Some memories are magic.
Darkness he can’t forget. Exiled dragon prince Alexander never recovered from the murder of his mate Maiara, an indigenous healer he met over three centuries ago. Every waking breath is a painful reminder of what he lost, his grief compounded by the constant presence of her immortal red-tailed hawk, bound to him since her death.
Light he’s afraid to remember. When three … her death.
Light he’s afraid to remember.
When three of his siblings arrive with news that he may be in grave danger, he secretly welcomes the possibility of a violent end to his torment. But as the four reminisce about how they came to know Maiara in the New World, they begin to see her life and death from a new perspective.
Magic that could change everything.
For the first time, the source of Maiara’s power is revealed and inspires a new but precarious hope. There may be a way for Alexander to be with her again, but his second chance for a happily ever after is risky at best, and at worst, could cost him the only thing he has left.

I have now listened to the first four books and they are amazing. This is Alexander’s story and from this book we get more back story and more about siblings Gabriel and Rowena. There were some laugh out loud moments! Alexander is in a dark place after his mate’s death. I really don’t want to say much because it would be too easy to give it away. Just know there is sibling reunions, sibling squabbling, more magic, good and bad, a very scary time on the mountain, an egg and a cliffhanger. So, be prepared.
I could not put this book down! I love the twists and turns and wondering what will happen next. I so did not see that ending coming. Gah!!! Waiting for the next book to hit my ereader.
I love this series, I cannot wait for the next book. This story had a cliffhanger ending that leaves you thinking, “Oh no! What now!?”
Alexander and Maiara…
Well now that was a love story that transcended time and space and it was beautiful… These two may have had to wait hundreds of years for their HEA but they finally found a way back to each other that didn’t involve Alexander decapitating himself, cause that would have been really gross…
I love the continuing adventure this family of dragons is taking me on, a mix of history, a couple fated to be together for eternity, loads of magic and supernatural stuff and even visits to other planes of existence I mean honestly what is not to love… For anyone interested in fantasy, magic, supernatural and romance Genevieve Jack is an amazing author.
“The Dragon of Sedona is book four in the Treasure of Paragon series by Genevieve Jack. The book can be read as a stand-alone! I’m new to Genevieve writing style and I really enjoyed this book.
The first thing that I loved the most was the multiple POV. Each one of the characters kept this story captivating and intriguing. The plot was different and interesting.
My heart ached for Alexander, a broken soul that I wanted so desperately to hug and protect. This was a story about love transcending the test of time.
A story about Dragon shifters to a whole new level. A must read!”
Another great story in the series, this time with Maiara and Alexander’s story. She is a mysterious woman, Alexander has lost someone. I just absolutely love this series, every character, every story, Genevieve Jack has taken my love for Dragon shifters to a new level. A must read, I suggest you read them all!
Another fantastic addition to the series! The story centers around Alexander and Maiara and their lost love. Alexander lost the love of his life in Maiara and as a dragon he cannot die but also his hawk won’t let him. He has been lonely over the centuries because he cannot interact with his siblings and his love has died. Then Gabriel enters his life and informed him that all of the siblings have mated and things are not as they seem or were told when they left their home world. Can Alexander really have Maiara? Will their love for each other will stand the test of time?
Reaching across time
Once again, this author has overwhelmed me with her ability to create a world and characters to get lost in. I love how the siblings reconnect and how hope is born from anguish. The author was able to keep the intensity from the previous books going and led us on the path of an epic love story that eventually leads to a HEA I will be sure to read again and again.
So much craziness. We learn about Alexander and his mate Maiara. Back when everyone first came to America before it was even settled. Really cool with the jumps in time, when he told the story of how he met her and everything that happened. Loved watching the family come together and try to help Alexander heal and then fox things. Honestly with each book I honestly hate Aborella more and more. Excited for the baby!!!! Can’t wait for next book. Between aborella and their wretched mother, I hope karma does her thing. I’m also hoping Avery gets powers and joins the ranks of the 3 sisters. Then they just need one more long lost relative (mhm hints on a plane) and then they can’t do damage!!
Love this series! Wonderful characters! Recommended!!
