly annoying with the denial though but I think maybe because she didn’t have access to her wolf that she couldn’t be absolutely positive about the fated mate thing so I did give her a pass on that but geez it took up a lot of pages.

Such a sweet Valentines story. This book is a perfect example of all that is right in the world of Maccon City. I love how the author gave us a back story and intermingled the Macconwood pack into the new Falk Clan. I think these dragons are going to bring a brand new exciting element to the author’s series world. I truly enjoyed this instant connection and the love that this couple found. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

As I love dragon stories, this was an easy pick for me! The author does a great job at setting the story up and building the characters right from the start. You are drawn in immediately with the first scene.
Callius(sp?) is the eldest of four dragon shifting brothers who are about to be released of a 500 year imprisonment from a tyrant dragon leader. Callious’ top priority is to find his life mate and build a home for his families clan.
This is a short story, but it is well worth it and the story continues with the next four books! Super excited to read the rest of this story!
