This is a fun fantastic fairytale style read featuring a prince, a girl, a witch and a curse! Nope not a bad joke just a fantabulous read that will grab you and hold you to the end! Great storyline, similar to that of beauty and the beast and great characters making this short read an absolute must!
Claire was a great character who was chosen to try to melt the prince’s heart. This was a fun story with fairies, princes and shifters. I enjoyed the way the two interacted and the way the story developed. The Dragon Prince was a likeable character who was cursed and Claire who didn’t want to be sent to his palace made the best of things. Loved it!
I enjoyed this new fairy tale. It has similarities to the old “Beauty and the Beast” story, but the author puts her own unique spin on the tale. It is a quick read with a sweet heroine, cursed prince, witch villain, and adorable fairy companions. It’s pretty low angst with the HEA ypu expect from a fairy tale. I look forward to more in this series.

The Dragon Prince by Anna Santos is a spin-off on the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast. A kingdom is ruled by a cursed prince. His heart is frozen as ice because of a curse. Until his heart is melted the kingdom will suffer from endless winter. Every so many months a ball is held, and a young woman is chosen to go to the Diamond palace to try and win the Prince’s heart. Some return to the town while others are never seen again. Claire will be the chosen one this time, and it falls on her to try and save those she loves. Can she melt the frozen heart of a Prince who simply wishes to be left alone? Can she accept him for what he is or will his secrets drive her away?
The Dragon Prince is an engaging short story, that while it only takes about a couple of hours to read will be a delightful story. The pace is quick so be prepared for things to happen quickly. Claire is a character that I immediately like from the beginning. She is a good reflection of Belle from the original Beauty and the Beast. She’s family oriented and cares deeply for her sick mother. I like that she has a good friend that she cares about. I honestly expected there to be some complication with the friend, but there isn’t. The author does a good job of staying focused on the primary storyline and keeps things very clean. There are a couple twists and surprises in the story that I also like quite a bit as well.
While I truly enjoyed this story, I do have some faults with it. I wanted more suspense with the ball scene. Things happen so quickly. I wanted the moment to at least be a little drawn out a bit. I was hoping for a slightly suspenseful moment because of the Regent’s daughter. I think that it would have really added more to the storyline.
All in all, I loved this story. It is a reflection of Beauty and the Beast but it is still its own unique story. It’s like Beauty and the Beast but with the Beast being in reverse. I loved it. I am an avid fan of this author and truly enjoy her work. If you are looking for a story with a guaranteed “happily ever after” then this is the book for you. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. If you have read other books by this author then I recommend you pick up this book. You won’t be disappointed in this paranormal/fantasy romance novel.

What a wonderful, lighthearted and fun read! I found this short story to be quite a fast-paced clean paranormal romance. The author has put a unique spin on the classic Beauty and the Beast story. One that features dragons! I would love to read more stories in this world, which I think will be forthcoming eventually. Claire is a likable character and is very strong in her beliefs. William was the perfect ‘beast’ and I wholeheartedly understand why Claire falls for him. If you love fairy-tale retellings and paranormal romance then I recommend this book to you.
The Dragon Prince is the first book in the Enchanted Kingdoms Chronicles.

Anna Santos never stops amazing me with her stories. I loved The Dragon Prince with its world build to the character builds. I want to read more in this series and can not wait to see them soon.
A sweet romance story set in a magical kingdom. Complete with dragons, fairies, a mystery and a curse. The title indicates this is book one in a series. While I would be curious to see what happens next, this story seemed complete, so no need to worry about a cliffhanger ending.

I Highly Recommend this book it is amazing. I loved how it is similar to Beauty and the Beast but with it’s on twist. Prince William Dracon is cursed by the Queen of the Ruby Kingdom. In order to break his curse he has to find true love. Things get a little more complicated once the Queen gets wind of the newest girl who is chosen to try and break the curse.
