He wanted to be clan leader to make a name for himself, to prove he was greater than his upbringing led him to believe. Then Janae happened. The little human brings nothing but trouble wherever she goes, but Emerson can’t stop thinking about her. From her soft curves to her sweet personality, Emerson can’t get his mind off Janae. What would it be like to get to know her in and out of his bed? Would … out of his bed? Would she be just as fiery between the sheets as she is on the docks?
When Liam, one of the dock workers, becomes injured, his sister, Janae, comes to help him. Only Janae’s never been around dragons before, especially super toned, super fit ones. She doesn’t much care for the way they treat her brother or for the way they act like they’re better than everyone.
She especially doesn’t like the Lostfallen clan leader who seems intent on giving her as much trouble as he can muster.
Fortunately for her, Emerson loves a good fight.

The Dragon Fighter by Sophie Stern is an awesome story to read. This is book number two in this awesome series that I have loved reading very much and can not wait to read book number three. Cute story about Janae, a nerdy librarian who is afraid to live who finds herself coming out of her comfort zone when she meets the handsome leader of the dragon clan. Emerson. The two are instantly attracted to each other and so begins the cute, sexy and humorous flirting. A little action/violent drama towards the end which ends up showing how well Emerson is the “dragon fighter” …he protects his clan and love ones…The last couple of chapters felt kind of rush and didn’t really explore their HEA well but I was still entertained. A fun read.

This is book two in the Dragon Isle series and absolutely amazing! Janae, a librarian, is asked by her brother, Liam, for help after he hurt himself and injured his leg. Her brother’s job is taking goods and people back and forth to Dragon aisle. She meets Emerson, an alpha dragon shifter, when he needs to go home to Dragon Isle. There’s an immediate attraction when she meets Emerson, but Janae doesn’t know much about relationships. Such a great read, with an intriguing storyline and filled with drama, angst, sizzling chemistry, and romance.

I love dragon stories and this one was really great. Janae came to the docks to help her brother, Liam, who was hurt. She lives in a small town and works at the Library there. On her first day taking people over to Dragon Isle she meets Emerson. She likes him but her relationship skills suck so she’s rude to him. Emerson likes a good fight and he really likes Janae and he’s going to go after her. Their chemistry together overcomes her fears and makes for a great story. The Dragon Fighter is the second book in the Dragon Isle series, and an AMAZING new book which will keep you spellbound and begging for a next book to hurry up and arrive.
This book is full of action and drama, and Sophie Stern does a fabulous job of bringing her characters to life.
I have read many of Ms. Stern’s books by now, and I love them more as I go along. If you haven’t read a book by Ms. Stern, I strongly suggest you start off with one of her stand alone’s then move onto her series. You won’t be disappointed.
The sweet librarian and the Alpha Dragon Shifter………….making more than a little fire between them
The Dragon Fighter is the second book in the Dragon Isle series and is the story of Janae and Emerson. This is a fast-paced story which has drama, twists, suspense, romance and some very sizzling chemistry. Emerson is a dragon shifter Alpha male who has some plans for his future. Janae is a librarian who has come to take care of her brother Liam after he injured his leg. She and Emerson meet on the first day when she is filling in for her brother. There is an immediate attraction but she is unsure of herself. However, he is not about to let her get away and makes it so she has to come every day to the island, just so he can get to know her. Over time their relationship grows as does Janae.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Great Dragon Paranormal Romance…

This book simply is one of the best by Sophie Stern I absolutely adored Janae she came to help her brother after he got hurt, and as a heroine in this book she had a lot of self-doubt and had a lot of problems seeing her own worth as a person, but she showed moments of kindness and being feisty.
Emerson was the quintessential alpha male who know who he wanted and that
was Janae and wow did they set off their
own fireworks.
